Blackreach is already dead. It's been dead. Nothing has seriously been done to bring it back and that also has not and it will not happen organically either. It gets passed around and people are constantly in and out of factions. I'm not sure whets left there worth saving tbh. At first, I wasn't in favor of sunsetting the place but its either that or watch it continue to die a slow death, neglected with 1 dominant faction at a time and over half the best players going there for whatever reason.

The rewards from the first 30 or so ranks include Vengeance-specific things (build perks), in addition to a handful of cosmetics or consumables. Veterancy can be earned in any PvP mode by earning AP (or significantly slower with XP in PvP zones)
The stream also said that those first 30 ranks would level very quickly, and then it would slow down.

They should leave Grey Host as alliance locked, and keep Blackreach as non-alliance locked

That will make sure all bases are covered for players who prefer standard PVP vs the toned down Vengeance campaign

Hi! This is my feedback on Templar class masteries.
It is my understanding that class masteries are meant to bridge the gap between subclassing and pure classes, at least until reworks are complete. In this regard, as it relates to PVP subclassing currently covers to major holes in the Templar toolkit: good access to major brutality/sorcery and major savagery/prophecy, as well as reliable burst.
Right now there are 2 excellent subclass skill lines that are the best for this purpose, from what i can see most templars seem to use them as well: Animal Companion and Ardent Flame.
Animal companion gives us the netch for major sorcery(and some extra sustain), shalks(aoe burst skill that lines up nicely with jabs and ultimates like crescent and dawnbreaker). It also gives a fantastic movement ability in wings.
Ardent Flame has whip deals massive damage(burst), incinerate for major savager/prophecy, and hearth of flame for sustain.
With that in mind.
Did Class Mastery help in providing a meaningful boost to power for playing as a solo class?
Yes and no, and let me explain skill by skill:
Bastion of Light: No notes, looks solid altho i dont feel like templar needed a significant bump in defenses.
Devout Guardian: Can't see this being used that much in pvp, the average 30k hp build gets a 3k damage shield that breaks on the first light attack that grazes us.
Bright Harbinger: Honestly this passive seems decent, but boring and again does nothing to help with the issues pure templars are facing. I'd much rather like this passive provide Major Sorcery and 300 weapon and spell damage, or maybe the 600 for us. It would not make it much more powerful, however it would definetly plug at least 1 hole left by not sublassing.
Judgment’s Brand: The initial value of 2000 with potentially a 100% uptime was too strong, but these values are just bad for pvp. Also does nothing to help Templars lack of burst when pure classing. My suggestion here is to massively increase the amount flat damage added. but also tack on an appropiate cooldown. You can tinker with the values so it's still solid for pve, while providing Templars an interesting new burst opportunity.
Steadfast Candescence: Boring, uninspired, i dont remember ever having tankiness issues on plar. Also Draconic Power already provides a flat 10% block amount passive, so this just looks utterly weak. A much more interesting approach would be to extend the block window provided by the restoring light passive that activates on channeled and cast time skills. Or just a completely different passive.
Do you feel this system helps in allowing for more player agency in a post subclassing play environment?
As it stand for Templar, i do not see this as giving more agency, as most of these passive are just small/moderate power boosts with no interesting gameplay element added, and do nothing to address to aforementioned issues with templars in pvp.
What are the things you like about Class Mastery?

It was probably the AI ZOS is using. It's banned a lot of people automatically for much less. I know someone who got AI banned for typing "flag" while in the heat of battle, but accidentally left the letter "l" out of the word. For them the ban was especially nonsensical given that the word he accidentally spelled does have a meaning that isn't necessarily inappropriate when used in the proper context.
So ya, beware the juvenile AI ZOS uses. It's not grown up yet and makes a lot of mistakes.

Some more thoughts on the individual Sorcerer passives after testing for all the night. It's more about bugs and lacking interactions.
Sphere of Influence
I was surprised to see that only one of these extra wards can exist at a time. The tooltip makes me believe any shield I cast produced one additional ward. On the PTS; these wards are capped at 25% max health, while in the patchnotes it says capped at 15%. Since we can only have one ward, a 15% cap would make this entirely useless. So I hope the 25% is true.
The talent lacks interactions with most things. Namely Daedric Refuge, which does not create a ward; neither on cast nor (more importantly) on allies picking up those runes. That seems like a missed upportunity to make Sorc tanks and healers somewhat interesting again. Warding Burst from the scribing altar, when turned into a damage shield, applies the extra shield to allies and pets, but not to self. (Still testing this. It sometimes shows that it applies it and sometimes not. Just a bug I think.)
The ward also does not get produced by Frost Staff heavy attacks, by warding enchants and any other shield proc not directly tied to a skill. May be intended this way, but Daedric Refuge and Warding Burst can't possibly be intended.
Another problem is that it appears this ward is cast underneath the main ward that produced it. This makes no sense gameplay wise, because the whole point of this ward is to take heat off of the longer lasting main wards. Wards last for 6 seconds, while this one lasts for 4. So while my main ward takes all the damage, this here ward simply runs out with its shorter duration without actually adding any value.
It should be produced on top of the main ward as a buffer.
Thank you for adding 150 recoveries to this though. So even if the ward itself is useless in many situations, at least we get some recovery...
Calculated Defense
This talent has a hidden cooldown not mentioned in the tooltip. This ward can not be refreshed or re-created while the current one is active, and also not for some milliseconds thereafter.
Conservation of Energy
This also has a hidden cooldown through the Blood Magic passive. Blood Magic can apparently only trigger once every 0.5 seconds, despite not saying so in either tooltip. If I use Overload > Skill > Overload > Skill, the Skill cast/hit will neither trigger the healing nor the ressource restore of Conservation of Energy. I would like to see these internal cooldowns removed to allow for more synergy.
Some skills do not seem to activate this:
Streak does not trigger this passive even when hitting enemies, while Ball of Lightning correctly triggers it.
Missing Overload attacks without hitting, even though the passive should proc on skill cast.
Static Reverberation
Has proven itself viable and good in dummy tests. Useless for open world and pvp in my opinion, but for parsing (which apparently matters most) it does the work.

