regarding the armour being shiny..I can't say anything against it...but I think a better solution is that it should be shiny so long as it is abouve a certain durability percentage, and get texture layers (scuffs etc) added as it loses durability...just an off the hip thought.
I also think this could fall under the category of dyes...since the dyes are actually a shader or at the least different versions/settings of a shader...so again selling dye :)

I wish we could at least buy some of the real pain in the ass to get dyes like Grand Overlord Violet or Indomitable Violet (complete 1500 quests.

Do that many even exist...?), but possibly even more exciting would be if they offered all new dyes through it, maybe they could use the dye system as a means to have armor shine, with a good -shiny- dye of major colours (Red, Blue, Yellow/Gold, Silver (of course), Purple/Violet, Brown, and Green).

    1. Please, please consider an item or costume that allows a person to take on the werewolf form for longer than a few seconds. This costume should *NOT* give access to abilities (meaning it would be 100% completely cosmetic.) Additionally, it could be made available only to those who have the skill line, so as not to let everyone have it necessarily. It could be a costume that you can only wear out of combat or something to that effect, or maybe an item that turns you for x amount of minutes (but please, don't give silly cooldowns.) There are so many ways to do this! Another option would be to allow those with the in-game werewolf skilline to have a toggle, allowing them to change into a werewolf at any time.

The reason I ask for this is for purposes of those who roleplay a werewolf. As of right now, our only option is limited to a few seconds, and that's about it.

    2. More variety on companion pets, like wolves, cats, foxes, rats, ferrets, etc.

    3. Proper CLOAKS and capes, for examples, see the ones in Game of Thrones show or in the Lord of the Rings series. They should actually cover you, not just be a flap of fabric at your back.

Also, it torments me how there are awesome silver werewolves (rare, special cases) and black werewolves, but player werewolves can't have either of the two looks, so to some extent fur dye would be nice to make werewolf players be able to actually have more choice than dirty fur or white fur. :P

...And I know what is probably planned for either the 9 months or the 12 months subscribed loyalty reward is, but can't you make at least a more standard, ordinary looking Senche mount for the Crown Store, then leave the loyalty reward one to be black or whatever?

I agree with the current armor looking as if our fighters do not understand how to care for it. I want crisp, clean looking armor, not something that has the appears of dirt and scuffs one it.

Ah, thank you, outside support, because a single voice really doesn't get heard for anything large scale like this that may affect many players. ^^'

Even if to appease whiners of that it was too shiny (...Just why... >.<) it be some Gameplay option to make it either a slider bar to make it lean or be all the way toward gritty and dull or with a lustrous shine.

Let it be possible to be a knight in shining armor if one wants to be, don't pigeonhole players into this...look. Not pleasant to have such questionable things forced on oneself.

I happen to be a very aesthetic player, I try to look as nice as I can with my armor, so here's to hoping for 1.6 to make a clean, crisp armored look (at least for those who want that...) to the Live megaserver(s). /leanbackcoin xD

You know, I like the idea of the "luster slider"... but personally, I would prefer there being a squire in each stable that you can pay to clean your armor. After a period of time the armor gets dirty and gritty, then you can get it cleaned again. The cost to clean your armor would be based on the level of the armor.

Thank you for making me laugh

And now for something completely different...
I don't really see the allure of taking a loved pet out with me on a dangerous adventure, but as a good honest redguard woman I wouldn't mind a travelling goat as a possible companion, at least the option. If for nothing else I'm sure it would prove to be a better listener than some other 'companions' I won't speak of just now...

Sorhab here in the Alik'r has the right idea, and he seems a sensible sort.
    Sorhab%20and%20his%20goat_zpsmwwvajj3.png
(forgive the painting, it was storming sands at the time)

Furthermore, I really don't know about this 'hound' rubbish. I think it's money-hungry, self-proclaimed breton highbrows from Daggerfall trying to swindle the trusting commoner out of some coin by saying hounds are hardy, oft companions of my kin the redguards and should be sort after! Even a drunken smuggler knows the goat is a far preferable option; one just has to wander the sands (take much water); the evidence is out there for all to see! Honestly, if you're out in the desert and dying of thirst you can't milk a hound now, can you. No, of course not.

I might even purchase one if the loyal redguard goat was available, maybe two! Best be quick if the Crown Store merchants would like to capitalize on this stellar idea though. For I let it slip to Sorhab, and now he's thinking of starting a wild-run farm to breed some up, probably at Goat's Heat Oasis for obvious reasons. So you have been warned.

I am really not interested in another reason to have to return to a community in the middle of gaming. My character is a warrior, he knows how to clean his own armor...and he would rather do that himself than to walk/ride back to town every other night to pay someone to do it.

How about in addition to the armored knights costumes, make a Paladin set. This could be Redguard, Orc, and Nord armor sets. I call it Paladin because Paladins in lots of other lore are against magic usage. And the three races of Redguard, Orc, and Nord are known to be against the usage of magic and instead prefer melee. Put that together with their heavy armor and you have Paladins.

if i could add one more thing, on the wish list:

make our monthly crown loyalties -count-. Most games, your monthly stipend is not enough for nearly anything of note, so you always need to buy more. And more, and more crowns. Which evidently leads you to drop your sub, because let's face it, it is a rip off. Please do not go there :)

    This.

