My first guess is that the different age groups are not represented equally on the forum.
The format of the forum is not so modern.
Not to mention how many players use all the game-related media as read-only/watch-only.

A census indeed... I made a real attempt to do the combat loop as intended (argent -> gilded -> opulent) and it just doesn't work. People don't want to do the gilded over again if they're saving their argent keys for another group and they don't want to fill for opulent if they're saving their gilded key for another group. The overland section is very pro-friendship but the key situation is anti-friendship.

if your just running around expecting it to be a public dungeon, the chances you will find people are going to be slim, unless you come across another zerg or have been in the same instance for a whole day

the 36 player pop cap and size of the night market dont help especially when you imagine that 36 people is only 3 groups of 12, and its easy for 2 of those 3 groups to be involved in well group activities like a single skirmish in a single district

group finder is absolutely the way to go to get into groups with this event right now, they could expand the pop caps for the next event or do some adjusting on things to make it seem more lively to people who do want to run around more solo

The last two days I refused two invites for the opulent runs from my friends because of keys. I need them for the guild run tomorrow.
Last weekend I missed one guild run to the trial because of bad luck with a dungeon group. As a result, I avoid the same situation and skip the invitations.
I guess I will take it easier after having a no-death run. But currently it adds some tension.

Maybe try submitting a ticket? Or actually asking the question here?

Vengeance fixes all of these complaints, but we're not ready for that discussion yet.

I’ll say here that same thing I’ve said about the new DK. After a solid year of constant subclassed Assassination/Animal Companion builds, I’ll take anything different. And now, decent dot builds are finally viable enough to stand up to the meta that’s been screwing up PVP for so long.

I say good job on this one, ZOS. I can finally enjoy the builds I like. Keep putting out bangers like this and I’ll stick around for the long term.

Its honestly fine by me lol, certain players that cant handle fighting as dk unless they're in a carry group and that have given up trying to VD people have committed themselves to these cheese builds in zergs or while hiding, and while occasionally annoying, its not really any worse to me than past metas that had a lot of ganker setups around.

You get killed afk or when 7 to 1 and they feel big for a few seconds, and then are one shot when you finally catch them within 8m range.

I honestly am not bothered by this, and I actually agree with this post. DK is eatin good rn, I don't mind long range cowardly builds being the counterplay. Especially in Cyrodiil where you need to push points to really get anything done.

@ZOS_Finn This key situation also complicates the ability for people to run with multiple groups.

For example, one player in one of my longstanding groups is running Opulent with another longstanding group before my group, which means that their keys are out of sync with ours.

You've done a good job of getting people to group up for district activities, but then you throw up these appalling barriers for the Gilded and Opulent instances.. People should be able to do this content without having to do a census of everyone's key status.

At the very least you should've allowed players to hold multiple copies of a key.
