While your feelings are entirely valid, so are mine and the others enjoying the DK now. Especially on the PVE side. We've had too many years of fun or powerful builds being defanged and destroyed on the PVE side because of PVP. There has to come a point where the combat team realizes that PVP and PVE need to be balanced separately.

On top of that, there's the whole rework underway to bring other classes into parity. I'd suggest being patient and let that play out. I know that's not always easy when you're getting obliterated in PVP. Trying to be empathetic.

It seems reasonable that there'll be counters to the DK's current strength. We've had too many years of one exodus after another because ZOS makes something fun/strong, and then nerfs it. A fair amount of that nerfing has been due to PVP. I'm not blaming the PVPers for this - you want your game mode to be fun.

But so do I.

It's time to try a different approach.

I, actually am NOT surprised no one has complained about it yet.

I appreciate it because when I finish the task I want to clear it and get started on the next one.

Not when you're trying to get a speed run or trifecta done in a dungeon or trial. It's incredibly aggravating and because some of these challenges are super easy and repeatable (like "Kill 8 dangerous foes"), even if you pause to clear out that screen notification, you practically get it again just a few minutes later.

Most of the time it comes down to the player/group carrying it is looking for fights and since the scroll shows on the map at all times, and even shows on the locator bar at the top of the screen if close enough, and is a key objective in cyrodiil lots of players will go to it to take it, or take it back, or try to, so lots of fights to be had.

There are a few exceptions though and many of those exceptions are ego driven or just attempts at attention seeking.

I don't even want crossplay.

It feels like a test, to see what players are willing to put up with.

Julianos is a crafted set and can be made to look like any motif you know, it has no predetermined appearance, which means we either need a picture of this specific Julianos chest piece to know what motif was used for it, or for you to look in the corner of the item, as seen here. These breeches are in the Wood Elf motif:

Without the cleave, it's so painful to have the damage lost because of a minor stagger interrupting the channel, or the target dying early (feels so bad). Fatecarver and DK breath get AoE during the whole channel.

Of course, heavy attacks are free and return resources. But they also require a target and get most of their damage from the last hit, so the early AoE damage helped compensate for these drawbacks and made it more usable.

What if they just split the tasks to different categories by difficulty, and you get one of each category to do? So, if you reroll the first task (the easy one) you'll get a similary easy task that pays exactly the same, and if you reroll the last task (the difficult one) you'll get a similarly difficult task that pays the same? Total payout for a fully completed card would be the same for all players, but the tasks would still have some variety.

Why do they still not have complete information on how this tomes stuff actually works? Why little drips of information on various different social media outlets when they have official forum with no response to questions and no full explanation of how this all works is just silly. (A big Thanks to those that use those other social media outlets for posting on here what they find.)

This is exactly my issue.

I turned in all my caches because I wanted to unlock the pages. I also wanted most of the stuff available, and have more to buy, but I don't want the stuff like the upgrade materials, or the potions, or experience scrolls and all that stuff. I do not know how many points I will have left over after I have unlocked the bonus pages (if I do, and the bonus pages has stuff on them I want).

They really should do it like most other battlepass systems: Change the page unlock from tome points to tome experience, and give both experience and points from the weeklies, or if we are going to *have* to take the stuff we don't want, just make it so we have to claim the stuff and get rid of the currency altogether (though that might be too late at this point).

IE, we earn experience, and when we unlock a page, or even individual rewards, we can claim the things on that page.

Because, this seems like it is going to be a recurring issue. If they have bonus pages, that is where they will likely put the 'best' stuff, and so people are going to want to unlock them, which means lots of points. Lots of points means the potential for lots of points left over, which means we are just going to keep getting all the stuff we didn't want to buy in the first place.
