Crown Store Item Wish List

    What i want:

-Class Change (personaly i didnt like the idear of choosing a class from the beginning, i think it would be more fun without the classes but as they are now a part of the game i vote for class change option)

class change would be really weird...
all the unlocks and stuff from previous wouldnt work well with a new class.

Yeah that could be a problem. Luckly for me it is just a wish list and the details wont be my problem
But i would agree there has to be an efford envolved with changing the class, so its nothing you would do every day.

The cosmetic re-customisation is my primary wish as i recently discovered i (again) made a bubu on my latest character

Many have already mentioned these things, but it just shows how important/wanted these things are:

    1) Customization of characters: whether it be a one-time-per-payment offer in the crown store, or through implementing barber shops (or something similar). Many players want to be able to change their appearance in-game, mainly because the colors and details etc can look a bit different, or have overlooked some things (like height and voice). But also, many just want to be able to change small things like adornments, hair, body markings and makeup - to ie match new armor.
    2) Pets: wolf pets, more varieties of cats (there is only one kind of house cat so far, but 4 dogs), flying pets (like ravens or other small birds).
    3) Mounts: a few more exotic ones, like big cats or wolves (but keep it lore friendly!).
    4) Conversion options: we who have the imperial edition can convert any item into imperial style - this would be great if it could be done with other styles as well. I feel that if you're ie a khajiit you should be able to convert your items into khajiit by default - but if this isn't going to be possible, then make it an option through the Crown Store (where each race style costs X amount of crowns).
    5) More emotes: not very important, but could be fun for those who enjoy to RP.
    6) Vanity clothes: there are a few vanity armor packs and clothing available, which is great. But I would like to see some clothing packs, which would fit better for mages.
    7) Player housing: although one of the bigger implementations, I believe it is one of the most important. One of the biggest features of ES have been the possibility of owning a home. If player homes were made in ESO, here is what I think: the house is an empty shell when you buy it, all furnishings etc must be bought seperately (like in the other ES games). There should be different decorative furnishings, and maybe even interact-able ones (like chairs), crafting stations, and inventory (the inventory can either be made separate from the bank, like pack inventory, or an extention of the bank, where you get X amount of extra overall bank space). It should be possible to buy a house in different parts of each alliance, so that players can choose to live where they see fit (ie a bosmer in AD can either choose to live in a tree in Grahtwood, a house in Vulkel Guard, or a house in Dune).

(As a foot note, I feel that the dye system should be extended to shields and weapons. Spending time dying your whole armor black and gold and then having to carry a white and blue shield or a flimsy looking wooden staff isn't very appealing. I know this fits better in another thread, but I just wanted to mention it here as well.)

I like that most items purchasable in the Crown Store are only vanity - I prefer, like many others, that you have to spend time either searching or crafting for armor and weapons. So keep it that way please

Yes, they really do have to please the "peasants". They said that the Crown Store would be customization and convenience items only.

It seems that you do not understand this. Gold, Unbinders, Upgrade Materials, Better Potions and Better Food do not meet this criteria.

They have already pulled potions from the store, changed the values and put them back in because they were too strong. Do you honestly believe they will put in stronger ones?

I am really trying not to be unkind or dismissive, and my apologies if I am coming off that way, but I have to wonder if you understand what the Crown Store is intended to be for in this game (as opposed to any other).

I do understand and I disagree so I'm stating my wish list as requested.
I am not interested in cosmetics or customisation, I am interested in purchasing exclusive items with my Crowns that are the same or better than in game.
If the Crown Store is going to recoup the money lost by ending subscriptions, then convenience and customisation options only, are not going to come close.
They have to offer a wide range of worthy consumables to keep customers coming back on a regular basis. One off costume purchase are not going to cut it.

    - Chest for storage (or a goblin mule that keep your stuff, for example :)
    - I think mercenaries is indeed a good idea
    - Possibility to change the race or the faction, or the name of a character (its a must have, you could also implement this as the Blizzard system, and make player pay for such services).
    - Tickets for the famous-known-to-be Khajit's lottery.
    - More Mounts, not necessarily horses.

I am sure you will come up with something fun ;)

    - No idea if anybody has mentioned it already, but I would love it that disgiuses were treated like VR and crownshop costumes inventorywise. To collect them soaks up a lot of bank space and I need every slot for my four chars.

