Indeed. Then I am in agreement.

I liked the standalone version where any spell could be cast on anyone (giving the desired effect). Of course, it sucked when you healed your enemy by mistake, but...

Guess this goes right along with things like Weakness to Elements causing reduction in SR, not increasing elemental damage (directly) like other versions used to.

I posted this a few pages back, but it bears repeating:

Allow Spell Penetration and Armor Penetration to bypass all Shields.

Example:
I have 40% Penetration and attack dealing 2000 damage.
You take 800, shield absorbs 1200.

NotSo

Give damage shields a cast time. Boom.
Or give them an excessive cast time but last until depleted, that way it's only a good idea to recast when you don't have heat.

It's pretty obvious that's not going to happen. What should happen is for each CC that this ability lets you ignore it should take stamina or it should be like the new reflect scales and only absorb like 4 CC effects.

Bottom line is these two dudes are dealing ***-poor magic damage while feeding him magicka through harness magicka to get the results that they want you to see.

I did far, far more damage to him solo, breaking his shield on multiple occasions. He was struggling to keep up and only did so because he is an excellent player.

This is a terrible example on so many levels.

All this hate towards damage shields, have you ever tried pvping without shields on LA builds? Probably not because you get 1 and 2-shot every 10 seconds. Medium armor builds can dodge multiple times, heavy armor builds can keep block up so what should light armor builds do to stay alive? Cast healing springs on your feet the entire fight?

These threads are getting ridiculous, its not a discussion to improve the balance in pvp anymore. Its turning towards selfish tries to get opposite builds nerfed.
