A pet slaughter fish which you can give as a present to others.

    Small Print.
The pet can only be released in water, where it immediately attacks and kills everyone around it, and stays present in that area of water for at least an hour. Placed strategically in certain parts of certain cities, you can have hours of fun watching criminals swimming away from guards only to be munched on by slaughter fish.

My biggest wish is some form of appearance change, as I don't like the way my character look in heavy armors when I move. The side flaps floats off my body and looks terrible. Wish they made them stick more to the model.

My next suggestion is a custom costume, and this is how I imagine it could work. You buy an item called costume imprint. Then you equip the items you want for your costume, dye them in the color you want and then right click the costume imprint item and click imprint. A text box appears warning you that this is a one time use only and asks if you are sure you want to imprint this look. You can decline or accept. If you accept you can name your new costume. I would love if this could be then sold to other players but I guess that may be a bit too much to ask for.

This way we can actually look the way we want instead of having to deal with preset costumes or armor that we don't really like. I personally like all the lower tier armor models much more than the highest tier looking armors, but I am stuck with them since there is no real appearance tab in the game. The dye system makes it bearable though and is a great addition to the game. Of course I would rather have an appearance tab or something like Transmogrification in WoW. But we all know we are stuck with the limited costume option in this game for now. I had a look I adored when I was around lvl 20-30 and I so miss being able to use that look in the game.

And here I thought I was the only that was bothered by some of the side flaps on certain armors :open_mouth:
I would love to be able to alter my characters body appearance, because now that I'm VR7 and have come back to this character after playing on alts, I look at it and I wonder what was I thinking back when I made her? An appearance change option would definitely be my biggest wish.

Inflation by definition is the increase in currency his is a design of the games. This would exist if there were gold seller or not. The problem is you make certain assumption which don't whole true in reality or in game. You hold that supply is fixed and it is not. You assume most people who buy from auction house/guild store use gold seller bought money. Neither of us have this data so that can't be assumed either. If I can pick my assumption I can prove anything the problem is none of these hold true.

If price go higher supply will increase player will respond to economic force in game. This means supply will increase regardless. Second Gold Seller are like real world governments they can't just print money. They actually have to generate it threw some means which gain falls back to the economic design of the game. I would argue to generate the amounts of the money they sell or to have a meaningful effect on the economy. They would have to play be a part of the economic market which means they would be increasing the supply available. This could be through actually taking part of the market or buying gold from players who are taking part in the market. This would again lead to at least partially counting balancing what inflationary effect they have.

True that inflation will happen wether or not there are gold seller, assuming there's not enough gold sink to balance it. On gold seller situation though, still assuming no gold sink, the inflation goes times faster because there're more gold farmed daily. The power of Gold seller in itself is actually strong enough that to be countered, it needs gold sink at the power where the game would raised protest on non-gold seller situation.

Also no, if price go higher, supply not always increases, not in MMO. That's why i say you're by the book student. Merchants in most MMOs are mostly players that sells things they found, without grinding for it, and the rarer the items the less merchants sell it, although the is higher. This is mainly caused by the nature of RNG, and the amount of costs in times and efforts the merchant need to spend getting that items.

The increase in supply is only fully true for resellable cash shop items, because the nature of resellable cash shop items that doesn't really needs in-game effort and grinding to get. You can easily see this difference on games where both gold seller and resellable cash shop items exist. By comparing the difference in supply between resellable cash shop items and items that can only stocked by in-game mobs grinding, the number of supplies are significantly higher on the resellable cash shop items of the high prices.
    Jb6996 wrote: »

Yes you are right economy theory is about the social analysis of rational behavior. Again you are lacking deeper understanding the most economy drivers are circular. You are right on the surface that people will grind more gold to buy the cash shop items. This is true if the only way they generate gold is by mob dropping gold or gold from quest. If this is the case it goes back to poor game design. This doesn't take into effect that people to generate this gold will get in the market. This again will cause supply to increase which in turn will help counter balance your inflationary claims. Also your assumption is that players doing this will only be spending goal on guild store items. They won't be using this gold on existing money sinks. The fact that guild store and auction house items luxury items this would imply they would be secondary purchases. The real problem is with out actual data both of are arguments are based on just theory.

The basic point still hold MMO economies are designed to fall apart by the nature of the game. In fact it's poor design that cause economic forces to create gold sellers. It wasn't gold sellers who destroyed game economies but bad game economies that created them. Gold seller were the result of a portion of the community being priced out of the market.