Again, Lord of the Rings Online used their "VIP" monthly virtual currency allowance to subscribers the way drug dealers offer you a "taste" of whatever drug they're pushing.

Click the buy more shinies button and you're presented you with a best deal quantity price of 400 bucks.

But Gina, you asked for what we want, not our MMO trauma flashbacks.

I'd like to see some of items that have zero tactical value but are ludicrously rare in the game. Two examples come to mind:

    1. Hood of the Voidguide - the Ashlander headpiece. A novelty or roleplaying piece of clothing.

    AndalaAshlander_zps36a39c32.png

    3. Encasement of Anguish. The Anguish set is the Dark Seducer costume broken into pieces as armor rather than as a costume. This is the chest piece.

    What%20Type%20of%20Daedric%202_zpstbtc6xgr.png

Okay, so I have a third that does not exist in the game:

    3. Costumes that show some leg.....a skirt or a slit in a long skirt. A slit in a skirt can't hurt.

This game doesn't care if you show cleavage or bare bellies while walking like you're advertising your services as a Nightflower. Why this thing with covering legs? You can't expose most everything else and still call it armor. It's clothing.

Closest we have is this and it's meant for Argonians....and has that strange strap around the thigh:

    Andala%20Argonian_zps5r4flii4.png

    Many thanks

Styleconverter for weapons and armor. Basicly let you convert an item to a style that you can currently craft. Im an altmer, a patriotic one at that. I would love to be able to convert all my looted sets (warlock, adroitness etc) into my racial style. In-character I dont like wearing other racials styles. And maybe also turn them into a tunic/skirt instead of it being a robe. I dont like wearing dresses.

I don't really care, but I can tell you what you should not do.

Provide nothing that breaks lore or is just plain silly i.e. no unicorn heads or holiday themed items.

Do not offer items that make the game easier or give advantage. Part of the rewards in playing involve trying to find motifs or earn costumes through progression, costumes kills that motivation.

Mounts, if i see a single person riding a dragon, giant mudcrab or wamasu you will have failed.

Just don't break the lore, the immersion of the game for the sake of crowns.

Make sure that subscibers don't have to pay for new DLC, we made a contract, honor it.

if i see 1 pumpkin head on a toon im out.
  • qiyamatawilrwb17_ESO
    birds of prey vanity pets.

please limit the mount types.. nothing out of lore. horses, camels, elephants even perhaps as far as guar. but ride-able monsters is daft.

    re-customizing and re-naming

    faction changes

    character slots.

more custom visual options, weapons, shields, mounts, vamp/WW (give vamps back visible tattoos)

    no daft costumes.

no rep boosts or instant gains.

ps. shoulder and helm armor is starting to go to the side of impractical and cartoonish from what i have seen of the endgame gear. i guess players want to show off their status but sometimes i cringe at the look of my toons geared for stats.

    things i would not want:

    - lockboxes/lottery items. Including covert types, such as buy 5 and guranteed one amongst them, whereas buying one there is a "chance to"

    - limited time offers, usually preeminent when a financial Quarter is nearing, and tadaa, the surprise. Liited time offering of said item that is two times better than anything else you sold before it. And people bought. Already. Reasons being obvious

    things i would want:

    - recipes. Yes, recipes.
Crafting can be fun. I am aware the ZOS team is a touch behind on said factor, but to give an example (sorry i am being so sarcastic all the time, call it a disappointment), and an example from an MMO i dislike. Even they do this better:
    Savory deviate delight
    Noggenfogger elixir, etc

    - Mounts designed with specific item sets in mind!
Important distinction, because while every store and their mother (am so funny) sells mounts, you would not believe how hard it is to have a mount matching your current armour. One mount for each high tier PvE and PvP set, one mount for each colour preference. Say you currently have armour dyed red. What would you match it with? Nothing currently. This is your line of thinking

    - In terms of armour "skins", non-glowy, realistic appearances. Not everyone likes to have 4 (3 green and one white) disco balls revolving around them 24/7. In the words of Robin Williams, even a blind gay man would go "jeesus!". Some of us are a touch older

    - Experience halters (zero XP in PvE, zero in RP). Completionists and RPers alike could use them, while you benefit from their sales. Lotro did this. EQ2 had a whole system that allowed you to halt your XP. You too are a lore heavy, story-driven MMO. Add these at the least

    - I would love, love, love to see backpacks, satchels, et al. Not cloaks, not capes. No one goes to fight with a cloak billowing on his back, take this from a veteran, lol. But you could add backpacks/satchels. For starters, they have no physics, so should be easier for you to implement, and apart from that, they too add a "realistic" touch to our appearance, which i believe you too are striving for.

i dunno re. cloaks. the breton rogue-like character in the game's media is rocking a ranger style hooded cloak. a cloak for weathering the outdoors id like to see. nothing like count dracula with retro lapels though please!
might backpacks look a little too military?
