As explained in the forum rules, we do not allow disciplinary actions to be discussed on the forums. If you want additional information on why you were moderated, or wish to dispute moderation, you can submit an appeals ticket.here.
Disciplinary actions are private, and we will not share whether we have actioned someone, or how, with other people. This restriction has been expanded to everyone since public discussion tends to attract problems, and we cannot comment to confirm, deny, or clarify. Some posts have been removed.Lil_Willie wrote: »Enforce the rules so ZOS can clear "criticism" against the company and its game? Thats the oldest trick in the book.
Looking around the forums I see a lot of criticism. I'd have to say, if we're trying to clamp down on this or hide it we aren't succeeding.
Criticism is welcomed, but it needs to be civil and constructive. Being respectful is one of the basic themes reiterated in the forum rules. It is fine to critique the game, it is fine to refute ideas and suggestions of others, it is fine to debate - but it all needs to be done in a respectful manner.
Regardless of one's opinions, if someone starts attacking others we will moderate them. We've even had people dispute moderation because "I was just defending the game," and that isn't a legitimate excuse.

In this regards I have a question about threads/comments which seem to be off-topic (because they are not directly related to the game), but are helpful with the social aspects of the community. I kind of like those, where I get to know something about the person behind the avatar in this forum. It makes me feel emphatic to this person and helps me to communicate. Will such "social" contents, which might seem to be off-topic, be banable in future?- It would be quite sad, if this would be the case.
