BSW is still only 490 for 8s and then a 4s+ downtime so it is a 66% uptime at best, but more than likely falling down to a 50% uptime at times. Where something like stuhns or essence thief is closer to a 800wd set proc with 100% uptime in combat when played correctly.
Not that I think stuhns or essence needs to be changed, just that all of the old WD set designs were far more playful and interactive than the boring mandatory cooldowns. There is something to say about adjusting your weaving playstyle to keep the procs rolling vs being a slave to watching a cooldown timer while you block cast healing soul.

On live Rakkhat’s Voidmantle is in a really good spot both with Overload and without it. It’s not the best but still quite competitive and enables new fun playstyles. And overload in particular requires a certain amount of effort to make full use of voidmantle too.
Voidmantle was nerfed because it doesn't work exactly the way they intended (even though it's perfectly fine this way). As I understand it Overload has been disabled for a different reason: Voidmantle disables resource restoration from heavy attacks but Overload doen't restore resources, so it ignores this penalty and thus shouldn't benefit from extra damage. To be honest this sounds like an incredibly silly reason to me. We just can't have nice things.
Voidmantle’s function is essentially to switch roles of light and heavy attacks. Light attacks are used for damage inbetween skills while heavy attacks are used to restore resources while dealing less damage overall. Voidmantle makes light attack restore resources and nerf it's damage, to put it in heavy attack's place, while heavy attack no longer restores resources because it's function now is to deal damage, additionally receives a buff partially to make up for the fact that it's the main source of damage and thus less skills are used and more damage on top because mythic needs to result in power net positive. Therefore, if Overload heavy attacks happen to already not restore resources it's fine, because disabled heavy attack restoration is not in fact a true penalty, more of a change. I would call it a penalty if Voidmantle didn't enable light attacks to restore resources instead but they do and this restoration acts excactly as that of heavy attacks, further proving my point.

Server Performance for MYM has been really poor
I don't know if Zos just dusted off the old servers and decided to deploy them for MYM, but it certainly seems that this is what they did, because the server performance is even worse than your average non-event day in Blackreach or Grey Host - and with far less people populating the server. I've been playing Evergloam primarily to take advantage of some AP bonuses, and even with the server at minimal bars, I get frame rate drop and rubber banding, I've been kicked from server a few times, and skills are not firing when I want them to fire. Overall, the server performance has been really really poor. I'm not the only one who has complained about this, as I've had guildies experience the same issues. But this is definitely the worst I have seen the servers in the past 3 months.

Nope, because you have a very clear (and cool, I might add) visual indicator for the area... You can actually see if you're in the radius where you get pulled or not.
How it works on Live is that someone can gap close someone away from you, sprint towards you and pull you because it considers pullling player's position rather than a static one.
This is very prone to positional desyncs because the servers have a hard time figuring out actual player locations, hence why dawnbreakers and other AoEs can miss point blank, why you often can't land abilities on someone running around a pillar even if they're in your range etc.
Think of the new one as Dark Convergence, just different proc timer/visual.

I would imagine that those values are somewhat architecture-specific.
Like, I wouldn't want the game trying to run on Intel eCores or across chiplets on certain AMD processors.
Not that that applies to you on a 7800x3D, though.
What all was your experience like with those settings?
So it was hard to say last night. The queue was over 2 hours and once I got in there were hardly any fights (my queue popped right after the hammer went away). There was that small battle a nik and there was the DC ball there and my frames tanked. I was hoping to get a clip without being near a ball group because once someone sees a ball group they just make assumptions and ignore the underlying problem.... but.. it is what it is.
I'm wondering if there is a skill or something that "pops" and then that is causing the fps to nuke. It was good... and then out of no where it wasn't. Then it was good again... then it wasnt. I'll try finding some more fights tonight and getting into the queue earlier.
I also want to reduce my numbers a bit. I used the math on the guide I posted earlier but wondering if my values were too high.

Now that I'm thinking about it more... that feeling I had last night was very similar to how I left when Azureblight first came out. When you'd be near a group running multiple sets of it... when the "pops" would go off server performance would nuke - I would sometimes crash when they went off. That is how it felt last night. When there are bigger fights it feels more consistent with the fps drops but maybe thats just because there are so many people running something?
That doesn't line up with people having this issue in PvE though so.... not sure. Just putting info out there in hopes something will "click" for a dev.

Well as a casual player who has played ESO since launch, here is my 2 cents:
1 - Light and heavy weave cancellations. If I'm not mistaken this was considered a bug at first then they decided it was a feature. Really? Sorry as a casual I don't want to have to get this complex to optimize a build. If it was something that made a very small difference it would be 1 thing, but in some builds it is huge.
2 - PvP. Sorry but as a casual I rarely ever do pvp any more. I jump into a battleground for some extra xp or alliance xp or even just a few reward boxes and proceed to spend the next 5 minutes watching 2-3 sweaty players just dominate every match and destroy people in 1-2 hits. Make a pvp where armor/weapons are basically off so you don't have to deal with these elite pvp players and TONS of casuals would be playing more. I understand Cyrodil (which is why I never go there), make it as elite as you want, but make a battlegrounds where gear has 0 impact so casuals who aren't spending every waking moment prepping their toons just for pvp can do something, then have a seperate battlegrounds where you can gear out as much as you want.
3 - Achievements. Going to account wide was one of the worst mistakes they ever made. As someone said, a lot just wanted titles to be account wide and thats it. I enjoyed making a new toon and going after all the WB's again to see what I could handle. Now it's just not the same.
4 - Lag. I see a lot of players complain about server lag, but as a PC player I have had VERY few issues. I do have some long load times, but very little lag while playing.
5 - Crossplay. Damn this would be SO huge, but it has some real big issues. How do you determine who has what traders after they have already been established? Names? I've had 10 names since the first week of ESO going live on PC so I'd better not lose them, and I better not lose my account name.
6 - Subclassing is amazing and i love it, but why would you go from U46 which is what brought me back to the game, to suddenly announcing in U47 you are nerfing several skills into the ground, namely from Nightblade? I understand some changes but these are huge and I am already changing what I want to do based on the U47 changes.
7 - How about some rebalancing of sets? Right now almost everyone runs the same exact sets for lvling, then maybe a total of 5-7 sets it seems for pre trial, then the same 3-4 sets for most builds after trial sets are achieved.
8 - How about a little less focus on housing/furniture/cosmetics, and more focus on mew game features like maybe a new class or race or something.
9 - I would spend a LOT more in the ESO store if everything wasn't behind loot boxes. Give me an amazing mount I can buy directly and I would be all over it.
10 - Someone earlier said ESO was not meant for the solo player and that has got to be about the most absurd things I have read on here. The game is for everyone and all play styles. Sometimes I just want to solo, and other times I want to group and do trials. Focus on all play styles. Overland content difficulty slider would be a nice feature for people who want to choose their style.

Real simple, make earning tickets based on number of PvP kills, not PvE quests in PvP events.

I guess you want to sell them, huh? Trading myself - buying more than selling - had crossed my mind. I only wanted to point out that people are getting Affix scripts from RNDs and lots of people run those. I don't normally do so myself; wish I'd known earlier. Prices are still sky high. I did not buy due to that. I doubt there are many actual sales and I think that prices will come down, despite rarity. I could be wrong, of course.
