The problem is that the people who were enjoying the very competitive month of GH suddenly have to put it on hold for this game mode that could’ve been run side-by-side. Like I said in another thread, the people that play GH will play GH and the people that play Vengeance will play Vengeance. But instead, all we get is Vengeance.
INCREDIBLY competitive
it was like 3 in the morning or something and it came down to the last couple seconds and it actually tied lol, havent seen that happen in a few years. EP won because of potential points being the decider and the actual score being tied.
I normally don't care about who wins, not since the campaign rewards have sucked so much especially, but that was a really fun campaign, and there was soooo much fighting going on.
It really, really sucks to have that brought to an immediate halt for vengeance where you'll likely never see something like this happen, ever. Same with BR and Ravenwatch.

I used to PVP in GH a lot but the ball groups killed it for me.
I tried Vengeance first test and a bit the second but it got very boring very fast. I don't know the answer but replacing the other campaigns with Vengeance does not seem like the right answer for me at least!

Yeah I don't like this change either. I didn't mind doing IC Dailies or Cropsford Dailies for tickets (now bars).
Even if the event is more common, so what? We've been given a *** more things to buy. PvPers have every right to be angry about this, but it's also a bad sign of future cases where more sources of bars will get removed, and that's not good for ANYONE.

Leave a non-alliance locked campaign outside of Vengeance if you want to keep Grey Host alliance locked. Edit: Discussion on this thread.
I get Vengeance is there for casual players, but it's a washed down lack-lusting version of pvp. Considering the cost of alliance change tokens, and how most players have chars on all 3 alliances, it is a big "you can't play actual pvp on over half of em".
I would suggest to not make Vengeance permanent since it's clear people like regular Cyro way more, but it's pointless considering how adamant ZoS is about it.
PvP in ESO in 2026 feels like the Monty Python's Spam sketch. We'd like the egg and bacon, you can keep the Vengeance off, thanks.

I think temporary swarming of zones is a good thing because it helps people who cannot solo bosses get their achievements/map completion/lead drops in zones that are usually dead. I remember when I was new and asking for help with bosses on Vvardenfell. I didn’t get responses but I also couldn’t solo the bosses. If you’re an explorer who does zones in a specific order and that order might have you in Wrothgar right now, then I could see frustration because you “can’t” leave to go to another zone. But I think this is great for players who are unable to solo.
Edit: my polite suggestion would be to move to another zone, do instanced questing, solo dungeons, work on housing, play another game, do anything but be where the action is if it frustrates you. Then when the swarm dissipates, return to what you were doing.

Bit of a bigger update, there are 12 new books on Tamriel Tomes season zero, page 7 for 350 tome points; Furnishing Pack: Armor Principles. Aside from each of these books being armor skillbooks, this bundle includes probably the best looking book furnishing I've seen so far, The Master's Hall. May have to put this one on a plinth at some point. These books are currently on a new shelf to the left of Apocryphal Tome in the rare books room, if you want to preview them first (page 7 is a bit of a grind). Also a reminder that some houses recently were 'promoted' in terms of furnishing cap category; you may have more room than you think.
