    I think this is subjective.

I voted no because I didn't want anything. If it had a bunch I wanted my answer would probably change.

Only thing outside of bars and seals I want is the Dusk Blue Vigor skill style, which is free. It's pretty cool and I have a stars/night themed character for it. Kinda wish they expanded on this to even more skills.

Can't vote, because I believe the normal Premium ($15) is worth it, assuming you like some of the cosmetics, which is a subjective choice.
HOWEVER, I think the $30 Premium Plus is bogus. All you get is one kind of meh costume and a head start on the tome. That's not worth double the price IMO.

The price point is very fair and many of the rewards are appealing. I like that the rewards as well as the tasks apply to all aspects of the game. Something for housing, pvp, fashion, ect.

I got it for the Werewolf Skill Style and also the Hircine-themed set of cosmetics, which includes the Personality. I also appreciate the consumables and currency, like the AP boosting scrolls and the Psijic Order Motif book.

I'm looking forward to the next Tome!

The Psijic motif is free. I picked that up without premium.

But I get it...if they stuck a must-have skill style for my character like Dusk Vigor, I'd have bought the pass.

I would say that the basic Premium is worth it but that Premium Plus either needs a cost reduction (preferable) or else more features added to it.

The Plus costume is neat (IMO) and the caches are universally useful - but not at the cost of literally doubling the price of basic Premium.

I would imagine that tons of players would opt for Plus if it was 20$. At that price, most basic Premium buyers would think, "Eh, why not?" and just spend the extra 5$. What they lose per sale is made up in increased sales volume.

Otherwise, if it remained 30$, I would want to see something like 5x (or more) caches for Plus so that folk can basically skip the Tome Points acquisition process by simply throwing money at the problem. Which is appealing for some players. That would also help to maintain Plus sales if the unique cosmetic of the season was polarizing since buyers would be getting a large amount of universal utility on top of it.

But, to be clear, I would much prefer to simply see Plus reduced to 20$. That also seems more sustainable than simply fishing for whales.

Exactly. The premium is worth it if you're into getting cosmetics or currencies. The premium+bonus is not, unless one of the bonus items is something you really, really, really, really want. Double the price for a few extra items is an odd way to monetize it.

Logic problem in the question and response set: AND means both conditions must be true or both conditions must be false for the yes/no answer to work.

Premium Plus, at least for this Tome, is "totally not worth it" in my view. One costume and two Tome Point caches just aren't worth the extra $15.

Premium thus far is OK. Is there $15 worth of value in the rewards which I'm paying for the privilege of chasing? I'll have to go with "maybe". The equivalent in crowns would get me maybe one or two of the Premium Tier rewards, so it's definitely cheaper than if I were to buy the same stuff from the Crown Store. I don't really mind the challenges as the means of purchasing them, so it's workable for the moment.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

Premium itself is worth the price. There's a few filler rewards in there, like Crown Drinks and what not, but there's some strong cosmetics and mounts. For $15, I think that's a good price.

Premium Plus is not worth the price. It's not worth double just get one more costume and bonus rate.

They really should just make it simple, have two tiers.

