I assume it's somewhat preparing you to experience teamwork with other players once Night Market starts next week.

Color me "just wow". Pursuit has barely been up for 9 hours, the seals are obtainable completely through solo activities, and you're claiming that you're going to turn off the game (one supposes for the next week since that's how long the pursuits lasts) because you can't get an emote and a pet without grouping? Just wow.

I think I'd disagree on this. The only parts of the game which absolutely cater to single-player are the Main Quest, the two guild stories, and solo arenas. There might be a quest or two in there somewhere among the ~2500 in the game which go to solo instances at some point, but the rest of the game supports either approach.

Good point. And the Golden Pursuit when the solo mode comes will have pursuits like:KalevaLaine wrote: »Single player dungeons are coming, so don't worry.

- Finish 3 group dungeons in solo mode.
- Finish 5 group dungeons in solo mode.
- Finish 10 group dungeons in solo mode.
- Finish 3 group dungeons with a companion in solo mode.
- Finish 5 group dungeons with a companion in solo mode.
- Finish 10 group dungeons with a companion in solo mode.
What is it? NOT EVEN WITH A COMPANION?
What the heck is wrong with soloing dungeons? By any chance ZOS has now a "Therapeutic Department" trying to "cure" the loneliness of solo players?
To group with a bunch of toxic, impatient, selfish players is MANDATORY to finish the quests? Maybe ZOS has the illusion that every ESO player is surrounded by BFFs playing happily together?
Every time something completely BONKERS happen in this game that makes me completely lost.
What a mess. This really makes me sad.

Well, the "teamwork" I experienced today was being grouped with a friend - while he wasn't even online the whole time - , just for my character to have "grouped" status, so whatever I was doing alone counted for the golden pursuit.
I thought the Night Market was supposed to be an attempt at having more difficult content, which needs several players present for completion, without needing to group? Basically like the Writhing Fortress last year?

It's preperation for the Night Market - a group orientated zone. /shrug
