Again show me a flying mount in TES lore during this period. Show me a flying mount in TES in any period other than a Dragon Born. Which was either 100's of years earlier or a thousand years latter.

Morrowind -- Pterodactyl critters.

I used to track where I'd been in Morrowind by all the dead cliffracers on the ground. They did wonders for leveling my marksman skills.

Never once did I see any cliffracer that had a saddle and bridle. They were the equivalent of flying skeevers, not mounts.

Yes, again with the lore, since Tamrielic Lore is THE base core to every TES game since 1994. You want flying mounts, thats cool, play WoW. Yes, they went B2P, but it was to get consoles launched and the problems with Microsoft not playing nice with Sony, not from feedback. But I really doubt they will throw out 20+ years of established lore. The back lash would be horrendous from the core fan base and No to dragons also. If you want a dragon, wait 948 years, they will be back then.

Yeah, because I'm sure everyone who doesn't come on the forums has the exact same opinion as you! That's much more likely than the idea that their opinions may be split in similar proportions to the opinions of the other players who are just like them except for the fact that they come to the forums.

And no, a lot of people won't just live with it if flying mounts are introduced. A lot of people will quit the game and go back to single player TES games.

The level of "I'm-going-to-take-my-toys-and-go-home-if-this-ever-happens" is UN. REAL.

While I wouldn't mind flying mounts, I'm perfectly happy with the way the game is now. If there's a good reason NOT to add them, I don't mind being convinced of that, either.

What I would REALLY like, though, is the ability to dive under the water. Not new underwater content; just the ability to go under what we already have. To me, the slaughterfish gimmick really takes away from suspenion of disbelief, particularly in Cyrodiil.

Back to flying, though. I wouldn't mind the Spellcraft system introducing a LIMITED levitation spell. I really miss those from Morrowind...

Or maybe even a double jump that we could buff through the Champion System.

For better or worse this game and gw2 are super ssimilar (aside from new expansion ) and wouldnt call either a wow clone.

I'm really amused by how many people seem to think flying mounts would ruin the game. How exactly would flying destroy ESO? I don't see the big danger. Perhaps it could be a worry in Cyrodil...gates would be pretty useless there...but other than that I think it would be cool. Its not going to happen, because such an addition would require a huge amount of work, but I would buy one for sure.

You must complete each zone before you can fly.
You cannot fly in Cyrodiil. As cool as that would be it would just ruin the point of breaking through walls.

Due to this game being so young and buggy there are bigger fish to fry.
They would have to change mountains and borders.

No, they are not in the cannon (ESO is before Skyrim, nuts [politically correct exclamation, you know what to substitute. Dragon mounts would be cool]). However, Morrowind did have a levitation spell that when your mage could restore magicka fast enough was a flight spell. And that is cannon.

What are we even talking about here? What kind of flying mounts? There are no dragons, so what, unicorns? What is there that flies in ES other than dragons? Anything other than dragons would break lore...and for that matter, so would dragons. So, No, no flying mounts.
