I am going to see if it applies the swirly air around my opponents legs, which is the surest sign of the immunity. But is there a better way?
I'm trying. When I noticed it most was on my stamina templar using biting jabs then hitting the mob that wasn't knocked back with reverberating bash or invasion. It could be something weird like the mobs are standing side by side so close that the code decides 'hey they are both in the range but only one can get the knock-back, they didn't define only one gets the immunity'. I also tend to circle the mobs so IDK if that's having some weird effect. I've switched weapons on that character atm but once I can be bothered I'll try with S&B to get it to work again. Got no way of posting a video tho.
Well, I think we do have to realize that the CC immunity was recently added by the designers themselves in patch 1.6.2. It was not something that the players noticed in the game and started to complain about-- rather, it was something the designers themselves changed about the game. I guess I just point this out to Gina because she said the designers are having a hard time duplicating the bug... it wasn't a bug. It was something they themselves added to the game with 1.6.2. So really, I wonder, how they can have problems finding something they themselves just added to the game, literally only a couple of weeks ago.
Hopefully more than the canned Templar answer "we made the gcd slightly smaller"LOL They actually answered my question about the charge and eclipse on ESO Live that I think I posted a couple weeks ago and started to go over it, and right at that moment, I had to take off my headphones and answer someone at work.

This is not just one ability, but a very large portion of our toolkit that is NOT functional.
I have stopped using puncturing sweep in PvP because I don't like handing out CC immunity like candy. This makes me unhappy because I REALLY like this skill.

One of those useless abilities is Piercing Javelin! I think my mind was clouded when I few days ago spent skill points into this skill. It's so bad, almost no dmg that even it's CC bonus seems useless. I can't even think about situation where this skill is useful!

I haven't seen anyone use it since beta, where I took it off my bar but others I knew just kept it because it looked awesome to impale someone with a spear. Looks like Tarzan, hits like Jane.
And the first thing to pop out is...darkknightfkb16_ESO wrote: »Hopefully more than the canned Templar answer "we made the gcd slightly smaller"LOL They actually answered my question about the charge and eclipse on ESO Live that I think I posted a couple weeks ago and started to go over it, and right at that moment, I had to take off my headphones and answer someone at work.
'we're aware and are working on it'
This is a fair change, but ZOS tends to overbalance the Templar downwards pretty far before realizing they broke our toys. Did this ability bottom out on fixes yet?ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Templar
- Dawn’s Wrath
- Radiant Destruction: This ability now cancels if the enemy moves out of your line of sight.
Someone REALLY expected that templar's skills will be fixed instead of ruining what we already have ?!

ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »As promised, here is an update for some of the abilities that were called out. Keep in mind we tried to focus only on abilities that appeared to be bugged, and not actual design decisions. We know some of the answers may seem a little vague, but we honestly just don't have a solid date yet for some of these fixes. Hope this helps, though, and let us know if you have any follow up questions!
- Focused Charge: This ability has a GCD that locks you out of any action for 1-2 seconds after each use. We are aware this is happening, and are working on a fix.
- Eclipse: After a successful spell reflect, you are unable to use any abilities for a few seconds. We are aware this is happening, and are working on a fix.
- Solar Barrage: This ability grants empower, but does not apply to AoEs. It turns out that the bonus damage wasn’t applying to itself, and we’re currently testing a fix for this.
- Sun Fire and Solar Flare: The travel speed of these projectiles is noticeably slower than other casted-projectile spells (such as Crystal Frags). We plan on increasing the travel speed for these projectiles in a future update.
- Breath of Life: This ability appears to have a consistent delay after activation. We plan on increasing the cast time for this ability in a future update.
- Puncturing Strikes: We’re seeing reports that this ability is giving a 4 second CC immunity to every target it hits, regardless if they are hit by the knockback. We’re currently investigating to see if this is a bug or working as intended, and will let you know when we have an answer.
Seeing this kind of stuff, these internal notes, is AWESOME. I would love to see this more often.
