Yep I think this is a recurring bug with skill styles. Also happened to the arcanist ultimate that looked like a jack o lantern. Also has been fixed.

Scout Gunthe no longer gives the prologue quest for Greymoor. You can obtain it in game by speaking to Lyris in Riften. This was to stop having a hoard of NPCs chasing the player around in cities and confusing new players with prologue quests. The wikis (which ZOS has no control over) have not been updated with this.

Oakensoul isn't useless, it's just a tool. If you're using a build that doesn't benefit from it, then it will be useless to you.

The main problem around Oakensoul has been simultaneously the Oaken-hypers who can't see it's faults, and the oaken-haters who scream its useless to anyone using it. In between there's a considerable group of people who benefit from it.

Fwiw, I still use it everywhere as I'm happy with what it provides while acknowledging it's not the best tool for my job. I just like not thinking about maintaining buffs.

Critters are not filtered out by the "prevent attacking innocents" option, ergo every single one of them is guilty as the devil himself.

If you don't wish to see all of the rewards as they populate, but just want to see the gold values. They are listed below.
I decided against compiling all of the item data itself due to lack of time and the fact that 600+ crates is actually still pretty small for "large number theory" when the variables are so vast on a drop system like Jubilee crates. You could theoretically open this exact number of crates and never get a drop over 100,000g, or you could open half of them and get 1 item worth as much as all of my drops give or take.

BUT the average based on my outcomes would have you expecting around 496,889g

And based on my own human perception of the rewards in the current market on PC-NA. I would wager you should expect no less than 250,000g-350,000g per 70 crates. And typically, well beyond those numbers.

Current state: battlegrounds are disgusting. Matchmaking is non-existant.

1,000 kills for the seasonal challenge in three designated areas. In dungeons/delves, mobs don't count, but in the overland, all you need to do is kill a harmless little animal with a light attack (they have 1 hp) to boost your score.
Does that seem fair to you?
I obviously refrain from this senseless hunt for squirrels, deer, or the cute little Nixads, but I'm outraged by the obscene spectacle of thousands of players mercilessly crushing everything that moves. It disgusts me.
But what was the need for that?
This game often stands out for protecting certain minorities, and I'm pleased. Why not protect the sensibilities of those who oppose the killing of innocent little animals?
What demonstration of skill or strength is firing a light attack at a hare or a heron?
I hope ZOS reconsiders, and along with the promised fix to the zone dungeons/delves, that ZOS does not continue to encourage this needless slaughter.

I mean okay, should we spend trade bars on great looking mounts that just look like a standard horse to other players? This is really annoying tbh
