Your version of the truth would mean that there is already challenging content in the game, some folks just choose to make it easy by wearing powerful gear. Right? That nonsense aside, group activities are gated by gated by toxic players so it is not an actual choice if one does not have elite gear.

What you're describing is not a Solo player problem, so much as it's a player without peers problem. Solo players simply don't participate in group content because, well.. they're more comfortable playing alone, and thus choose to play solo. Not because other players impede their efforts.
Furthermore, I dunno what you're ranting on about. No group activity is gated behind toxic players. You can do any group activity you like. Toxic players might not let you participate in that content with their group. But nothing is preventing you from putting your own group together, or shopping for groups with players on a similar footing, to engage in said content.

The group dungeons are gated by toxic players.
Toxic players kick other players that do not meet their standards. That is gating.
When advertisement is made in game for a group to form, the group does not belong to anyone. It is PUG.

You're still free to start a group of your own, or find a group of players on a similar footing as yourself. Players can only kick you from a group they created themselves. If the group was filled by the Random Daily activity, it requires a vote-kick of 3 votes. Neither is a form of gatekeeping.
This event is an insult. It isn't even possible for player to get the simple level 2 reward unless they play group content. I left the game this day without playing. <== my opinion. Why should I pay full price for the game when I am only getting half the game?

Many of the base game group dungeons are easily soloable with a companion! There’s nothing in the requirements of needing to complete any of the objectives with a group (with the possible exception of one of the specific dungeons — I don’t recall which all are listed).
Being able to solo nFG1 has nothing to do with gear and pots from group dungeons. That's doable with crafted gear and food+pots from the login rewards.
Not doing 1 nFG1 per day during this event is a choice. 'Toxic elitists' won't kick you, they won't even notice you because they finish this dungeon before they finish their rotation. And you can just take the tickets and the event box.
This is indeed ridiculous. And rewards are mostly meh.FeltyTulip wrote: »BUT you just get ONE reward a day from Bolgrul on one char per account is just ridiculous!!!
This is why Golden Pursuit started 2 days earlier before Undaunted Event so players have enough days to do it.My opinion is that you shouldn't schedule maintenance during events. >:( I always hated this.

Okay, they there is no need for more difficult content because wearing elite gear is a choice. Right?
The 'choice' argument is a failed argument because it assumes that a player should play a certain way or deal with consequences while other players are not required to play a way that is not enjoyable to them. That's wrong. I won't argue it further.

It's not wrong. You want rewards? You play the content.
Or do you want to login and automatically get rewarded the dungeon event boxes, your event tickets, some materials you would have otherwise farmed and some PvP leaderboard rewards too while we're at it?
With dungeons you literally choose how difficult and/or time consuming it is. Nobody is forcing you to do a Lep Seclusa HM no death for your event rewards. You can literally queue up for nFG1 and be done with it in less than 5 minutes.

No gear? Craft the below. Many will do it for free if your new or poor.
Dps: Orders wrath+anything damage related + druid head and shoulders just to fill the spot. All stam/mag, all divines trait, 5 medium 1 light, 1 heavy to level.
Healer same as dps, just go all magic and use resto staff and healing skills.
Tank: 5 pc heavy armor, sword and shield front, ice staff back, in any sets thst looks useful to a group, or just pure survival if your really unsure. All health enchant, reinforced big pieces, divines small ones. Use food and attributes to give yourself 30-40k health.
In q your likely to get a burn group anyway so enjoy the carry and free loot. But being at least thet much geared will let 4 inexperienced players complete without too much trouble.

Anyone can do a normal dungeon but here is the gear, the DPS, Healer, Tank needs and you can use elite pots to double or triple your stats. Just take the ride, let the group carry you, they'll kick you but that won't matter?
This is all so much non-sense. Stop with the excuses.

I think more people can solo dungeons than are aware they can.
I have some advantages - CP2000+ so all the passives and fully bought slotted skills (not that I've ever seen a difference when I change them), gold crafted armor and weapons, Oakensoul and I usually play with a companion and often with a bear.
Disadvantages include nerve issues which mean that a button my brain pushes may or may not get pushed by my hand, dizziness that means that sometimes, I have to stop and close my eyes for a bit (where the bear and companion really are helpful), ability to roll dodge or use ultimates is fairly random.
I'm good at blocking but not at blocking when it's needed and not 30 seconds earlier. I can sometimes avoid a run of the mill clanfear jump but usually get whacked by the tail.
I always thought that my DPS was around 20K so when Xbox got a DPS tracker addin, found out that, yep, I'm right. I rarely break 20k.
But, even with all that, I've managed to solo all the base game dungeons on normal, both 1 & 2 except where impossible, a few of the DLC dungeons with my brother who actually did significantly less DPS than me (he died last year so be nice), and more world bosses than I expected.
TLDR: if you've never soloed a dungeon before, you might do better than you expect. Your DPS is probably a lot higher than mine and your skills fire properly so give Fungal Grotto or Elden Ring a shot. I recommend stopping at the door and checking out what you'll need to kill in the next room before attacking.
I'd avoid Banished Cells because final boss has a heal and companions seem to drag the boss to where the heal spawns so you don't have time to kill it. I don't know if there's a lot of damage from the last boss on Spindleclutch, but the Whisperer does have a lot of grab skills that are annoying.

It is indeed the Opal version, and the one that I got from a purple coffer said "Opal Scourge Harvester." I assume the bound pages from the Impresario also say "Opal," but I'm not in the game right now to double-check.

Soloable by whom? Those that do group dungeon and have the better gear and pots from doing group dungeons? Forgive but I place this in the same bin as 'I can do the whole game naked' claim. I don't believe it. I have not been able to duplicate the claim.
