No, I meant lunch. And I was referring to urgency, not difficulty, though I suspect it shouldn't be too hard to find. If you can reproduce a bug and know it was introduced in the latest patch, that narrows things down a lot.
It's only PTS not live luckily. And well since it's at least somewhat related to CP and only 3600 points put in. I have to say that it might be bit hard to find what combination there is causing insane increase on damage. But if someone really can say that maybe putting that 100 points into that specific star causes it to roll over or something that will cause the damage just by looking at brawler damage then nice.
I suspect it will take some time to find out what is actually causing something like that if it is even just one nominator, can be multiple ones together causing it.

I have a feeling that their own private testing is just based on theory. "In theory this should work and not cause conflicts". Some players are just more innovative on doing stuff. As dev you try to play the game as designed, players in the other hand "sometimes" tries to play the game as it was not designed and find the flaws.

Oh, but it IS how it works in MMOs. It is also WHY systems like PTS exist, so players can break the system and it can be fixed before going live. Some players have a knack for finding ways to exploit the system. Nice ones just /bug it. Not so nice ones exploit it until someone cries foul. then crow about it to the world. (see abuse of chains, abuse of dragon leap, abuse of streak, scroll exploiting,)

lol no it isnt. No professional development team in any industry at any level conducts testing by saying "This probably works..." It may seem like that when several people are incompetent and gamebreaking bugs leak out of internal builds into public builds, but in order to develop and release any complex software suite it requires methodical dev/qa cycles as well as regression testing. This is just a case that ZOS's internal people screwed the pooch, violently.
No, it's not. PTS is the last place testing occurs. Internal testing is meant to eliminate major, easily reproducible bugs before the new build makes it to live. PTS is meant to uncover fringe bugs that are much more rare and more difficult to reproduce consistently. Yes, sometimes major bugs get by internal QA but people were abusing this bug within hours of the PTS going up, something like this should not have made it to the PTS stage of testing.C0pp3rhead wrote: »I'm with @McDoogs on this one. it is going to take time for them to find all the bugs with this kind of open end system, i am not suprised someone found a bug that they have not. this is basically square 1 again. remember launch all the out of control combos people found, well expect to see that again.

So tell me.. How many people are running with 2H and spamming Momentum on live server atm? This IS a FRINGE bug.
If they can't catch major obvious game breaking bugs like this internally, what kind of subtle bugs/exploits are slipping through the cracks?

It's not a fringe bug when it was so quickly discovered by so many and is so easily reproducible.

Good to know. Thanks for the update. Once the bug is pinpointed can we expect any insight into what is causing it? I'm curious if it's related to the champion system, buffs not going away or something else.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Guys, we're looking at this now. Lies!while having a 2h equiped you get more dmg with every weapon swap
you only have to weapon swap like 100 times and you insta kill everything
while having a 2h equiped you get more dmg with every weapon swap

On pts momentum is a general weapon dmg buff. you can use it on 2h and it works with bow, dw etc
*tries again*