...and there we come to my main suggestion:

    - More bank space ! Be it just more bank slots, be it a player home with chests, be it something else....I just want more space.

    Besides that:

    - Possibility to change faction, name and visible look (character creation menu) later in game. I would not mind to pay crowns/money for that service. Oh...and I come from the Skyrim modder scene, I feel neglected without having at least 300 hair styles to choose :-)

-My guess is that many people might wish to change race. In the current state of the game the race passives just have to much impact for balance and gameplay and therefore a wrong choice in the beginning might be a reason for regret.

    - I guess for more mounts/pets etc. there are already enough suggestions written down on the last 34 pages of this thread.

    (1) Race/Faction/Gender change and character makeover options. ZOS would make bank with this.
    (2) More bank space for crowns instead of gold -- but don't start increasing junk drops to encourage sales. Inventory management is already a PIA, so you would make tons of cash with this, too.
    (3) XP pots to level alts. I've already done the grind, so let me level up my alts a bit quicker. I don't think it's p2w, though some people do.

I'm a pvper and I like the world. I don't care about cosmetic items and pets, so I won't spend crowns on that stuff. There are probably other players like me looking for a reason to sub and for stuff to spend crowns on.

As previously mentioned numerous times, I would like the ability to change my race and purchase more bank space. There are many other things I would spend crowns on as well but I have already decided that I am not spending one crown or re-subscribing until a race change is offered.

    • Imperial Race only with Imperial Edition

Here are the few things I'd love to see in the Crown Store at some point in the future:
    • Character Appearance Change Tokens - Regretting that crazy hairstyle? Is your nose just not the way you hoped it would be? Maybe you'd like to be a little taller or have more toned posterior? We've all had that moment, about 20 or so levels in to a new character, where something is just nagging at us and we'd love to be able to change it. But that would mean creating a whole new character to fix that cosmetic imperfection. Let's get some Appearance Change Tokens to rid ourselves of that annoying feature that we just can't take our eyes away from.
    • Character Housing - There are so many 'secured' houses in cities like Wayrest which could provide the perfect palette for the decorating aficionado. We can create and color our own armor, purchase horses of many colors and even collect & color the new casual clothes in the game. Let's bring in some basic housing for people to build upon. From small single-room cottages to multi-room manors, both RPers and non-RPers alike have a flare for decorating. And I can just see all the creativity contests that would arise.
    • Block & Tackle/Barding - Whether you're a casual adventurer, a noble or a knight, your mount should be able to match your profession. Call out for some fancy (or not-so-fancy) dress for your faithful steed, cat or guar. Perhaps some metal plated armor for the heavy fighters, leather scaled armor for all those leather-wearing scoundrels or some crystal accented bridles and saddles for the finely dressed caster. Optionally, maybe have barding as a possible crafted component to the light, medium and heavy armor sets.
    • Character Name Change Tokens - Like our characters' appearances, so many of us have had that moment where we regret the character name we chose. Whether it was created on a whim, as a joke or it just took a while for it to sink in that the name we chose sounded dumb, we've all wished there was a way we could right the wrong we inflicted on a beloved character by giving him or her a name like Bit-Fishy-Bob. Oh gods of the Zenimax-Bethesda mythos, please grant us the power to legally change our names.
    • Additional Vanity Clothing - The treat of the very intricate and well-created wedding dress has given us a taste for the beauty of fashion in Tamriel. Let's expand on that with a suit for the gentlemen as well as providing clothing attendees might wear to such an event. We have one finery item in the Crown Store and an assortment of peasant garb collectible through the art of thieving. We need some 'Sunday's Best' clothing; some suits and dresses (or separate pieces) which could be worn to festive occasions or for a night on the town. We're heroes! We should be looking our best!
    • Harvest Containers - Dedicated - For the avid crafter of Tamriel, specially dedicated Harvest Containers (chest, barrel, crate, etc...). Don't want to throw out all the different levels of harvestables you've collected across your characters? Instead of creating a 'mule' character (or 4, like me), stuff all your harvests (metals, food, alchemy ingredients, runes, stones) into a single container for ease of access. No more trying to remember which mule has which components as you fashion that commissioned gear.