Tested New Sorcerer Masteries on PTS for about an hour on a dummy. Did the first test with my average geared live character and did the second with a fully equipped template.
PTS results for live character were that the Pure Sorcerer was directly competitive with my live Sorcerer DK multiclass build seen here at 54k dps vs 53k dps:

On the template character, I only wound up doing a pure test, as I have done an extensive test of my Sorc DK setup during last PTS, and nothing should have changed. Results were 115k for Sorc Pure vs 101k for Sorc DK:

Will run more tests later on the template build, as my live results were very consistent. It was easy to hit 20% weapon power using Font of Power, and Static Reverberation consistently contributed an extra 8% to 10% DPS.

I think so. Current Sorceror Masteries have already proven to make my pure Sorcerer competitive with my Sorcerer DK hybrid using the same build. My build does pump out a lot of hits though, so it may be over-inflating the passive's power increase when thinking about baseline power for Sorceror.

I do. Anything that reduces the reliance on subclassing for critical hit damage is a good thing. I feel like the current masteries are helping to do just that.

The masteries seem potent already. 20% weapon damage from Font of Power is already better than minor brutality/sorcery from sub-classing and probably worth about 6% out of the 12% critical damage you could get from a passive. Add another 8% to 10% raw damage that Static Reverberation has been adding to my parses, and that's gotta be close to what you get from 2 sub classes.
Not as strong overall as some Arcanist amalgam, but I'm hoping those Franksteins are ripped apart and rebalanced by the time all of the refreshes are over. Don't think masteries should use that as their measuring stick.
Maybe scale up Static Reverberation until it hits the DPS threshold you are looking for. Font of power could be dangerous with Warden freeing up the critical damage budget.
Any other general thoughts around Class Mastery?
Warden's increased access to Major Brittle may be one of the bigger changes to help pure classes free themselves from subclassing passives.

and I am reminded as well from this then that the Skyshard that needed to be absorbed before leaving the wailing prison reattuned our bodies to Nirn so that these bodies did not return to Coldharbour upon a death like the Daedra do but anchor you to Nirn and the more skyshards discovered the more you become anchored..
and I wonder is it just a theory that the original bodies rot somewhere or could these just have been transformed or changed - for I do remember the Prophet saying something as well about a Corporeal form - though what would be a noncorporeal form..and I still wonder what would be the purpose of getting your original soul back if not so that it can travel to where it was meant to go..or would it be because you would not wish it to be used in another way since it is said it is contained in a soul gem?
A noncorporeal form would be a ghost or spirit, and though these often exactly resemble the person they were in life (such as Jofnir, or any of the ghosts we do quests for on the landscape) sometimes they don't. Ayleid ghosts in particular don't look much like Ayleids did in life.
It is an interesting question of what's the driving force for us to get our soul back, since we seem to do just fine without it. It might be as simple as just not wanting it to be in the hands of Molag Bal, or there might be something to us being even more powerful once we're fully souled again. There's also the notion that we just want to be whole again, that something feels off mentally or emotionally if we don't have our full soul.
The soul quest does kind of get lost in the mix these days, since you can skip the tutorial and choose to never do the main quest, meaning your soul never gets sundered but you're still able to do all the things a Vestige can do (game mechanics taking precedence over lore in that case).
So by the time we get our soul back, we are presumably very firmly anchored to Nirn from having collected so many skyshards. Yet can we die and, if we do, what happens to our poor souls? That's the hard thing to figure out. It is a messy mix of lore and gameplay mechanics.

However things are looking less rosy for pet builds
I mean, 165k is still really good, don't get me wrong.
Sorc is doing just fine.
Destruction Staff, MagSorc, Overload, High Elf, and now even Monolith of Storms and a good outcome: am I adream?
That is gleaming with class identity. I absolutely hate playing Sorc as a DPS in pve, but this build would make me do it.
Alas, how much will subclasses abuse these newly buffed sets, and this new Mythical? Will probably make this parse look like warm up. *'
EDIT: But still this horrible Medium Armour I see... I want Light Armour back.
