There's a difference between a narrative having dark themes vs players insulting other people. Or does racism in guilds become okay because the altmer do it too?
Well, racism has no place but if two adults playing a game call each other names I'd hope they can just put each other on ignore than need customer service to intervene. It's very petty and it feels like a waste of time when the game gives you options to remove yourself from hearing unpleasant people.
So derogatory and hateful remarks DO have a place in this game?
There is also such a thing as having the capacity to not get personally offended or insulted by a thing, yet still recognize the inappropriateness of a behavior and try to have it amended through official channels that are in place exactly for that purpose.
I didn't say that. I just know gamers insult each other, it is what it is. I've been insulted many times in BGs but I just put the ranting people on ignore - I also am not so sensitive that I care if they press the crouch button over me when I chose to be very tanky and annoying.
I think some full adults are too sensitive and since we have an ignore function we can just use that?
I'm also an older person who was taught to try to resolve my differences with others on my own and only go to higher authorities as a last resort. Here I see situations where some people try to bait people into getting their accounts hit with actions and know exactly how the play the system in that way too.

Didnt you already complain about having your account having a strike on it, and that post was removed yesterday? Absolutely noticed the snarky comment about if you needed the players address. Considering yesterday you were so angry that you couldn't just ban people without proof, and had to write a report with player details. So this is what you're going to do now... Post every injustice you see and complain about how you can't bully other people every day... Good thing the forums has a magical report button, because this is getting ridiculous. You need to step away from your computer and cool down for a few weeks. The forums is not the place for your toggled crusade.

You are presenting a straw man argument.
People aren't being betrayed by the existence of vengeance. People are betrayed because they sold vengeance as a test and now they're trying to make it replace live Cyrodiil.
Being real though its what they do. Lets forget vengeance entirely or assume it never happened. Zos the past 2 or 3 times pressured by pvp performance issues just lowered the max cyro population instead of debloating all the combat systems that added lag. Its the obvious choice since it doesn't affect pve and the pvp players dont know its happening if you never tell them. This time around the pop is getting so low the trifaction map gamemode is non functional. I assume on the new One keep map they will go down to 60 player factions instead of 100......kinda wild because in the first two years I remember literally having over 60 players in my emp pushing groups.
If this was inevitably going to happen (as we know now, this was the plan) They were probably trying to find a way to keep cyrodil in the game in some capacity to preserve the zone. Honestly why not just "end the war" and turn cyro into an updated pve zone. Giving you reason to come up with a new pvp largescale mode with new maps after probably almost two decades of design work since it was originally made.
Best case scenario we learned that cutting out all the proc event calls like (sets, status effects, poisons, passives, cp, etc) CAN reduce lag. You are never going to get PvE onboard to gut all those without building a new system, unless you do a "classic" mode or something.
Yet no one asked for the bloat. We didn’t ask for pull sets or 5 paragraph abilities. I remember when Wrobel introduced poisons, no one back then even thought it was a good idea. We were perfectly fine without all the extra stuff that frankly has just become tedious to keep up with. But the mindset was and seems to still be, that ZOS knows what PvPers want more than we know what we want. It’s like we all went on a road trip together and halfway through ZOS decided to change the destination and won’t tell us where we’re going. But all our bags are packed and we can’t get out of the damn car!

Maybe you're the one who needs thicker skin if you feel the need to publicly complain about this. Can't handle being reported for dehumanizing people? Grow up.

The insulting word is visible on the screenshot. From what I know, in the USA, even writing out unaccepted words to factually discuss them is frowned upon. They get replaced by "r-word", "a-word", "l-word", "z-word" (making those up right now as I have no clue) or whatever instead, and people seem to know what it means. Which, honestly, is super confusing for people in other cultures where words aren't taboos themselves and the context is the thing that matters (also, the notion you must describe a thing as clearly as possibly to discuss it), but it's how it is - different cultures, different habits.
Only some of us, most of us do not care a lick. Vocal minority, very vocal make a fuss. Rest of us carry on like adults.
