Zeni, why do you insist on *** us over? Just give us the pet and show you aren't just lost in your own bubble and taking our money while you do whatever you are doing.
If I can't collect every pet that comes out *AFTER* getting the game, then its ***. There should be no exclusive items for new players. Sure, have new offers to show new players, but make sure everyone who is already sub'd gets it too. Just not players *AFTER* the deadline. You can't be serious.abuniffpreub18_ESO wrote: »Posted in another thread:

Hey, everyone. We’ve received many questions about how non-Steam customers can get the in-game ESO Whiterun Wolfhound pet that is currently an exclusive part of the Steam offer. While the grey wolfhound will remain an exclusive through Steam, we will be offering a brown version of the Wolfhound pet (tentatively called the Riften Woflhoud) at some point in the future. Stay tuned for more details on how you'll be able to get your hands on one.
They didn't say the Imperial Edition was limited. They said its content was exclusive - and it's true, you can't get it without buying the IE. Moreover, it was revealed almost right away that standard edition buyers would be able to upgrade to Imperial Edition at any time.jgcasajrnrb18_ESO wrote: »Besides that, I pre-order the imperial edition, as you claimed it was a "limited" edition. Well, I think it is an "eternal" edition, as in almost 4 moths after the release it is still being sold, now half price in Steam. That means we won't have anything unique. On the contrary, we will have the same thing people now will, half priced, except THEY will have a unique pet.
Why would they be compatible? Everything we've been told so far points at the two versions not working together at all. No official word about possible future integration. Besides, you can't link two games to one account.Btw, for those wondering, if you try to enter the Steam CD key into the "Redeem Code" area of your account page it says "you do not qualify for this product." Not sure if it's just me, or if it's because Steam codes are not compatible with existing accounts.
*edit* Submitted a ticket to customer support asking about this. We'll see if such integration is even in the works, or if it can be done manually by support
We have applied your code to your account, There have been a few people who have not been able to apply it themselves and we have been able to apply it ourselves. But most people are not experiencing this issue and have been able to apply it themselves. Can I help you with anything else today Tina?
Yeah im sick of all the BS ZoS has been pulling.
WTF should Steam Compatability/Support, Achievements, Card drops etc and a dog be exclusive to ONLY people who buy 4 months after launch?!
its ridiculous, and obvious ZOS gives 0 *** about current and long term supporters. Anything to make more $$$
*snipped for length*
Steam is a big deal for many gamers.
I don't care about the pet.
I don't care about the price reduction.
All I want is my account linked to Steam so I can participate in their forums, collect trading cards, and generally enjoy the things I enjoy about using Steam to play games.
Hell, as others have posted, I am willing to pay whatever it costs Zenimax to do this (people have bandied about a 30% of box figure, which I would happily pay.) I would have already repurchased the game through Steam if I was able to link it to my current account/characters, but starting over from scratch sounds like about 4 months of repeat work to me...

I don't care if the game is on Steam or not. The game works perfectly fine without it.

6 pages of complaining text and your post is the only one who asks for what, most really wants. In a nice and civil manner.
This is a Steam/Zenimax issue. Starting with Steam. Message steam about it. I did. They will get back to me. (Prob gathering messages regarding this same thing).
You dont have to "start" over. People just need to understand there are and always will be loads of different ways to sell a product. Some get more trinkets with it. Some get less.
What amazes me is that this "issue" seams to be a bigger "problem" then 50% of players are unable to log into the game. Some peoples priorities, I cant understand.

HOW!?
* You mean we get "ignored" for our demand of housing? Oh oh no...thats in their plans now.
* You mean our feedback about high end area being to easy at start? oh....no..they changed that
* You mean our feedback that high end area being to HARD after 50 now? Oh...they changed that.
* You mean combat felt to "clunky" and they should work on it? (Feedback in beta). Oh....they constantly doing that
Do I need to go on? People who support ESO not only support back, but get to INFLUENCE where the game is going!
