For all of those asking for video proof of WW overperforming, here you go. Keep in mind that some of the players in this video are genuinely amongst the top pvp players in the entire game, getting absolutely obliterated with almost no chance of fighting back at all by a guy weaving two damaging skills with light attacks and 40k hp.

Looks like abusing multiple proc set interactions with static reverberation. Those should get adjusted first before we go calling for nerfs on a playstyle that's been worse than necro for the last 5 years.

this is a pretty "meta" looking build from live used on the PTS with class masteries
My weave is pretty quick, 0.019 with good uptimes on my skills. I'm not missing light many light attacks and I even did the cheese overload start.
I can say this without any quivication, this build is dead. pet builds are dead.

swap in monolith of stroms and mora's scribe
it keeps going until you layer in enough cheesey BS that you end up with
If Static was the problem, then the first no pet parse would be a sudden huge jump. Swapping the sets was a much bigger jump.
adding signet, banner and status knife was an even bigger jump.
My point is, don't arbitratily nerf sorc when it's all this specific combination of stuff that is required to make sorc good at killing the trial dummy
In a lot of content, these options will not apply. It's not viable. Monolith of storms is amazing on the dummy, and the proc does almost nothing in most content. The pylons are too slow to spawn, they take too long to proc the actual damage and it usually misses most of the targets.
Without the 200 spell damage per pylon it's a really really bad set.
But on the dummy you get 100% uptime very easily. This is not realistic.
Almost every skill at the top of a sorc parse has NO CLEAVE.
Crystal Frags, bound armaments, static reverb, your spammable, concussion, light attacks. This is what is sitting at the top of a sorc parse.
Sorc dps is good at one thing only, and that's single target dps. It's ok to let sorcs be the best at that. It's fine for them to be 5% or even 10% above the rest if that's the only thing they are doing.

We already know it's Winterhold.
And to be honest, I have no specific wish for a region before I've seen if the writing quality has improved now that they're not releasing a big zone every year. I don't want to see a region I find specifically interesting being wasted.

There is no defending how broken this is.
This person is covering up their ability bar and add-ons, so I think this video is disingenuous. We would need full transparency if something is really going on otherwise who is to say this player is not simply exploiting---either in sets or in class mastery passives or other interactions we haven't thought of, those appear to be the real overpowered element.

on vestige (or in general) they do way too much damage and dont loose nearly as much as I do. Seems like my companion is way stronger than me
I understand they are supposed to help us but I dont think they should make more damage or have more health than the player and I know they cant really play smart or roll dodge well if at all but at least reduce the values somewhat.

Sorc pets aren't even that good anymore, at least with subclassing; this "pets are strong" narrative from ZOS feels a little late to the party

I don't think the feature has been abandoned but to be frank (although I'd like to be Steve) about it, the devs are currently busy overhauling alot of different things such as the recently added Overland difficulty to PVP in Cyrodill and other long overdue changes.
I personally don't mind waiting a year or two for a new deck. Im an avid ToT player but it's more of a side feature than anything.

I hope this is the right place to talk about skill styles, it felt like the best place to potentially do so of the options on the list. I will say I appreciate the "no weapon override" version of molten and letting players choose, that's awesome to see. I also appreciate trying to give players green skill styles to replace the loss of the old poison morphs but I have two complaints about them overall.
1. While I like the green fire, part of what I liked about the original Noxious Breath was a cool orange/green gradient.

I am not necessarily asking for this to be changed currently (completely green fire is cool and there is a need for it as a skill style imo), but I would like an offering of the orange/green gradient style in the future (as well as possible other gradients of orange/blue orange/purple or even color combos like blue/purple) for this skill style. It has a lot of potential and one of my dragonknights in character uses flames of various colors in dance and combat and I would like a way to represent that better.
2. I am disappointed that Hearthfire was not considered for a legacy skill style and I would like to see that changed/added. Ash Cloud was a very cool skill that was a big part of my dk healer's identity. I had hoped that with talks of legacy skills for DK we would maybe see a black Hearthfire skill style that could at least give us a little bit of the old look for Ash Cloud and I would very much like for it to be considered in the future if it's not in the scope of this pts.
