It might be the millions of lines of code interacting with each other in a literally incalculable number of ways, but don't let that take away your fun!

The rules engine for a MMO is no more or less complex than any other application suite, and should be held to the same standards.

To me, it demonstrates just how unlike a real PLAYER their QA department is.
LOL
Come on now ZoS. Is there absolutely NO testing going on over there? I don't know about you guys, but after I code something cool I like to test my code with some Frito's and Mountain Dew.

Yes, it seems any ability used with the two hander line is completely broken.
I used silver shards which was on the same bar as my two hander and i was suddenly 2-3 shotting people. I quit afterwards, i'll wait for a patch as right now it's pointless to test anything.
jopeymonster wrote: »FTFY - we should all know by now that there is only internal tester. How else could all these issues get sent to PTS without being noticed? This isn't the first time that obvious game-breaking bugs were found on PTS by players. Previous patches also went to LIVE with game-breaking bugs still in coding, even after players /bug report them.
ZOS saves money by only hiring one tester, probably named Bob, and makes paying players test the patches. It's been like this for over a year... am I the only one that knew this?

It's quite unlikely this will be hotfixed. It's not because it isn't a big deal - it definitely is - but the process to hotfix an issue on the PTS is quite different than the Live megaservers. That said, we're currently planning on having another PTS patch next week.

@ZOS_GinaBruno
Will this next patch make it so that Guards can finally and justifiably be killed, instead of having them be gods compared to all players?

Guards in towns should be basically unkillable... imagine how insane the Justice System and towns/cities would get if you could just kill the guards and get away with everything... that sucks.
