Holding down block will prevent you from being knocked down, and if you are rooted it does not mean you are intantly K/D as well. The only one spouting nonsense atm, is you.
I don't main a sorc because I prefer to heal and I am on of the few healers our group has.
If i want to be a healer, i would play templar, am i wrong?f0rgiv3n27b14_ESO wrote: »@Halrloprillalar

Sorc is probably the best PvP healer... but please keep posting.

Buddy, if you think Dragonknights are so much better than other classes that they can consistently win, no matter who plays on both sides, you seriously need to learn to play.
On the other hand, it doesn't take a genius to understand that a sorcerer can consistently survive any encounter, unless his opponent is also a sorcerer.
Time to open your eyes.

Neither of those options is acceptable. Luckily there is no class that can always stomp another, but there IS a class that can always run away. And that's why it needs to be fixed.Luvsfuzzybunnies wrote: »Halrloprillalar wrote: »f0rgiv3n27b14_ESO wrote: »Halrloprillalar wrote: »You clearly have never actually played a sorc in pvp. Actually I have, and I firmly believe that immovable should be on everyone's bar no matter what class, the skill is invaluable with all the CC in this game. You get CC'd you die, is pretty much the name of this game.
And guess what? Immovable doesn't stop roots
Guess what happens when you get rooted?
EDIT: I'd also wager your 'pvp' sorc isn't 50, so I stand by my previous statement.
When you get rooted as a sorc in pvp you just bolt escape away since roots don't stop you from using the ability. You still teleport 15 meters away as if nothing is inhibiting you from doing so.
It seems you haven't played a sorc in pvp enough to know this or you would know this. Thanks for your oh so insightful input about how to counter the ability in question. Except that's right there still haven't been any good counters shown here or in any other threads.
So once again I say the grown ups are talking here and have no time for childish tantrums about getting their skills fixed to a reasonable power level.
Read my previous post about roots and stuns and their interactions before you make claims like 'you haven't played enough sorc in pvp'.
Also, lol @ 'no reasonable counters'. Such irony. Much amused.JosephChip wrote: »I'd prefer someone ran away from me all the time than stomped my face in every time if that's what you're asking.

I read every word you still have not shown a reasonable counter. If you can come up with one I'll be glad to hear it. Until then you are just trying to keep and overpowered ability overpowered by saying there are plenty of counters. Zenimax has all the evidence I do to make decisions about the balance of their game. They probably watched the bolt escape counter video and saw the only part in the video that actually worked was the /wave function works. Keep up the good work though obviously they believed you when you said that its fine and all the people complaining need to L2p. I appreciate all the rest of your responses to this if you provide a reasonable counter I will concede your point. If you plan to just flame on more and not offer and reasonable contributions to this post I will just let the case rest and we will see whether they continue with the nerf or decide it was fine.

And you're a templar, so you can even top it all off it with Eclipse to take 0 damage from the sorc the majority of the time.

I will respond to this last post since you obviously are not reading and cant possible be brought to realize that Roots don't stop you from bolt escaping. If they did I wouldn't mind the skill being the way it is. I don't know of any other class who can move let alone 15 meters in a single move while rooted. So your post has in fact been proven wring in several of the previous posts in the thread one of them being my own. I am finished here you can continue to cry about the nerf to it being the death of sorcs but if you didnt abuse it to begin with then this nerf will hardly affect you play. If you had no need to cast it 13 times in 15 seconds then this will not affect you. Have a good day I am patiently waiting for the time sorcs actually have to be cautious and pick and choose fights that are advantageous rather than just running in doing damage hoping to kill someone and if no just bolting away without a care in the world. Then they will be in the same boat as 2 of the other classes and DK's will be soon to follow then when each class has the same possibility of death in PvP we will be very close to the nirvana they call balance. Once again take care and I will not entertain anymore of your trolling trying to use arguments that have already been proven false time and time again.
Edited to confirm: I am in fact a nightblade my sig seems to say so but you read templar somehow. Just some evidence to support my statement of you not reading.

for the last bloody time: root WITH stun makes it so you can't BO out of stun.
Read the CC thread.
EDIT: there is apparently a way NB can chain stuns to make it so you can't BO either, I'm not a NB so I can't comment but I have been killed this way before.
And you can't "pick and choose" your fights when getting ganked, btw. You die, or you run.

Ahh you keep gaoding me into a response for the last time I tell you you can bolt while rooted so your counter does not work. I root you you bolt away cause root doesn't stop you from moving(and you're the only class it doesn't stop). Oh snap now you put on immovable cause you're a smart sorc(Or at least we will say you are for sake of argument here which doesn't exactly seem to be the case though does it?). Now you can't be stunned or knocked down(and it's ok cause you don't have to manage your stamina bar cause lucky for you you're a single resource class). Then you continue to bolt while rooted or not doesn't matter cause you're spamming the ability anyhow. Then you can exchange the rest of the stamina bar that has been refilling while you bolt for health and mana. You're right that's not broken that makes you the special snowflake your mother told you, you are.
