The List of missing Provisioning Writ Recipes

I added a link to this thread in my signature to hopefully give it more exposure. @Woolenthreads , if you object please let me know and I'll remove it.

Nah, it's good. It's just a pity that threads of this sort tend to get buried. Still the signature link is a good idea.

I also have all of the ones in that list. So if it is ok to add me to the list then count me in.

I am on the EU Server, and am reachable at @Iluvrien for in-game mail.

I'll also see about adding this thread to my sig... thus creating a sig.

Done. Also you've reminded me of the two servers.

Sorry, @Kodo, I'm guessing you're on the EU Server, I do have characters there but none of them are very high and I don't think those ones have all the recipes.

I am thinking the Lemon Flower Matze has been tweaked in the loot lists. I found another recipe last night in the guild store. For about a month I could not find this recipe listed anywhere at any price.

:) Or RNG likes you ATM? I haven't seen anything, although that being said, my low level characters aren't trying to collect either

@woolenthreads: I've got about 420 recipes now, so you can add me to the list of willing to provide food for writs to help folks along.

I've also got a few duplicates of low level recipes in the bank I was holding for a friend who I thought might play, however it doesn't look like he's interested in the game. So drop me a message if you are having a tough time with the RNG luck.

*laughs* I have all the recipes required for writs plus purples at every grade. It's a beneift of playing the game for a while with 8 characters. Thanks for the offer though.

As for RNG :D last night I got another Imperial motif, a Kuta, an Abecean Planked Fish Recipe and a Dwemer Boots page in the first hour I played. I now fully expect that the god RNG will be jumping up and down on my drops making them all dirt for the rest of the year ;).

Edit# OK, now I'm being "frightened/puzzled" by the RNG, having picked up a Dwemer Legs Page and another Kuta. Has anybody else been doing well in random drops this week? I can't help but feel that the generation numbers might have changed or that some coding issue from the last patch has turned up.

I've gotten 3 including this one over the last year. I suspect it might be becasue I have both my VR's run around Coldharbour checking the furniture every day. My current favourite character was used to continually try to find at least one L10 and L15 recipe by checking furniture in all the EP Regional Cities for 6 weeks straight. During that period I picked up the second Imperial and all the blue motifs enough to give all 8 characters on the NA server the "Alliance Style Master" Achievement.

In other words, I mostly got them due to obsessive perserverance looking for other things.

Given the fact that 3 Gold and 4 purple Items have dropped in a mere 6 hours of interrupted play I'm actually wondering if something has changed on the loot tables inadvertantly, particularly since I've also suffered 5 games freezes during that 6 hours of play.

While I haven't been quite as obsessive as you, pre 1.6, I always ran a loop around whatever main city my character was in at the time (though Davon's Watch is pretty thin in the container department) every time I came back to town to sell/bank/research/etc. I went into every house, inn, shop. I've looted so many containers to find recipes and motifs, especially when getting to veteran levels to loot the purple racial motifs. In all that time with all my characters, I never found an Imperial motif. But, I did find a lot of recipes (some of them purple) and the blue motifs several times over, which I was able to give to all of my characters.

Now, post Justice System, I really only loot Coldharbour with my one veteran character. I have done some stealing in Wayrest and Daggerfall, which has pretty good buildings for looting, and have found a few purple recipes/motifs while stealing. One of these days, however, I will find one! (Or at least I keep telling myself this  )

I pulled two Imperial Motifs from Zone Chat for 35K and 43K about 3 weeks before 1.6 dropped. Good enough for me to buy them and stop looking for them, even when we could loot with impunity. I have one more character I might have learn all the motifs on, she has all the Blues, I have 3 of the Purples in the bank and am still awaiting Ancient Elf (I have never found that one either, always had to buy it). The Imperial, it will come when it comes, if that ever happens. I can make it on two of my main crafters, and covert on a third, so that is enough for me.

I put this last one in the store at the average price as half my NA characters are imperials and I've already used two motifs.

Can you recommend a couple of big EU guilds that I could join where people are likely to go looking for these problem recipes (preferably accessible from starting locations or EP)?

