The last 2 years of jubilee have been very lackluster in my opinion. There are more ways to get boxes but the rewards you get from them are significantly nerfed. I used to be excited for it but honestly the last two years I just do my writs and then log off for the day.

The model it was up until two years ago was great. Sure you could only get the boxes from dailies, but the rewards were great. Materials came in bigger stacks and motifs seemed to drop more from boxes.

I feel like the change was made to get people to do more then just writs during jubilee but for me personally it actually has a had the opposite effect. I used to go around and do a bunch of world boss, delve, and cyrodill story dailies each day on top of my writs but now I just do my writs and log off for the day. The rewards just aren’t worth more effort than that.

Not sure if I’m alone in this, but going forward I’d like to see it reverted back to the older model of obtaining boxes and rewards from those boxes. It was much more exciting then.

The only reason for such challenges to exist (and not counting delves/dungeons/trials) is for a slide for the monthly management meeting of how great the decision was to add these zones to the base game and how player engagement was extremely high.

I have basically seen constant complaining in zone chat and my group chat how tedious this is. Yeah we have still 90 days to complete this, but ESO players have been conditioned over the years to complete daily/weekly/endeavors as soon as possible. So it makes sense everybody jumps on this day 1.

Daggerfall takes place way after ESO does (3rd era compared to ESO's 2nd era), so maybe the city hasnt been built yet.

They have just released exactly those 3 zones for free (resp. added them to the base game), so this seasonal task is probably meant as a tie-in to that, for players who now begin those zone stories for the first time.

Just like the last seasonal task they added was clearly related to the current event.

I suspect them to continue exactly like that: Weeklies will likely be randomized, seasonals will be the same for everyone and not able to be rerolled, and relate to current events, newly released systems, etc.

Tell your, uhm, "friend" that it's fine. There are no new stories in this season, but there are two coming next (a Thieves Guild and an Uncle Sheo story) and probably a new zone coming in Season Three (Q1 2027). The game is not in maintenance mode. Your, uhm, "friend" is just tuned in to clickbaity stuff.

Now google or lookup the word excursion on Google or Cambridge dictionary. You will get the same results everywhere.


So calling it a 'major zone' or thinking about it as something like a chapter or Q4 zone will get people majorly disappointed. These showcase streams are written out well in advance and every word choice is deliberate and thought out by a whole marketing team.

As for your question: I would love sets, mytics, dungeons, delves, main story and incursions in the new zone. Will we get it?...we will probably know Q1 2027, but so far I am very cautious.

This promted me to check dungeons and group dungeons also are not counting which means trials and arenas also likely will not count....why?

I used to really enjoy the jesters festival but something that was once fun has turned into a needless and cruel grind for myself and several others for sovereign sow fragments. The fragments have a really really low drop rate and the only way to earn them is by completing jester quests and opening boxes. I’ve probably done about 400-500 jester boxes in the last 3 years and only have 3 out of the 7 required fragments. It’s so frustrating that I cannot just buy the remaining fragments with event tickets/ gold bars or buy them from the guild trader. It’s a non combat pet that’s several years old. It’s time for zenimax to help us out and make it more accessible

We need to hear from ZOS whether this is a bug or intended. If intended it's a major slap to the face. 1k overland beasts even in 90 days is WAY too many if it's limited to just overland and public dungeons and delves don't count. Please ZOS, please give us a statement as to whether or not this is a bug or intended. And if it's intended, please make it so public dungeons and delves in the zone count toward the achievement. Nobody I've ever met in game in 11 years spends time grinding overland mobs.

I completely agree. When I see players complaining about the lack of motifs, I remind them we used to only receive boxes from completing dailies. No one could farm them by killing WBs in Craglorn. Now that the 10 year anniversary style pages can be bought, I'd say it's time ZOS make this event daily completion only again.

And for the love of Sotha Sil, please get rid of the furnishings and purple provisioning recipes and bring back the mats of 20!!
