You undoubtedly ran this several times a week for the entire PTS and then you present it like you just walked in there day 1 and "figured it out".

I believe the issues all stem from that, because bragging about being done first day implies you went in blind and are at such boss level you cleared it in one go.

Thats where the negativity comes from, I for one believe you are excellent players who work well together and do some really interesting stuff, but pretending, or alluding, that these rums are blind is the bottleneck.

He never said they were blind. He said world first. And this is indeed world first. It's not like someone takes a medal away from an Olympic gold medalist because "Wellll, you did win but you also practiced A LOT before the actual Olympics sooo...yeah"

And once again, they never even once said blind. Just to reiterate that.

1) you're showing off your e-pen on a forum; a place where people come to discuss bugs, balance, builds, and general questions. Rarely ever do you get someone in here bragging about a leaderboard score unless they are one of you clowns in Hodor who think the forum community care. In essence, you're pitching to the wrong audience. Go post your achievement on youtube or something where people might care.

2) you're boasting about an achievement to an audience filled mostly of casual players, in a game with literally no competitive scene or future, about a dungeon which you had a month at least to master before everyone else.

The stroking of the ego is strong with these threads. Here's a tip for you, not a lot of us care about what score you got or whether it's a "World first" because most of us have lives outside of the game and don't spend 5 weeks on a test server practising it just so we can keep a clearly evident fragile self-worth in tact.

Do you ever take Wardens on these record breaking runs? I feel like looking at raid and arena completions might give an insight into how effective a class is perceived to be.

And about the new content being harder and harder. I'm glad to know there is content potentially too hard for me yet.

There is a progressive difficulty in this game, casuals will always have content too hard for them. And every time they improve to successfully complete something there will still be a next challenge, and that's awesome.

People are both complaining about the power creep and the content being too hard. There is already a ton of dungeons, in my opinion, it's normal to create harder and harder content for the older players. The newer ones already have all the previous content to play with.

On a side note. That's interesting how people are so not interested in this achievement that they feel the need to click on the thread and express their total disinterest.

It's nice that we still have some competitive PvE in this game and not just average Joes that make sure all things get nerfed.

You could have ignored these responses labeling them as one of your "haters" (which is a little self-aggrandizing in its own way really), but instead you responded with ad hominem and just all around bad form.

You can't say "I don't mean to be offensive" and call someone a "***" (whichever swear word that was meant to be) in the same paragraph. "I don't mean to be offensive" isn't a disclaimer that suddenly enables you to be outright offensive and not suffer the consequences.

I don't have a bone to pick with you or Hodor (I've only heard of your guild by name and that's it) but just wanted to point out that moving forward, if negative responses (and sentiments) isn't what you want, not posting straight up insults and calling people asinine names who have merely disagreed with you in a civilized manner would be a step in the right direction.

Haha. Yeah, anytime someone starts off with a, “I’m not trying to be rude...”, you can guarantee the next thing that comes out of their mouth will be derogatory. I still stand behind my initial assertion that if Hodor posted more of their foibles and less of their “glory moments” people would be far more receptive to their posts. But when all you post is “we’re the best” vids, it naturally invites scepticism and a measure of critical examination. The reactionary and passive aggressive tone Love Wizard seems to take when his vids are subjected to scrutiny does him no favours, too.

If you have friends that play on both console and pc most of them will tell you that the less lag and better frame rates are the real advantage, not the add ons.

The list goes on, and on, and on. More or less everyone who is in the guild at todays date has been contributing in some shape, way or form. Whetever it be to create content for people who want a pointer, whetever it might to display how to play a bossfight, whetever it be to spend countless of hours sitting and responding to questions from people, or helping out less experienced guilds in their raids. So if I myself want to make a forum thread, about something that I do find worthy of being called an achievement then I will. But I really wish some people in this thread could stop using me and my guildmates as scapegoats, just because Zenimax doesn't balance the game you want them to when we have done so much for the community.

I know, it doesn't affect me but I know some of my guildmates does feel down when they read comments like these. We will keep going as we've always done, but I wish people could stop using us as scapegoats for their issues with the balancing issues this game has.

I don't understand the hate against Hodor players here. They're doing good stuff for the community.

Their tank (Andy.S) released their Blackrose Addon he created to the public, can be found here:

It is EXTREMELY helpful and helped my group a ton during our first clear!

Thanks a lot for that, helps the community a great deal.
The add-on has been downloaded almost 1,500 times since its release last week, so I guess the real players who care about endgame are not the ones who actually post on the forums.
