Feedback.
- remove the need to "claim favor" from the gold orb: it seems to spawn randomly during quests and I never understand if I am not seeing it or it has not appeared. Just make it a normal auto-loot added to our account.
- increase favors from daily quests.
Yes! That's what I was trying to remember. I know I missed some favors because the pace is SO hectic I didn't have time to futz with claiming. I'm old, I play with a controller and the targeting to get that sweet spot while a dozen other things are going on was a pain in the butt.
And yes, increase favor gain. I played for 2 hours with the pug and got maybe 200? That's a pretty low ROI considering the challenge.

The puzzle respawn timer is driving me crazy, how are we supposed to even figure this out if we have to wait 15 min between less than 30 sec of actual puzzle....

Uninstalled and cancelled my subscription. Your Night Market garbage is the final nail. When are you going to understand people hate grouping in ESO. Majority of the time you (the developers) create content you like, not what your community likes. So do please make a character and go into the Night market and play your own game you so love so much. Experience it, feel it and get to know what your community are like or perhaps just sit on the sidelines and laugh at us with your forced smiles, your're pretty good at that. It's time for people to wake up and down their tools and to watch your empire fall because without us THE PEOPLE you are nothing. Wake up people! Time to do you and not enslave yourself to this rapacious organization.

So here's what it is. I did multiple different types of playing.
Solo. Lol, no. Can I do it? Yes. Do I wanna torture myself? No. But Zos was very very very clear that this would be very very tough to solo. They did tiptoe around flat out saying this is for groups and that was a disservice.
Joined random guild group saying x up for NM. It was 6 people and no one had a damn clue what to do, where to go, what this or that meant. How to do the mini games. Burn the spiders with the flame thrower carnival game, but I didn't have a quest and it's on a timer. Then you gotta burn nests. No clue. No one had any clue, same with the void things in the patch or whatever. No clue. But no longer difficult. Died a few times and no soul gem usage is STUPID.
Then the main event. I'm leading groups for my casual social guild tonight and tomorrow. I wanted to get the lay of the land. I went in with my optimized raid team. And we did optimize. The roster had a group comp with what subclasses and gear to bring with boss and trash setups if we wanted. (I didn't) Then we split down the middle. 6 and 6 and took different zones. I'm gonna tell you. This is where the night market shines. It was such a blast running around with my friends. Such a good time. We encountered some bugged bosses. Specifically the hunt phase from...the warewolf dungeon. Sorry it's 630am lol. We had a great time though and I look forward to leading my casual friends into the fray tonight and tomorrow.
That said. I understand the complaint. It's not just abstract. While I am a vet and hm player with an optimized raid team, my wife is a solo quester that loves to just beat up overland stuff and pick flowers and putter around her house. She has never done a trial or a vet dungeon. The only dungeons she's ever done are duo with me. She is effectively locked out of this area unless I'm there with a guild group. She will not group with strangers. She said she would try to follow a pack but I know this will lead to frustration. There should have been a very mode with more rewards or something.

Right now because ZOS has nerfed me again and again, am probably going to stop ESO+. And also might leave the game.
I am tired of paying to get nerfed, and I see that classes like necromancer are being discriminated.
I just hope that the devs will see reason change their refresh order because Necro and NB are far more in need than this warden with OP frost damage and animal companion doing crazy damage, especially in PvP. NB is used just for the assassination skill line passives and merciless resolve. And the new upcoming mythic will apparently buff wardens.
I am tired of seeing other classes being buffed again and again while those I use are being nerfed, and this has been going on for years. I am tired of paying to get nerfed and to be forced into other classes. And I don’t call this “play how you want” that devs said when subclasses came out last year.

Changed title to reflect my unbridled rage. Yes I'm raging. It took two hours to get that group together! So honestly, this whole event can go right up molag bal's butthole!
Possibly obvious Night Market district question
So forgive me if this is silly to ask, but I just started the Night Market and I'm kind of confused about how player presence/instances work there.
For context: I usually play with my partner, and as many other players we first tried to go into one of the districts because upon opening the event menu/progress I saw that there was a Skirmish there.
The zone, Sorrow's Friend, was totally devoid of players. We aren't new to the game, but we still got kind of destroyed a few fights in.We waited around because we assumed it's like a public dungeon and players can just show up, but nobody ever did. We ended up going back to the hub and getting into a group, and that of course made the event doable. But we also didn't see any other large groups either. Are there just not enough players on to be visible in the three zones (PC EU), or are the districts instanced somehow?

I think this should be part of a larger conversation about just how strong we want pressure/dot builds to be.
Also disdain isn't super popular but it's one of the few pressure oriented sets that are still usable.
Like with maarselok, rather than nerfing it, I'd like more options, not nerf the only viable dot monster set currently available.
That being said I really didn't think we needed a mythic that nearly doubles status damage, even if it comes with a steep tradeoff.
I would personally prefer if regular dot abilities were a bit stronger while status effects were a bit weaker, as skills require bar space and gcd to apply where as status effects can be applied almost passively with glyphs and such.
I am however okay with each class having it's associated status effect it can use better than other classes, and it seems Zos is heading in that direction as well.
Also disdain isn't super popular but it's one of the few pressure oriented sets that are still usable.

Sometimes i genuinely wonder what the devs think when they read this. And i mean behind the professional cover, what they personally(/and cannot say in public) think when people say some overland group content is for the top 1%.
Night market was revealed, marketed, tested, and released as a group zone. Think Craglorn but 2026.
Is night market hard?
For a casual solo player that never touched group content or has read the tooltip of his gear? Yes, very hard, i'd go as far as to say impossible, this is probably why the story of the zone is very lacking, this is the players most involved in it
For a casual player that dabbles in group content/guilds here and there? Arguable, he has the skills and knowledge to look up a pale order build and slug through night market by himself, albeit very slow, but he will choose to join a zerg most likely
For a casual player that has a guild/friends/knows how to use the groupfinder/discord? No, the difficulty borders on trivial
Please notice i did not talk about the numbers the above hypothetical players can pull on a dummy parse and instead i talked about their general playstyle