In my own search for missing writ recipes (Fishy Stick & Banana Surprise) my Alts have generated quite a few of the things on the list that I don't need, but hermity soloist that I am, they've been languishing in inventories with no outlet for going back into general circulation.

I was thinking mostly something similar but it's remarkably difficult to get into a big Guild regardless of the Server, they have waiting lists. The best you can do, is hope to get into an active guild that has lone players while waiting on one of those lists. You may find that when you get into the big guild they demand you spend time on things for them like keeping a constant item flow or participating in events.

I've somehow lucked out with that, having volunteered for one active Guild and been asked to join another in game, while still on the waiting lists. None of that is EU though, so I can't help you, perhaps @Iluvrien or @Khenarthi can help you, they are both EU.

I wish. To be honest I am still looking for a crafting support guild (even after a year). I have seen, and even been in or had contact with, some of the larger trading guilds but those seem to be focused on total item throughput rather than individual trade areas, as @Woolenthreads said.

I am beginning to wonder if it might not be a better idea to get together as many dedicated crafters as I can find and create a new guild specifically geared towards swapping/trading craft items (recipes, trait items etc.) and information to bring on new crafters.

Hmm.... Talk to Nestor.Perhaps the Guild we're in could have a sister Guild on the EU server. It wouldn't be one I could join unfortunately because I haven't accessed my EU characters in a long time due to connection issues with the EU in general (I can only get a good connection during EU early morning). I will suggest though, that you recruit players from Region 3 and higher rather than Region 1 or 2 as these players will have made it past the hump so to speak and tend to be more interested in just playing :). I think that's why the other active guild I'm part of is so active. They were recruiting folks who had passed the playing "hump". I was recruited into it via one of my characters in Marbruk.

I am looking for purple recipe for food level 10. The last known is corinthe... which is level 20 and it is officially 2/3 recipe. So, it should be 1/3 purple recipe for 10-15 levels. Does anybody see it or food in game? I would like to buy it.

According to The Master Provisioning List there is no purple food for levels below 20

#Edit: Ah, I see that you also posted a thread where people told you something similar :). Personally I think Nestor's right. I have a lot of purple food but, to be honest, the characters are specialised to either Magicka or Stamina and the boost in the non-specialised stat is mostly a waste, I can get more use out of the higher values that come from a blue food.

New player, struggling with Chicken Breast and Matze for my L1 Provisioning Writs - so, nothing new to add to the list, but griping about it here makes me feel a bit better :D

Been looting everything I can in hopes of a benevolent RNG bu tno luck. Also checking the guild stores i can access, but haven't made it out of Vulkhel Guard yet so the selection's limited.

Will try messaging folks on the "willing to craft for us lowbies" list tonight so I can at least complete the writ, but does anyone have the recipes for either of these for sale?

Matze is kind of rare, I think only a couple of my provisioners know that.

However I can make you some stacks of this, just message me in game to @Nestor and I can help you out. It would be best to make some stacks as the writs seem to pick 3 foods and 3 drinks for most of the writs you get to turn in.

I very, very rarely get a writ recipe as a writ reward. I believe that the only quick way to get a writ recipe is to raid furniture all the time. It used to be that there were places outside of cities with furniture to check (not within the justice system) but now the probability of them being empty appears to be 95%. I've also observed that my <L13 haven't gotten >L10 recipes so I raised one of them up to L13 to see if I get higher (L13 being when you were able to get L15 recipes pre-1.6).

#edit: There was a little confusion about my first sentence in this comment. I meant "The recipes I get as a reward from writs, are rarely ones that can be used to make food for writs".

I seem to have quite the opposite problem - yesterday out of 5 Lv 6 characters, two got L15 recipes (Tomato Borscht and Stir-fried Garlic Beef), but very rarely get L1 recipes.

There has to be something wrong, I always get a Recipe. I mean each and every writ, no matter what level character or level of writ. Are you sure your not scrolling down to the bottom of the list of stuff in the container?

I think they mean that they don't receive a recipe that's required for a writ in their reward container. Meaning they don't ever receive Chicken Breast or Lemon Flower Mazte as a reward. At least, that's how I read it.
