What would you like to see from 2025's Companions?

umagon✭✭✭✭✭I really want some creature from the void, like the walking nightmare or some orb, or an orb with void energy tentacles. Ideally something that feeds off soul gems and likes when you acquire them no matter the method. It would be great too if it had some type of debuff/buffing aura skills also, and some attack that latched on to low health enemies and ripped their souls out.1 -

“Zerith’s Guidance,” which highlights valuable bags of loot found throughout Tamriel. This capability was not available on console until now.

That would be my dream come true. If I could have a Companion like Count Verandis Ravenwatch I'd never need another. (I'm a sucker for long haired men.)

This is what I really fear.
This is why I am so disappointed in the Altmer we are getting. It means that the next chance to get a male Altmer, is likely going to be a VERY long time in the future (as it took this long to get one) OR, if we do get one, it will be only for crowns.

Probably.
And even if they made a male Altmer, chances are he's not what many people wish for. Could be grandpa age, have a long full beard, could be balding... I mean, I might find on old Altmer Sapiarch interesting storywise (I also found Magister Meln awesome), so as a bonus or at some later point - sure. But especially since they once said they also have companion romance in mind, and only release 2 companions per year, that's not quite it.@Syldras | PC | EU

I'd be disappointed if we stopped receiving new Companions. I genuinely enjoy this feature and I hope we at least get a certain kind of Companion I've been hoping for before ZOS decides to quit. I know plenty of others haven't met their ideal Companion character yet — soon, ZOS will create a character that they'll like. We all just have to wait until that day comes.

I'd be highly disappointed. Companions are one of my favorite features. I don't want content taken from me that I enjoy. And I don't want content taken from others that they enjoy, even if I don't like it. I hope that PvPers enjoy the new BGs and that they get a Cyrodiil update eventually too. There is nothing that I would specifically like to see in whatever companions are released in 2025. My reasoning is that, by having a vision/expectation/wild fantasy for the characters that are eventually presented, I set my self up to be disappointed, when it turns out that they are something other than my expectation.
I have stated what I'd like to see as a new companion before. What was delivered in that latest release of companions confirms that that won't ever happen. I didn't say anything relative to 'don't bother giving us any more companions'.
There was no suggestion by me to remove content, nor to stop making it.I don't want content taken from me that I enjoy.