No - not worth it at all
Neither Premium nor Premium+ are worth it. Let's look at what you get for your money:
    • 2 reskinned mounts and not very interesting ones either. These are pointless because you probably already have better looking mounts. If you don't you can just redeem the Seals of Endeavor from the free tome and buy a mount with those from the crown crates.
    • Mesa Stalker outfit motifs. These are pointless because we already have plenty of Khajiit motifs for free. You have the basic Khajiit style, Moongrave Fane, Sunspire, Pelletine, Anequina, and New Moon Priest. All of which can be gotten from guild traders and all of them look better imo. You can very easily make a far better looking Khajiiti "stalker" outfit with those and/or some of the other free motifs you can buy for gold from guild traders.
    • Monster Hunter personality. This one's a bit subjective. I don't like personalities since your character still uses their default animations when their weapons are unsheathed, and a large part of the game is combat, so you don't get to see the personality that much. Not to mention personalities don't have unique animations for when you're on a mount or swimming. But maybe you like it, who knows.
    • Shadow Cloak, Dawn Orange. This one is so subtle and the default Shadow Cloak has a red hue anyway, so this one is completely pointless imo. On top of that Shadow Cloak is only really useful in PVP. This seriously should've been in the free tome.
    • Vigor, Dawn Orange. This one is also a bit subjective. It is noticeably different than the OG Vigor. And unlike Shadow Cloak you can actually see it in combat since the effect is more pronounced. So maybe you like it, maybe not.
    • Dungeon Delver Theodolite. Non combat pet. A very garish looking one too. Completely useless imo.
    • Piercing Howl, Dusk Blue and Silver Bolts, Dusk Blue. Lumping these 2 together since what I have to say applies to both. Useless since it's such a subtle visual effect that will get lost in all the visual clutter during combat. And these are combat skills that you can't use without a target so you can't even admire them when you're by yourself.
    • Tome Bearer's Inspiration. Looks like vomit imo. Not to mention it doesn't match the visuals of the rest of the Arcanist's kit. Like, you've got green crux floating around your character while you're beaming with your blue beam, all the while your weapons are glowing a bright orange. So you're paying to make your weapon look like vomit and have it be mismatched with the rest of your class' skills. Not a very good deal tbh.
    • Mesa Stalker Earings. Useless if you wear a helmet. Useless even without a helmet imo since they are so small that they'll get lost in all the visual clutter during combat.
    • Raynor's Traveling Robes (Premium+ exclusive). Just a generic pair of robes with some dwemer scrap metal super glued onto them. There are plenty of better looking robes you can get for free, making these ones completely useless.

And that's basically it. The only things that I can kinda understand wanting are Vigor and the Monster Hunter personality, but it's not worth spending 15, or God forbid, 30 euros just for those. The rest of the stuff is garbage imo. If the tomes were, like 3 euros for the Premium and 5 for the Premium+ then maybe I'd say they're worth it just for Vigor/Monster Hunter, but at the current price point it's not worth it.

Nuanced but for me personally the $15 version is worth the value but the $30 version is definitely not. I am a shameless cosmetic addict who is more than happy to add to my collection in any way I can and the Tome bundle to crown/dollar equivalent is fine pricing wise.

Premium+ is not worth it though. You get one new cosmetic and two cache tomes. For me who plays a lot the accelerated rate and tome caches do not do much other than sitting there collecting dust because the tome has a cap on how much you can earn/rollover and I will easily go past it. I think they should give more to premium plus or consider reducing the price, maybe both. Either way this part of the tomes definitely needs more value or to change.

Can’t vote, because this is completely subjective.

I bought it for the Personality. Granted, it’d have been an easier sell if the Personality allowed permanent prop replacement, but that isn’t how Personalities work (unless they change it, which they absolutely should). But I’m hyper focused on character creation and the like, and I had a character who needed something like that.

I don’t think there’s going to be much for people who aren’t into cosmetics, so at least there are a couple more currencies in there as well. I’ll have to see how the rest go though - I’m still mad at ESO right now, and I don’t want to spend money to support things I disagree with… so we’ll see how the rest go.

Buying all Seasons will be a bit more than the 2025 Pass, and for now new content (since content is free) that feels wrong. So I’ll see how the others play out, especially if the free track gets less rewarding over time (which I fully expect)

The Plus is not worth - double the price, and all you get is a single costume? That costume better be literally magical if it costs $15.

Personally, I think $15 is a good price. Especially if you compare it with the pricing in the Crown store. I also like the fact you know what you're getting upfront.

But I am probably not gonna buy it because I already have so much cosmetics, and the ones included in Premium are not very interesting to me.

Premium Plus - not by a long shot. You're paying extra $15 for an additional outfit.

Personally, as someone who only plays with ESO+, I'd expect the Premium to be included in the ESO+ subscription. I know it's not that simple to pair the two as ESO+ can be subbed and unsibbed, but something like "you need to be subbed for the duration of the season" would work. E.g., season 0 lasts 3 months so 3 "montly sub tokens" would be used to unlock premium. I think 12 for the premium plus is too much. At the very least, I'd expect a discount for the premium. E.g., N% off if you're subbed for the entire time (again sub tokens or something). We can discuss what the N should be. 100% would be ideal since we're already supporting the game on monthly basis.