In fact ESO is a prime example of this. They addressed the inflationary problem they way the gaming community demands. They put in huge money sinks and low gold generation. This isn't the answer either because this is the market situation that creates gold selling. The real answer is to understand that economies are fluid and need to be completely fluid. Mob drops and merchant cost need to be product of the gold supply in game if you want a true balance.

Actually, the gold sink on ESO right won't be enough to counter the behaviour side effect caused by resellable cash shop items, not to mention gold seller. I can generate 40k-50k gold a day through few hours of solo grinding, with all the costs from gold sink already covered. But, i rarely do it because there's no reason to. Resellable cash shop items will without a doubt give me reason. Gold seller on the other hand, they play to sell gold, they really don't value playing the game itself other than generating golds to be sold on RMT. As such, i can see they can get hundreds of thousands of golds daily, not to mention when they play it on groups and/or using bots, cutting the cost from gold sink significantly.

It's really not me that's by the book. I actually see things more in-depth and through various different perspectives. The fact that you thought all merchants will add more supply with higher demands indefinitely, is showing how shallow the depth of your analysis was :P

7000 players in itself is not lore friendly according to the same logic you use there. In actual, logically speaking, we're all at the most are representing 3 person that escape Coldharbour, one with the prophet and become the hero who fight Molag Bal (remember, only one person on the main story get the power to defeat the Daedric Prince)...while two others escaped after the gate opened by the first one. As it happens, those three dropped on different alliances territories.

Something I would like to see is a vampire specific mount, perhaps the vampire lord form as a mount based form only and only vampire characters can assume, either that or take the form of one of the giant bats as a mount form only. I think that would be preferable to most vampire players as most know the werewolf and the vampire are lures to the game for many players.

Wow again you show what you lack in in depth analysis because you are arguing from a point of belief. One you make assumptions that I have seen the opposite of in MMO markets. A lot of items are made not found that are place in markets. When prices reach certain levels players increase making or farming products. It doesn't happen will all items. I take this from 18 years of playing MMO and selling on auction houses. Your experiences might have been different but again apart from data we are both just pulling from experience.

Second gold sinks have never worked in combating inflation in games. They generally create the same problem inflation does in games by making it harder for causal and new players to advance. The fact you think they are the solution shows are buying into group thought of the internet. The solution would have to be a game that has fluid drop rates for gold and fluid "gold sinks" or a demand side pricing system.

Well lets stay on topic, cash store items able to be sold on markets creates inflation. Honestly I have not seen that when I was playing SWTOR may be I was on the one server that didn't have this happen. SWTOR has very little gold sinks also. Again I might have some how manage to play on servers in all those years of playing MMOs that didn't follow your economic model of MMOs. Again both of our arguments are meaningless without actual data.

I will say you are right some people who don't grind will grind out enough gold to buy the items they want. Just like crafters will make more items to buy the items they want. Again only looking at the portion of the picture that supports your claim. Oh and if people are grinding more they will find more items which they will put on the market. This will increase supply and drive prices down and the increase gold drive prices up. Without hard numbers there is no way to know for sure which will be the more powerful force. I serious doubt you would even notice it.
The thing it would do is increase money coming into the game to pay for servers and development. This is a fact. People willing to spend money on the game will. The problem is non-resellable cash store is it limits your sales to those people. If they are resellable than a person willing to spend money might by items to sell in a guild store which most likely would be bought with gold by a person wouldn't have given cash to the cash store. There is no way around it if items are resellable more will sell. I am done with this discussion because you have your belief structure and will hold to it. I understand your points and while valid are limited in focus. They also only focus on things happen that support your belief structure. Also this isn't the place for this discussion.

I believe anyone who is complaining about the potions and/or soul gems that are in there now, are probably a free sub. But as a member who have been subbed and will continue to pay for eso plus, I would like to see more items that are very hard to find. Like the gold level improvement mats for crafting. I understand the concern about not having things in the crown store to give people un-fair advantages. For example I would say that something like a potion or something to increase exp is not something I want in there. But I think that the meaning of "convenience" that the devs are using is perfect. Things like potions, soul gems, improvement mats, are to make things go a little bit quicker. Not to give un-fair advantage. Its like saying it's not fair for people who have found ways to get more in game gold (looting, stealing, ect) to buy improvement mats, ect from guild stores. If people want to pay real money for it all the power to them!

I think it might be interesting to see non-costume clothing in the crown store. In the vein of the blacksmith/jester costumes but with individual, dyeable items like those you can now steal from dressers and the like. They would have to be fairly cheap, since they wouldn't have much appeal outside the RP crowd, but it could be a good way to increase itemization.

Also, either as an individual piece or a costume, I would like to see this mages guild style robe: Acolyte_Krem.png
