This is not true at all. Apart from players upset about the need to subclass to stay relevant, every single recommended build since U46 is a subclassed build. Players aren't saying it's not important, they're saying it's disproportionately important.

Subclassed builds (some, anyway) are so far ahead of pure classes that I've seen a post saying that one is trolling the group if one gives up this extra damage from subclassing.

And as someone who dislikes subclassing, I'll say this, I actually do not care how someone else plays, I just want to be able to play how I want (how I've played for years) without falling behind.

Earlier this year our little khajiit, Khenarthi had a cyst on her upper leg break and we found a tumor underneath, after months of trying different strategies to help her, from multiple removals, to chemo, to an experimental injection, we eventually had to settle on an amputation. (The spoiler on the 2nd image is for it being a sensitive image)


Those were some of the hardest times we’ve ever dealt with, I can only imagine what it must have been like being the one actually fighting cancer.

Just know that you’re a shining example of what it means to be a soldier. That you fought it and won, just like our Khenarthi and I have all of the respect in the world for you and what you survived.

Can we please, as a community, for the love of God, stop asking to remove subclassing. It. Is. Not. Going. To. Happen. Very frustrating to see these posts because there is no world where they ever do this. Give constructive criticism and directed feedback on how to make newly implemented systems better... so unhelpful.

I'm saddened to know the artist, Lucas Slominski, was fired, as I found this artwork beyond awesome. So awesome, in fact, I wished the in-game painting were bigger so we could better appreciate the small details. I don't know how the artist is feeling right now, so I'll have to go with the thought that displaying the small painting is a homage to his work.
Double pity he's no longer in the company, though: imagine what else he could have otherwise created. Finally, caring about this person's situation doesn't imply not caring about the others who also lost their jobs. As the OP already said, the topic is about a reward from the current golden pursuit. Nothing wrong in focusing the discussion there.

I have mixed feelings about this, too. The artist's work was so good they thought it was worth giving to every player in ESO, but not good enough to keep him employed? Ridiculous. Laughable. Microsoft's management of its games division has been catastrophic. It should have never been allowed to buy up as many studios as it has.

Hundreds of people just recently lost their job that way. Why does an artist stand out and deserve special treatment? Just because their work is more prominent or recognizable? They got paid as all the others who are gone and whose hard work and passion we still enjoy.

I think if you want to make a big issue of consuming products of a company that is treating their employees that way, you should do that in every regard and not just for the ones right in the spotlight.
