Gahh this thread. So they did it better and faster than everyone else. Why hate? That's like telling a doctor "Sorry not everybody has time to spend 80 hours a week in med school". You put in effort into anything, you reap the rewards.

Can't put in effort? It's ok to be envious, but criticism at the end is just words. They did it. You didn't. Grats to them. They made their choice. The haters made theirs...ie...spout salt.

Not gonna disagree with what ur intentions are but you really make it hard for people to not see these threads as boasting when you literally put the words "worlds first" in every single thread and then u proceed to respond to negative feedback with comments like "i dont respond to people like you" or even worse, flat out insulting them by calling them **** and then actually accusing them that they insult you.

To make it a little more simple, you would actually receive a lot better feedback if you simply didnt have the words "worlds first" in ur title. Cause at least then, ud actually show that you care more about ur achievement of doing a 100k score rather than the race to it. A race that many people consider unfair because of the PTS.

Although I would agree that Hodor would be better off eliminating the “Worlds First” boasting, I do not agree it’s unfair because of the PTS access. Everyone on a PC has access to the PTS as long as you have the hard drive space and willing to install it. There is no exluscivity there at all. If Hodor takes advantage of the PTS, reporting bugs that also benefits the community, that is their right to do so, just as it is anyone who has a PC.

As far as console users go, they will never be even out of the gate for the “Worlds First” claim because they are always a couple weeks behind the PC users as far as the updates go. All they can do is take pride in their own accomplishments, knowing they didn’t have the use of add-on’s and other crutches to achieve their goal.

I think this would have been more well received if the title was something like "HODOR tackles Vet BRP + All Achievements" or something similar. You can't say this isn't a brag board in one breath when in the next you are plainfully (and deservedly) bragging. Just own it and deal with haters, or make your boards more approachable and less of a self-pleasuring fest

I said people consider it unfair because of the PTS. I couldnt care less about it. Although i can see how would people consider the "worlds first" achievement not legit when literally more than half of the community (consoles) cant even compete. But i will say that even if the PTS didnt existed or consoles were getting the DLC in the same day i still believe Hodor would be the first to do it and i can understand why Hodor players may actually feel frustrated with this whole thing that belittles their achievement of being first. Because they actually know they would be the first, PTS or not.

Anw my point is that these kind of threads are bragging and thats why people dont like them. So they can cut the crap about "we are just sharing our achievement" or "we didnt want to brag about it" or whatever.
