This is horrible. It looks on the face of it plain bigoted bullying. It might not be relevant, but I've noticed that CS seems to have difficulties with LGBTQ+ issues overall. I reported someone in zone chat for calling a Pacrooti's Hirelings recruiter mentally ill for being gay, and I was told by CS this didn't violate any policies. It gave me pause at the time, but I left it alone. Now, with this, I wonder if there's a larger cultural problem in the CS department.
That's actually very concerning.
Why exactly is there an entire thread dedicated to buffing what are already the strongest offensive & sustain skill lines in the game?
Dark Magic on the other hand is extremely underrated for sustain and on a meta sorcblade Crystal Frags very often outperform Merciless Resolve in damage done, while also offering cost reductions & Blood Magic heals. This is due to the buff the skill received in previous patch where it can now proc while on the back bar as well, resulting a lot more frequency in which you can cast it.
The real strength of this skill line however lies in the sustain aspect of it. It is absolutely wild to call Dark Exchange a bad ability because it "has a cast time" when the same ability also:
- Provides a burst heal (8/10k Base Tooltip+Blood Magic passive 3-4k~).
- 3600 Stamina (20 seconds of Warden Netch or 15 seconds of Templar Rune instantly)+additional 240/second for 10 seconds or 4500 Magicka instantly (26 seconds of Warden Netch or 18 seconds of Templar rune instantly)+additional 150/second for 20 seconds.
- Minor Berserk (+Minor Force currently)
There's a whole lot of other nonsense here
Other than that, sorcerer skill lines are more than fine and all of them see use in PvP (yes, even Daedric Summoning).
I just want something to be done so people stop complaining all the time.
There is SO much of ESO that isn't designed for a player like me and I never stress about it. If I run out of things to do in ESO, I do something else. I'd never, ever, even consider advocating major changes that directly affect things other players have been enjoying for years. Content designed for a completely different kind of player. It's okay that it exists. It shouldn't be offensive to anyone that it doesn't work for them.
IMO, it is a fundamental level of respect that has gone AWOL and a big reason why things are the way they are right now.
I don't stress about not doing dungeons; I just don't do them. If a mode were added for me to be able to complete them without relying on other people, then I would do them. I'm not sure how adding a solo/story mode for dungeons would take anything away from people who play dungeons. The dungeons would still be there, in all their versions, for people to enjoy.
People requesting a feature they would enjoy isn't being disrespectful to others; it isn't people complaining; it isn't people being offended. It's just people wanting more fun in their game.
I started playing in late May 2025, right before the update that broke the performance. My PC hasn't changed, my workload hasn't changed, my internet is the same and it's fast and stable (1 gigabit). I never used and don't plan to use addons.9 times out of 10 when someone has issues running ESO on pc, it's on the user's side, not the server. Often the problem is anything from a bad internet connection, overloading the pc's hardware, or even addons, which ZoS is not responsible for.

I mean the forum rules do clearly state that discussions of real world politics are not appropriate on the forum. Personally I'm happy about that, as at least in the US, it's shoved in our faces 24/7.
As for the topic at hand, many Altmer being supremist and generally awful was not at all new or unique to Summerset. As mentioned, it was also written into the story in Auridon, years before Summerset. The Thalmor were central to the main story in Skyrim. And it's been discussed in the lore much earlier than this.

I grew up as an American using "they" for when I don't know the gender of who I am referring to.
