ESOTU Console Launch - Known Issues

The citadel must fall: pyramid room is glitched for almost a hundred of us. It's like a small city in here, people waiting with hopes that it's going to fix itself... So they can finish the main story. I feel like main story quests should be working before you sell a product. I get some side quests aren't ran as often during testing, but eso is having way too many problems. The lemon law should protect us from this and the least you could do is offer refunds to players who bought something that doesn't work!

I feel you but what really astounds me that the exact same quest was borked on pc at launch too many people around someting not getting triggered etc, etc. It will also hae to resolve itself - people will get tired and leave the spot (hopefully not the game).

I literally just want to play the game!!! I have great internet connection and have never experienced being kicked out of a game so often. All of my friends can play no problem. After spending over 100 dollars to buy the collectors edition and supporting this game i feel that nearly a month after launch i should be able to play for more then 20 minutes without being kicked!

Okay, I've had it.

Since purchasing this game for PS4 on the 20th of June (and agonizing thru two separate 15gb updates in less than 2 weeks) I've had nothing but crashes, lag, bugs and other game play issues that essentially make this game UNPLAYABLE. I've nothing new to contribute. Reading thru these posts, I'm having the same issues everyone else has already posted about. Thank God I didn't purchase crowns or the explorers pack. I'M DONE. I'm returning my copy for a refund. Screw this. Keep this incompetent BS up and continue to lose your customers. I'm playing outside!!!!!

I am so sick of the quest where you have to defeat the Silvanars captors not working. Been stuck trying to finish it over two weeks. FIX THIS please!!! Tired of the hundred or so morons gathered at any given time acting stupid and obnoxious towards other players. Please fix quest and make it a solo instance.

i'm guessing you mean move your characters over to eu server, but you could just do what me and friends have done--make new characters on eu, and when one server is buggy over another, play on the more stable one. Theroetically, also allows you 16 characters. You won't be able to share anything across servers between your characters, though.

What about "The Prisoner of Jathsogur" quest. This is the most annoying quest in the Aldmeri Dominion. How is this quest even possible with hundreds of trolls killing the chick before she can reach "The Silvernar" downstairs. How can we advance with the storyline if this quest is completely broken? Wtf...

You aren't supposed to let her go downstairs because she DOESN'T go downstairs at all. You have to kill her, then the Silvenar appears as an apparition and takes you downstairs. Instead of being in the shackles, he's on the floor and you can complete the quest.

So all the people saying "OMG LET HER DOWNSTAIRS!!!" are just being as stupid as the rest of them. There is a bug that isn't triggering the next stage and there's nothing we can do until ZOS bloody well fix it...

Not sure why im bothering because ZOS doesn't check this thread let alone answer us in any acceptable way but....

on PS4 everytime i log on i get a ui error, its differnt every time and sometimes the ui error box will pop up on my screen and as soon as i exit out of it it will reappear again, i cant even log out when this happens its rare but its annoying as hell.

this problem started when i zoomed my 3rd person out all the way, ive moved the camera in and out to see if that was causing it but it wasn't

pardon but whats going on with the chained portals not dropping loot anymore it used to be if you repeated the portal you still got the loot but now i have to completely goto a new one not complaining but what happened. great game btw.

Wrong! You can complete the quest if you allow her to go downstairs. That's the only current fix for the moment.

On Xbox one NA server, the NPC that is supposed to spawn in jothsogur hasn't spawned once in the past 14 or so hours. I actually haven't ever seen her spawn once

Just to add to the joke that is the ESO support I haven't been able to log in all week. All I get is a *** internal error message. After having an open ticket for 3 days and going to Twitter I'm told its due to server demand... So I thought lets test that so I created a new xbox account. Linked it with a new esotu account. Pressed play and low and behold it loaded straight away. It's bull. Why lie. Obviously it's for another reason that they don't want to say for fear of losing what seems to be a quickly diminishing reputation.

I've gone back to the recipient of whoever sends out the automated support email and asked for an actual answer... 'Helping you is our passion'... My arse...

List of issues I've encountered that either A) are currently listed here, B.) are not known (at least from what I could find) or C) are normal and really non-issues (as far as I know):

1) In-Game Mail: Friends, Guild Members, other Players, etc. are unable to send me mail. The constant "Player Not Found" error is received. Though it is currently listed as a know issue and should be resolved in the next update, it's quite annoying.

2) Ultimate-Dragonknight/Corrosive Armor (Earthen Heart): Upon activating this Ultimate and switching bars immediately after appears to cancel out the Ultimate, thus using all Ultimate points, but no Ultimate being used. I have no idea if this is normal/intended, but it makes my theory-crafted build/rotation go out the window.

3) Mounts-Loss of Sprint: While sprinting (in a city or other area) on your mount, when you go down a flight of stairs, rather than descending the stairs like you would when not sprinting, you "fall" down the stairs, as if you jumped, thus canceling the sprint when landing. Having little to no stamina, at this point, can be detrimental, especially when trying to make a quick getaway in PvP or PvE.

Sending out an email about limited time offers in the crown store seems cruel when so many people still can't access the crowns they already paid for. Not that anyone here seems to care about their customers.

Looks like they need another maintenance or patch this game is unplayable at the moment for me

I have Comcast internet provider and use a hard wired cat 6 cord. I keep getting disconnected from the game I don't have connection issues with any other ps4 games. I can't play for more than 10 minutes whithout getting disconnected please help this is really annoying.

Same here computer and phone connection works fine. I also have comcast and I have a wired connection. I lag so much in game that I die from enemies that are 50 feet away from me. I also get disconnected about 10 minutes into gaming as well. They really need to something about it. This is the first time I've had issues in the EU server.

yes and no, i just think if ya were able to migrate all your stuff and character to EU, i would any many others as well in my imediate circle of 50+ friends fustrated with the NA issues. we do play on EU....cause NA server down daily. just sad we cant just move it all with us. If ya wana enjoy eso join the ESO EU server. ive had ZERO issues

agreed, company wide as eastern Minnesota comcast is doing upgrades/ maintenance as well

Ok so the game just got CRAZY lag then booted me out. Now I'm getting a unable to login server timed out error.

Get your act together ZOS, you aren't handling this well. Maybe people would buy the sh*t you advertise if you fixed the game before peddling new add ons. Very disappointed, this has become more and more frequent

So 2 friends of mine just got booted out of the servers and cannot reconnect at all a few minutes ago and i just now got booted out right after the game booted me from my group chat and when i tried to join any of the other chats they completely disappeared from the chat lists. Please fix your servers. This has become a daily issue for the NA servers and really needs to be fixed.

Cant log into eso right now xb1. was with a group and everyone froze. now its saying log in failed. connection to server timed out. try again later

Seriously how hard is it to fix a single megaserver? EU XB1, EU PS4, and NA PS4 seem to be just fine from what i understand yet NA XB1 server goes down on a daily basis pretty much around the same time every day. Its simple, target the problem and eradicate it. Its one megaserver.