$15 for a personality, a weapon style, an armor style, and two mounts is a pretty great deal.

Even if you judged it for only the items that are easy to earn, $15 for a personality is on par or cheaper with previous offerings.

$30 for all of the above, a costume, and 2000 free points is not as good of a deal, but still not bad. The costume alone would probably be 2500 crowns (~$25) if it was sold on the crown store by itself.

Everyone has to decide for themselves, for me, at the moment this answer is no. However, that doesn't mean that this is always the case.
I simply don't care about all this cosmetic stuff and I get all the stuff I want in the normal version as well.
Also, I like it more than the daily reward system, because I don't need to grab all the stuff I didn't want/need. another + is that it doesn't matter if I login or not.

Yes - but rewards need to be better
I hope to see more items added to Tomes, extra Seals of Endeavors.

But even now, first Tome seems nice :)

    Premium ($15):
    - 3 mounts (2 wolf mount variants which look more special than most of Apex mounts from many recent crate seasons; two-seater dwemer spider mount)
    - 1 non-combat pet
    - outfit styles
    - skill styles
    - Personality

I might miss some minor stuff, but even like that it's already insane package for such value. Compare it to the cost of 1 costume (1500 crowns is not that rare) or 1 skill style (based on pricing of more special styles, 2000 crowns would be just for the Vigor with rising sun special effect) in the crown store; even any two-seater mount costs 5000 crowns which is much more etc.

    nPJKcOO.jpeg
    5hLwTlh.jpeg

Premium+ is another $15 for the rather nice costume and 4000 Tome Points to spend immediately or save for time of need.

    cgNHwZu.jpeg

Plus, I have a feeling that Premium tome cosmetics won't return to the Bazaar or something, so their collector's value might be the highest of all we can get in the game nowadays.

Premium yes. Premium plus, no. I don't even think it's subjective at this point. The plus reward is a costume. The part of me thinking it's ugly is subjective. The part of it being worth 15 is crazy. Where's the value for money there?

Edit to add. I've told people to look at it like this. For 15 bucks you're getting a pretty decent package of cosmetics and currency. It's sending you to do stuff all over the world and I mean, it's 15 bucks. I've encouraged players in my guilds to not get the 30 dollar pass, if they planned on getting a pass. Most people did plan on it. I will continue to discourage it until it actually has value for money.

No. If we pay for content with real money, why should we have to pay again with virtual currency to get rewards we’ve already unlocked? That doesn’t make any sense.
    • If we pay for content, the rewards should be free.
    • If we don’t pay, then of course we should use virtual currency to buy the items we want.

    EDIT:
    • after we unlock all Skyshards on a map, we can buy them IN CrownStore with real money to have them all on other character. that’s 100% correct.
    • But what if we buy them and still have to discover them all over again on another character? What are we paying for?
It’s exactly the same issue with these “upgrade tomes.” It doesn’t make any sense.

Undecided - I need more time to decide
I'm open to the possibility of buying a premium or even premium plus pass at some point if it's worth it to me, but the current one is not.

My way of deciding these things (for any kind of bundle) is to add up what I would be willing to pay for the items individually and then compare that to the total price. Importantly what I would be willing to pay isn't necessarily what it would typically cost. For example I might decide I'd be willing to pay £5 (about 900 crowns) for a mount knowing full well ZOS would typically charge about 2,500 crowns for it - that just means I'd be highly unlikely to ever buy it. Also that does mean what I'd be willing to pay could be 0 if it's something I don't think I'd ever use.

I won't do a full breakdown here but the short version is that for the current season pass what I'd be willing to pay is a lot less than it costs, so I won't be getting it, but I will consider each future one on it's own merits and maybe one day one of them will be worthwhile.

It really feels like a cheap trick to sell something that is way overpriced in comparison to what you get. But since the Vanus weapons are in the premium slots and they do look cool and also you get them for every weapon style, I guess it is one of these cheap tricks to lure in customers.

I am trying my best to battle against my need to have those weapons because outside of them, I am fine with the basic rewards.
Too bad I already cashed out my extra tomes before reading the fine print that all points over 2000 gets cancelled after the season. So I guess I have to buy this premium only so that I have something to spend my tome points on... Too much information did not get it all.
