Notice also that had non crash on Glenumbra but in Stromhaven i had many crashes in past days. :-(

Hey guys i have noticed! That my lags are almost gone. I log off, close client, and log in every single time, when i enter to whole new area.(like im at deshaan travel to stonefalls) key lag, "team mate takes super leap forward" spells frozen, only one hand light attack, looks bit weird sometimes?

noticed all scheduled updates on any prog, may cause game crash/lag (your firewall/antivurus scheduled updates must be turned off

Guys, when everyone in a zone lags at the same time it is related to the server / infrastructure. Not necessarily your computer.

Is this issue going to be responded to?

I know its not my computer, the game has run smoothly in the past.

and I can play lots of other higher demanding online games without problem

Yea, its the server and gameclient with all its patches.
The Beta server worked very well, all those people testing the game, the starting areas where full of crazy players running around, but the game worked.
Every new patch makes the game worse.

The really bad issues for me seems to be in public dungeons and not necessarily when they are busy.
There is will be down to 1 frame every 5-10 seconds sometimes and suddenly find myself dead with no control and no knowlege of what really went on.

In PVE world outside, its generally interact failure, combat freeze, animation freeze. This I can now always put down to peak time. At 1am in the morning I have no issues.

Not good enough to solo public dungeons though....so you need to enter when people are online too.

I have always lag in cyrodiil prime time. I played for AD on Haderus. I can feel the lag in different way; normally its my abilitiy bars not working, greyed out. Other timers the world is caught in the same animation and I can keep running around - sometimes the game 'catches up' other times it takes too long and I have to alt+f4.

The lag is there and its real and its making cyrodiil if not unplayable then unenjoyable.

Imo the lag spikes that I experience every now and then are not related to crowded areas. What I get is unresponsiveness of interaction objects, which can last for like a minute. This could happen for instance when activating a door to leave a house, or opening a chest. More serious is when it happens when you try to activate an ability while in combat. Character can still move a round (ASWD) in such a situation but no activation of anything is possible.

Is there some doubt on the part of ZOS that this is not a server wide issue that is happening? There are times in PVP and during open world questing where multiple people are all spamming chat at the same time saying "OMG LAG SPIKE."

My question is, is this still being worked on? The post above makes it seem like it is a client side issue when from observation this is most certainly not the case.

Please let us know if you guys are working on some technical enhancements or if there is something related to the hardware, or what exactly. It is extremely annoying to have to deal with this lag at prime time and have 0 new information from you guys about it for weeks.

You already have our money and no one is threatening to quit ^^ Please just give us an update or ETA or what priority this is for you guys and we can leave you alone & quit posting in this thread.

i got like 2-6 seconds delay on swapping weapons 1 to set2 in out of combat situations.
when i play as tank, i hardly encounter any lags.
when i play as dps, the system reply to my actions in 1-2 seconds.
when i play heal, the system reply to my action in 2-4 seconds.
my rig is competive, my inet connection is fastest aviable.

same here with low ping, hardcore hardware. it is on their side not ours.

    Basic stuff i don't mind. My Real life clan mates seem to care always after, great 3 hours experience, after their day jobs. Several wipes on dungeon runs.
    
    ( I can't heal because bugs, group functions wont work, they can't do dps time to time. Because wont deploy spells. Wont swap weapons/delayed. They take huge leaps to everywhere, because server lags. Wont update on real time, so i can't keep up with them and heal. Trying to travel to player ends up to random spot.)
    
    So they just said, not fun anymore, 6 months and still same damn problems exist. stressful and annoying game as it is now, to be as an "free time hobby, what is fun and Social with friends"
    
    I have still fate to this game, and i think only thing what cancels my sub is F2P.
    
    i have hard time to explain myself that other clans wont think like ours did, or do they?

Ya, I am having latency issues with combat. also I cant mine ore sometimes coz it doesnt seem to register that any is there.

I've been experiencing lag spikes in the last two weeks, this is very uncommon for me. On my end there are no apparent problems, I've even forwarded every port for the game, and the only online game that seems to be suffering from this is ESO.

The problem with latency persist for 2 weeks already. It seems to some packets are lost on ge-6-3.car1.Frankfurt1.Level3.net, see my WinMTR output below.

Returned to the game after a 3 week break due to early burn out on Vet grind and the game is wholly unplayable for me in the EU server. I am continually hitting times when I cannot interact with anything (i.e. no abilities work, cannot change weapons, cannot roll, cannot loot). This leads to continually death and removes the desire to give the Vet grind another go.

On one such occasion I was then kicked from the game with a message along the lines that I had exceeded my message limit and there was being logged out to prevent spam... I had not sent a single message that session.

ignore log off message, some error has occurred , it seems it finds some random/closest reason what has happen to game session and informs it to you. message limit has nothing to do with this problem like you said. some smarter than me can answer for that question, why this exact message pops up.

EDIT: there will be patch 1.4.3 most likely this week or next week, what should fix some of the problems on interact/combat system

What is it going to take for you to FIX the EU servers unresponsiveness???
Back to the earlier August type issues, hit a button - 10s later you are dead when the server finally get it's finger out!

they just said they reboot/maintenance on Thursday/Friday, and aim to push 1.4.3 live next week they give us exact date soon.

I've had horrible lag and auto log outs with no error code.......
The game has logged me out 10 times in the past 3 hours!

Logged on yesterday , went to char screen, selected char , landed in cyrodiil and instantly crashed out to desktop (not anywhere near peak time).
Played throughout the night and multiple crashes ...some straight to desktop and some with the screen freeze and have to reboot and task manager even becomes unresponsive on my other screen although I can logout if I restart task manager again for options.

So I've been playing a bunch of PVP the last week and I can say that I have a consistently bad time with a few spots of sunshine.

The Latency issues are there and I've asked the zone on multiple occasions if they are experiencing the same. Many have answered that they do.

I can see that this problem has been going on for a while and I'm just making my voice heard to tell you that it is still there. I'm sure you're loosing players because of this and it needs to be properly adressed.

I love the pvp in general, but not being able to play to my ability because of the lag is really hurting the feeling.

Hope you guys are working on it and if there's anything I/we can do to help in the investigation, please tell me

You have to many new players again.

Call your IT manager, and tell them to add more to the datacenter.
When he tells you that the licenses costs to much, ask him to take your job for a day.

The next day we have a running server......

Apart from the crashed SOME people have in Cyro, several been reporting SERVER LAG. That is when you do lag, but so does everything around you. It starts again and you are not dead!

Servers, Vmware, network, Microsoft OS, others software licenses and a NEW oracle database to handle HIRELING MAILS, would be nice.

Let us SAVE our hirelings mails! :-(

I played some PVE today, no big troubles..only two off my group m8's was invisible lol.
But when i entered PVP a lot worse, big lag, and i had 3 dc in maybe 2 hours.
One time it just automaticly logged me too char selection.

I started playing today but I have not been able to get past the tutorial due to lag spikes and latency issues. It is so bad it causes the quest to glitch so that I have to delete my character and start over.

I was so excited to play ESO and I am extremely disappointed. I have opened a support ticked and I hope to get a response and have this issues solved.

Server from hell again, when is someone going to fix the fact that the Frankfurt datacentre is grossly under specced for the game & buy some servers to fix the d/c, lag spikes and other server related crashes...

Or is the EU too small a market for ZOS???

Just so we are clear that the issue is your datacentre over 100 traces to it the rtt is 49-50ms, no loses, no indicators that any part of the route is varying my much (49-66ms max) but the server is booting people off!

It really is time to get IT professionals and put the marketeers that are running the show out to pasture!
