I’m on Xbox and so close to finishing my “Eidetic Memory”


I’m looking for the book “Unhallowed Legions” it drops from bookshelves in the imperial city I’ve checked everywhere for so long and just no luck… has anyone found it at a specific bookshelf? Would really appreciate the help. Thank y’all

In the very beginning of this thread, there's a route for all upstairs bookshelves in IC. I would go through that route on each campaign every day at the same time until you get all the books. Unfortunately, most of those books pop up randomly as the bookshelves refresh, so check them all every day in each instance and again when they reset for the best chance to learn all the books.

It took me awhile to get them all, and I can tell you from experience that it's inevitable, but you need to be patient and persistent. ^^

Ähm, i'm not sure, so just in case... what's the source from this IC-bookshelves Info? my game or my add-on lore books show me an other source. Don't know why, maybe it's wrong.

I was wondering how to "potentially" give a way to get the missing books (minimally those from the quests). Well, why not use something similar to this (picture below) and give a purchase requirement for completing all unique quests from a given region (not counting arena quests). It would work similarly to The Impresario's Catalogue. That is, we buy and unlock missing books (even bugged ones).

Eidetic Memory: Apocryphal Pages etc

Since it seems That the 7 previously bugged Necrom books have changed locations or have been appearing where they've been intended to spawn, I've gone around and searched for the ones still undiscovered around their quest locations, but haven't found one yet. I've also noticed they may have post-quest locations far from their original quest areas, which has made them even harder to track down.


The books are as follows:

Telvanni Tomes:
-Closed By Order of the Abbot
-Communications between Nilphas and Thoryn

Tomes of Tribute:
-Challenge of the Paramount

Apocryphal Pages:
-Ilasabas excuses
-Onri Murien's Hidden Wishes
-Zeniria's Silent Admission
-The Curse of Blackscale Island (post-quest relocated)



I have ran around the city of Necrom many times, and haven't found any new books there, been to High Isle's Rosier's club, nothing new seen, and ran around cipher's middens, not finding anything.


I feel like these might be in out of the way places, and I'm going to run around and explore the wild areas of the map to see if I can't find anything related to these pages. Hopefully someone else might come across one randomly and point it out.

I've been looking myself, but it seems the books just haven't been fixed in this patch. But get 1 more bugged if quest was complete before U39 -> The Curse of Blackscale Island

I think they moved some books across categories. They probably also added a couple new motifs or something to it as well.

On PC some books were moved from Telvanni Tomes to Apocryphal Pages with U39, what seemingly causes to read them again.
And you can (green), exept one (red) on pc (the others still seem to bug).
Check this and the previous page for locations (mostly with pics, thanks to Eisengreifer and all the other helpfull hands), maybe it helps on xbox too.

Edit: oh, what's with Hand of Almalexia Clue, i dont know. Should be fine, i thought...?

Thanks to everyone who has posted locations (particularly with maps!). I'm now back to 5990 with the expected 4 books missing from Apocryphal Pages and 2 from Telvanni Tomes.

7 Necrom books are bugged if you've been able to aquire everything else without those other books being bugged for you, and 28 unavailable motif pages until tomorrow when Dreamcarver comes out. So starting tomorrow that's potentially 6038 iirc.
