correct. until they remove ae caps, those are your only 2 options.

Or stick to PvE... even on low pop servers you run into these blobs, albeit on a smaller scale.

giving up pvp isnt a solution for me, its the only decent endgame in eso.

the pve people do what? farm AA and HRC all night? that sounds awful

i was in some dc Awaken guild that farmed trials all night, but i couldnt take them seriously. they are 15 minute dungeons, how can that be your endgame?

I get a character to Vet 12, do all the PvE content (if it's repeatable I do it once), then I start a new character. That's what I mean by PvE :P

this is the state of PvP. thornblade... crap! I mispronounced it!! I MEAN Impulse zerg mode, is as my name of it suggests. mostly impulse spamming zergs. I only played 5 hours of it, and I got sick of it. all you can do in PvP right now, is play impulse zerg mode, or play one of the low pop campaigns:( quite a shame in my opinion. ah well. complaining on the forums wont fix it. guess I can pop in to bow of shadows and MAYBE impulse zerg mode every few hours or so just to see whats going on:/

For a guy with what seems like a decent amount of pvp experience (from your sig) you don't really seem to get zerg busting in this game is very, very possible as Hazardous pointed out. Bomb group, caboom, profit.

my guild has more eso zerg bombing videos out than any other i have seen.

we arent talking about individuals here, we are discussing the betterment of the game.

whether its possible to farm zergs doesnt affect the fact that "the blobbing will continue until ae caps are removed"

also, the concept that "blob groups are bad" cannot be answered with "so why dont you make one?" lol

Blobbing is a legit strategy. If Truman thought it would save troops' lives, he'd drop impulses everywhere.

While it is legit, as in not considered cheating/exploiting, it is a flaw of the game.
Target caps enables the existance of an "optimum strategy".
What this means is that everything else besides using blobing is suboptimal / not viable. It makes for a shallow game with a low skill ceiling.
Both of which are bad for long term appeal and player retention.

And that's only one of the handful of reasons why arbitrary target caps are a bad design decision.

But thankfully, they are having internal discusions about removing it.
This latest patch is cool and Zos seems on the right path for many aspects of the game, so I am confident they will correct their mistake.

My god what a mess this server is , drop down to yellows..... impulse blob, over to blues.....impulse blob. Its now getting ridiculous as you cant actually get any normal pvp and in the end people just leaving the grp not bothering.

Most have said to me that if this isn't fixed and fixed fast then the unsub button will be hit and what a shame such a beautiful game being spoiled by mindless trains running around practically unstoppable. Its a testament to these trains that a scroll has yet to be taken by any alliance on Thornblade EU because the choke points to take them are impassable .

ZoS , you said the team was looking at this so where is the action on it?? How long do we have to suffer this ??

They've said they're looking into it....Don't know why it was put in the game in the first place, since we have a game that shows exactly what happens when ya having AOE caps (Guild Wars 2)

The issue here is crucial
There are about ~100 persons running around in blobs, busses, trains or whatever you want to call it, and they are really really successful.
There are about 2000 people in the campaign trying to just play the game to their utmost according to thier classes and they are standing no chance versus the blobs in order to obtain AP's and so on.

I dont mind the blobs, i mind/miss a way to make their life miserable, this has to happen in order to keep pvp vitalized.

Only blobb-free campaign would be Blackwater Blade. Lowbies can't have level 38 destruction staff.

Some of these blobs are good. I wiped 30 with my VR1 DK and another person on a keep flag.