Well, now that that's out of the way, I've seen some things bantered about on the forums and in the game which just defy logic as to why people would want them in the game. So, I'm providing a short list of items which I'm hoping will NOT be offered in the Crown Store:
    • Flying Mounts - Just....no. There are very few creatures in Tamriel which would be able to fly and carry a humanoid. None of them should ever be mounts. Can you imagine the heroes of Tamriel astride the great neck of a Titan? Nope, me neither. How about on the back of a giant bat? That would be a disturbing sight. And the idea of anyone flying atop a Netch is just screaming for the Outer Gods to come crashing down with the fist of doom to say NO!
    • PvP Boosts - PvP doesn't need a boost and neither do the players. To provide an advantage only to those who have 'disposable income' would ruin it not only for those who can't afford it but for those who are trying to learn PvP and are suddenly steam-rolled by some character hyped up on Skooma-roids. We already have food and beverage in the game to help boost stats temporarily, we don't need anything else. They would just create worse bullies than already exist in the game.
    • Weapons of Mass Destruction - No one likes the gamer who runs around with their "I-Paid-For-This-So-I-Can-Do-Whatever-I-Want-Sword-of-World-Domination." For pretty much the same reasons as above with the PvP boosts.
    • Emotes - These just don't seem like something that belongs in the Crown Store. Yes, we'd LOVE more emotes, but they should be added to the already-extensive emote list if they're created.

    Gold.

Great idea. The ability to convert crowns to ESO gold would be a great idea.

No. Kill this before it spreads. Buying gold...well. Look at every single game who does it. Fail....
Everything looses its value. People who has everything quits cause they are "done".
Economy ruined and everyone have "best gear".

And goldsellers would interupt ESO again. No thanks. It has been very pleasant to never see gold selling in ESO! (Was in start but they didnt sell anything). I wanna keep that, thanks!

Had enough of that in wow....
WoW economy was alright in the start and at release of each expansion. Today wow is get the best stuff = norm. Gold with credit card and go Auction house for all you need. This is the main reason why the economy is really cool in ESO. No AH and players seams to not buy gold =).

In ESO everything has a value, for different reasons =).

Convert Crowns to Subscription fee though! That be good!

Would that be possible in the store? (So I can use my crowns on something)

    OHai!
I have a few answers for you along with my own comments.

    Character Appearance Change Tokens
Barber shop is coming with promised tatues and stuff. This was first talked about coming in game before the store....but people kept asking for it in store so ZoS said yes and coming soon.

    Why pay dollar for it?

    Character Housing
Been asked 10 times a week for years lol
ZoS said no plans for launch, but been "we talking about it but it will take quite alot of time".
We all want this but how?

    ZoS said somewhere along:
We want to do player housing but have no designed how. They want to do it, but do it right.
Last year they also said don't expect housing before the first year or two.

    Block & Tackle/Barding
So you asking for a AI teammate that can craft and give you everything you need? And train on it?
Why play? Might sound harsh but this is exactly what MMOs dont need.

    Character Name Change Tokens
Sure, but illegal name you get changes. Just report yourself if it violates the rules. Included in game...
Any name is kinda the char you are. Just like race. Shouldnt need or would change that, would ruin you? (Just make a blank copy to a new char?)

This would hurt more then help, even those who might want another name. Got 8 char slots!

Alliance change... MAYBE! Expensive and timer like once every 6 months? Traitors can be found in all societies =)

    Additional Vanity Clothing
They added 2 times already and more coming. There is even a fashion contest you can enter to get your suit in game! So big yes and in game already =)
ZoS been very positive on this and I THINK they said "lots more....we just need to make it".

    Harvest Containers - Dedicated
Stacks goes to 200 and this would mess with storage slots. The limit isnt to harm anyone but keep stuff valuable. Which they are even a year in! Nice idea but not really needed.

Nice that you see the reason to not put mats in store!

(Secret! Most players creates a guild and get 9 more to join...then use that bank as their own. Not very nice but legal. Ssshh. Dont tell anyone!)

    Flying Mounts
ZoS said no. Over and over. The reason is very sound. Players don't want it either. Even those who think they do. (Flying makes the world smaller since you fly everywhere). Shrines are doing the transport job really well. And dragons are not around yet! 2000 years until they come!

