As if killing 1000 enemies plus 100 bosses wasn't enough to keep up with, now there's a short term Golden Pursuit. No, neither of those things fit in MY normal play schedule.

Can we have some down time? When I can choose what **I** want to do?

Can we just have some time with only 1 thing? Not constant new quests. new zones. etc? (while older zones remain bugged)

I am so burnt out on the game already, please ZOS, just let us PLAY sometimes!

Let me get it straight:
1. You've done two 90-days tasks in one week.
2. You are burned out
3. So now you request ZOS to stop adding anything for all players, because you cannot take a pause voluntarily?

Sorry, it doesn't look like a problem of the game or devs.
You have to solve it on your own. I believe you'll manage it.
Only you, and nobody else, decide how you spend your time in the game.

I was wondering what the reasoning is behind having a timer to get kicked out of a dungeon after everyone leaves the group? It can't be for cutting down lag, because if 2 people stay in the group the dungeon is infinite as long as one stays logged in. I enjoy going back and getting resources, treasure chests or anything else at a slower pace after the speed runner has ruined the dungeon. I wish ESO would take this timer out, so players could enjoy the dungeon at their leisure.

But, you think zos IS telling you how to play?

Despite all the chest pounding and boasting in this thread from the Vengeance fans, it is on day two already a dead campaign. Everyone is seemingly just logging in on their ep toons to take everything, so much that while ep is over 4K points already, everyone else is under 1k. Thats pretty telling. And yes I know it resets early, even with the math incorporating this, this is really really bad, and in fact if it wasnt regularly resetting, the difference would be even greater.

This campaign is actually deader than Ravenwatch and Blackreach, impressive. And Zos decided to halt our very competitive, very active Greyhost pvp, for this. Pvers claim they want Vengeance yet not enough of them are saying this to make the campaign function, much less make it competitive.

Give it a rest Zos, and focus again on Greyhost. This is ridiculous.

It’s a good reminder why GH is, rightfully, faction locked.

It's amazing how many people in this game think that every reward is supposed to be for them and want to quit if they can't have literally everything without doing all different types of content.

Night Market is group content. There's some bonus cosmetics for grouping. You don't even have to know anyone. There's a group finder, dungeon finder, and zone chat. I'm almost done with the world bosses by just sharing my daily quests in Solstice with other people doing them.

I get there are legitimate reasons a person cannot group. So, if this task was a huge turnoff for you, I don't blame you. But you gotta expect that if you cannot or will not do all of the content in the game, that you also won't get all of the rewards. They left the currency behind solo play. The group play is only needed for cosmetics. Cosmetic rewards don't impact gameplay.

Nobody is being forced to group for an important gameplay reward e.g currencies or powerful items. It's just an optional activity for some cosmetics.

I swear, I really don’t understand players in ESO. I just don’t.

• Do we have too much currency now? Yes, we do.
• Do we have too many things to do? Yes, we do.
• Do we have more places to get different rewards? Yes, we do.

But here’s the thing: we don’t have to do everything. We can skip what we don’t care about.

Seriously, it’s a good thing for the game to have more content than we can handle. That’s how you get diversity. Some players enjoy one type of content, others prefer something else, some don’t like any of it, and some enjoy everything. That’s fine.

ESO gives us things to do in the game. Whether the rewards are good or bad, it’s still better than just paying for loot boxes. That’s healthy for the game. Don’t have time to do everything? Then just do what you can.

I’m not saying I love everything in the game. In fact, I really dislike all the nonsense around Subclassing, DPS chasing, logs, gatekeeping, toxicity, and all that. But I genuinely appreciate that ZoS keeps giving players things to do.

Let’s recognize that this is good for the game. None of this content is hurting anyone’s gameplay. Instead of complaining about having options, let’s focus on pushing for the changes that actually matter.

Uhh… I guess? So you’re going to show your displeasure at not getting a reward by… refusing to get the reward? This definitely is very “cut off your nose to spite your face” here.

Like… if you don’t want to do the thing, nobody’s making you. There’s plenty to do in game outside of [checks notes] getting yet another noncombat pet to clog the collections menu. These are rewards for people who do these things, so if you don’t normally do them you can either 1) forgo the rewards that aren’t meant for you, or 2) try the things you don’t normally do to get the rewards.

Heck, I came to this game as a soloist, but the rewards for doing group content got me into that, and I loved the game more for it. I had so much more to do and accomplish once I broke out of my shell.

But being mad that a playstyle other than yours is getting rewards for engaging in their playstyle is… a choice. Not everything needs to be for everyone. And if you reject large parts of the game, you are only limiting yourself.

Color me "just wow". Pursuit has barely been up for 9 hours, the seals are obtainable completely through solo activities, and you're claiming that you're going to turn off the game (one supposes for the next week since that's how long the pursuits lasts) because you can't get an emote and a pet without grouping? Just wow.

What's funny is this can't be a "must-have" cosmetic for them, as their solution is not playing - resulting in not getting the cosmetic.

They could just as easily continue to enjoy themselves for hours with the same result - maybe not getting the cosmetic.

I just don't really understand. I skipped Golden Pursuits all the time if I wasn't that interested in the reward and didn't feel like doing what it wanted me to. Not a big deal.

You have to let go of all of it. Free your mind.

One good thing: It's always interesting to see what toilet furniture ESO's housing enthusiasts cobble together. Very creative!
