Now that we are well under way on our server hardware upgrade project, it's time for an update. Most of you reading this know that we successfully replaced the PC North American megaserver's hardware back in May, and we have been hard at work planning, ordering, and preparing for the PC European server upgrade.
The last time we gave you an update, I mentioned that timelines to order, prepare, and configure this amount of hardware would take many months, and unfortunately those timelines have only gotten longer. Even though we ordered the hardware for PC EU long ago, we still are waiting for some critical parts, some of which are foundational to the whole service.
To be completely transparent, it will take about ten more weeks before all the pieces are delivered. Then the process of building and testing begins, which takes weeks longer. Based on what we know today, we anticipate everything being updated, tested, and running the live version of the game around March 2023. We expect the hardware upgrade for the console servers to be sometime soon after that.
I know this probably isn't the news you all wanted to hear - we are in the same boat. We all want this process to be faster than it is possible to be. We will continue to do this absolutely as quickly as we can, as soon as we can.
We'll check in towards the end of the year with an update and a firmer date. Until then, thanks for the patience.
Hi All! We want to thank everyone again for submitting questions! Dhulef of the Mages Guild has come back with some answers. So we are opening the thread back up! You can find those in the article titled: Loremaster’s Archive—Tamriel’s Dungeons.
We also have an official discussion thread for Loremaster’s Archive—Tamriel’s Dungeons. We want to make sure anyone who did not comment in this thread also has a chance to at least read your questions as well. So feel free to jump between these two threads to engage in conversation.
Tomorrow, August 24 beginning at 4am EDT, we’ll be publishing a hotfix for the PC NA and EU megaservers that will fix the issue where ranked Tales of Tribute players had been unintentionally dropped to a lower rank after Update 35 launched. This maintenance will require downtime. Once maintenance is complete, everyone will be reset to their rank just prior to Update 35 launching.
In the event you had both re-gained your previous rank and also advanced beyond that prior to us locking the Tribute campaigns yesterday, and you did not receive your rank up rewards while the campaign was still open, we will be granting those rewards separately during a maintenance scheduled on September 6.
We anticipate tomorrow’s maintenance finishing by 7am EDT. Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone, we are still discussing this issue internally but one thing we'd like you to try - could someone that previously couldn't launch the game but successfully hooked it up to an external source swap the settings so the game is in windowed mode, then try to launch it on the native screen again? Thanks in advance!
