It wouldnt be hard for them to go back to all the old textures and add more details with higher resolution. A while ago now I extracted all the base maps, diffuse, alphas etc and imported them into Unreal Engine to recreate the below from Craglorn. There are 10s of thousands of files so it would be a huge undertaking but not impossible.
I was fighting Tho'at on Arc 4, hoping to get the achievement and all that, when I was killed. Not by the boss, but by my old nemesis Morelag Bal. As that was my last life thread, it ended my run. Profanities followed.
Of course ESO minority who managed to do properly initially just bug is in its own bubble and defend it .
The worst mistake devs did was to cater to them.
Outside the bubble, ESO is the most notorious for the worst combat in any MMO.
Just go read anywhere outside bubble in the last 10 years, and it's almost always that the combat is the ranked as the worst aspect of the game.
It goes like this "I would play ESO / I tried it but combat is horrible" or similar adjectives.
For me personally, combat is mostly terrible (LA weaing is just one part), and that doesn't include just playing as DD - tanking is even worse. Probably the worst aspect of game (excluding hundreds bugs) for me.
Yesterday, I was in the very middle of one of the cycle boss fights, and the game simply froze solid. The music (of course) kept playing, but the controls were locked up completely. I had to do the console equivalent of force quit, although I did grab a screen shot for posterity first:
BTW @robwolf666 - there's a 'tell' just before the shout which, if spotted, you could avoid. Also make sure you don't stray too much to the side or you'll get wing-bashed off the platform.
Two outfits I made for my Breton Sorcerer after an almost 4-year break from the game. I really love how this Militant Monk helmet looks, reminds me medieval chaperon hat, so I built those outfits around it.