Flying mounts are really only is for comfort and "fast forward". Better to make it instant like shrines and Cyro enter then. Flying things are nice to look at but pretty much shrinks the world to the places you touch ground in. Boring as hell flying everywhere with the mount. You don't even think about it now =).

A flying pet you don't ride maybe?

    PvP Boosts
This is dangerous for the MMO. Items that increases players power and by doing so, removes the need for rewards in game is a MMO killer. By buying for cash what you need effects all in the game. Not only the player who buys.

Good intentions but very bad and unwanted effects.
It's like putting candy and soda machines in a school. Know its bad and get warned but lots gets bad teeth and grow fat! Human nature....

It is kinda nice to sit here with the community and not a lot because everyone are playing something else?
Big reason why other mmo falls in numbers so fast i is related to speed to be everywhere, done everything and got most stuff. The fun part is playing! Weird huh? =)

Buying what you need, when you need for cash might be nice for players who comes to play a month or two, but please no. It is nice to have us here now right? :-p

Getting stuff isn´t that hard....if you try =)
    Crafting everyone can do....

There are comfort items already that are on the line and had a bad effect in game already. Food buff sales by players have gone down to very low, since you can buy buffs in the store for cash.
If it stops there. Fine....but no more stuff that replaces in game things!

You do get rewards from pvp too...and from playing (sheesh!)

Scroll back in this thread and you see quite a lot against putting any kinds of player power in shop to pay. This becomes the norm very fast just like Food, potions and soul gem started to do. All in shop.
Food sales is pretty dead... :-(

Very important to keep pvp rewards so you earn them. Make more rewards but earn in game. You can buy all kinds of stuff for AP so its really a non issue. Unless someone plans on buying their char and not play ^^

    Emotes
Zos have done this for us several times this year! Lots of player emotes in game. Why do you want to pay for them? They promised to do more but it takes time. It is kinda cool how most emotes are players =) (free!)

They also made jerkins cause we asked. Ask for more (Housing please!)

Why should we start paying crowns for emotes?

Hope this answered a few things.

This is more about the subscription, but involves the store. Could those who are on subscription not get in game crownstore ads?

That's what I call real value. I am very ok with the ads. Need to sell stuff but hey...you sub, you dont get spam :-p
There have been in-game crown store ads?

I'm OK with it being on the launcher, but in-game...
    *shivers*
How appalling... particularly for subs who are dishing over their money anyway. When did such a thing occur?

I'm sorry but I don't get it, why people keep asking for bank space when you can buy bank space with in game coins? Or it is that the game bank space have a limit when you unlocked all the space that there is to buy?

Agree. I have put all of my extra gold into buying bank space. I'm up to a comfortable 210 slots. Selling bank space for crowns would give an unfair advantage because it frees up gold resources to be used for other things.

And when are we going to see some more new stuff at the crown store? I thought Zenimax would be putting stuff in there every week! I unsubscribed, but am willing to spend real money for DLC and certain other items. I would have expected you to try to tempt your players with at least one or two new things each week just to generate some revenue.

Yes! I am bored with seeing the same old things in the crown $hop that I wouldn't even bother spending any of my crowns on. In fact, I have so many crowns saved at this point, I am considering unsubbing for a while. Zo$, you know what we want, stop lollygagging and add it already! :P

All consumable and convenience items from the store to be tradeable to other players.
Put something worthwhile in the store and stop ***-footing around with this introductory fluffy stuff.
You do not have to please all the peasants who want nothing but Haircuts and Manicures.

Yes, they really do have to please the "peasants". They said that the Crown Store would be customization and convenience items only.

If you are intereseted in p2w games, there are plenty of them out there, I for one have no intentions of staying with this game if it ever went p2w. By that I mean, the ability to buy something in cash that helps you in-game. The only things that I would like to see are cosmetics, pets, housing, barbers, tattoos, social and anything that just adds to the experience without adding to your characters XP.

...Tell us what sorts of goods and services you would like to see offered in the Crown Store...

    Hey, @ZOS_GinaBruno!

Here's a "service" request: Tamriel Divorce!

I'd certainly be down for spending some Crowns for a 'divorce' and then another Pledge of Mara. (lol -seriously)

for travel and hunt in the wilderness (adding spear skill line in future patches or DLC would be nice too)

    and something like this:

    for visiting towns ;)

Also "re-customization" ticket would be handy.
