I love the mystery boxes from The Secret World. Funcom says they are the best-seller. It's like playing the lottery, but it is something fun to do with extra coins.
I DO want the mystery boxes. On the plus side, those that do not like them are not required to purchase them. Easy right?

Please, keep that out of the cash shop.

I would add gear and consumables shouldn't be superior to what we can craft too; if players can buy superior and legendary items in the crown store better than what I can craft, then what's the point of crafting?
nothing?
every "convinience" item in the store, per defenition, requires there to be "inconvinience" in the game.
I'd seriously prefere a game without designed-in inconvinience...

I'm about 84% sure this post is sarcasm, but I feel like the rest of the class needs to know why.
The reasons mystery boxes sell is because there are things inside of them that you don't get elsewhere. These things start out as more useless versions of other items plastered with duck stickers and then once you've hit mystery box version 103 you are rolling for that unique gold weapon that shoots through walls, that totally is not over powered because only 8 people have them. The first five of them got it on their first try so they could tell the forums about it and the last three spent $20,000 on mystery boxes because they have gambling addictions and through some biological anomaly are able to poop solid gold nuggets.
Forgive, not sarcasm. I purchase the mystery boxes from TSW as I said. I only purchase them when I have left over points. I like the rewards, while they are items that can be gained in game, they are also items that I usually do not get. So the mystery boxes in TSW gives me a chance to win something that the RNG usually denies me.
As for the latter, I have not heard of anyone having those kinds of issues with a purchase from a game store; however, if they are, they should seek professional assistance as it cannot be healthy.

my wishlist:
consumables-
1. repair (hammers, cannisters, stones whatever...)an instant repair kit
2. teleportation runes, stones, again whatever
3. instant research tokens/tickets(immediate research of one item, consumes one token)
4. limited uses shipping flacon/pack mule whatever that will sell your goods in town...like a pet with 5 charges or something, that can carry 20 clots and go sell for you...no need to stop adventuring.
fashion-
1. Dye or the ability to buy dye colors
2. to not have any stupid motorcycle mounts or guns introduced in the game ever.
account-
1. additional bank slots
2. additional inventory slots(this is a per character thing I guess)
3. additional character slot
4. cashout crowns for in game gold....not vice versa, that is just asking for trouble.

I think it is of utmost importance to maintain the integrity of in-game economy and hence your long term player demographic. You can easily lose the bulk of your player base and destroy new players from entering into the game by committing this one fatal mistake. I do not mean to Beat around the bush in explaining but I must give an analogy to explain what and why I give this dire warning about said phenomenon. Even if you think I am probably a stupid crackpot who knows nothing about the field of econ I still urge you to (at least) consider my warning.
When Perfect World came out (even though they were F2P) they had much the same philosophy about cash shop items (nothing that could give an advantage i.e. no P2W). However, they made an unassuming change to their Cash shop model (inadvertently) which destroyed that game for nearly all high lvl players and blocked new players from a smooth entry into the game. This change came on their one year anniversary of the game and has been referred to (unaffectionately) as the Anni Pack. Only the oldest PW players (from 2008-2009) will fully understand the damage this pack created. Let me give you the basic breakdown, Gold in the game went for 100K coins for 1 Zen piece (prior to the anni pack)and it had remained fairly stable after the initial launch fluctuation (on its path to equilibrium of 100K) until it hit 3-5M coins per zen. Now this change was not gradual so the cause was evident. We had on one night 100K for 1 Zen which had remained quite stable for a year yet 4-5 hours later (when I woke up after the patch) the cost of gold had already reached 1.5 Million. Within the week it hit 3.5 Million and has remained at that level to this day (at it's peak I think it hit 5M give or take) The only major change which had occurred over this 4-5 hour period was the Anni Pack. But since correlation is not causation I can also explain the causal mechanism of why this happened. They gave players a cash shop item which had a potential for a 5M dollar reward (based on the winning items value in game) but they sold it for 1 Dollar (i.e. 1 zen=1 real world dollar if I remember my currency ratios). Basically they sold an item worth 5M in game for a potential cost of 100K Gold/1 Zen in currency exchange. They failed to recognize player motivation to sell for what the item was worth not the items cost. Players sold this item for 1.5 M (that next morning) hence why the value of 1 Zen (cash shop currency) for 100K gold (game currency) went to 1.5M gold over a 4-5 hour time period.
This not only destroyed the value of existing players gold currency but also stopped new players from progressing (hence they couldn't afford to purchase new gear from players since costs had inflated drastically but the revenue stream didn't change at all). Next all the mats regularly sold for dungeon runs, etc... (which were a huge source of player money) dropped in price while the cash shop items rose in price. For instance, one highly sought after TT (Twilight Temple) item went from 2M to 600K gold while cash shop items simultaneously went from 100K/zen to 5m/zen. This is not the only item but every last mat followed this same result. To break it all down, it destroyed every existing players wealth, new players ability to gain wealth, use of available resources, etc. While this may have provided a boom to the game in the immediate time being it destroyed the amount of people who added revenue to the game. In the end it was worse for PW to make this move. Please consider your cash shop items very wisely and always remember how they affect the in-game economy.
A skill point reset. Some players are against this, but I am not good enough to get everything right the first time. I would like a chance to fix my mistakes. Even if it is just trading one skill for another it would be of use.

This is well written, but please use paragraphs and layout so people will read this.

You know you can respec your skills at the Shrine of Stendar right? A full respec or just reset your morphs even. It just costs money.

Where is the Shrine of Stendar? I know there is a way to do this currently; however, I have no idea where it is or if I have enough gold to pay for it.
