It was a toss between subclassing and AwA, because they both rendered playing with alts more limiting or downright pointless, but I went with subclassing, because I don't like changes that homogenize the game and destroy variety, and (at least in the PvE side of things), all the players I know--damage and support included--are running the exact same thing, and before people say that has always been the meta, no, it wasn't; before subclassing there was still space to be competitive with different classes (and even different gear), now the beam meta (and the respective popular healer/tank lines for supports) have pigeon hole'ed everyone in the exact same way. ESO was great for people who like to play with alts, it wasn't designed with the 'jobs' feature in mind that FFXIV has, and now with subclassing that's essentially what we got. I subclassed my toons because I want to stay competitive to help my groups, but now the only reason I might choose an alt over another one is simply for aesthetics...

'Have to' why? based on what logic? and who is the intended audience? more importantly who is 'making you do it'?

However it does explain why I find some changes baffling. They weren't intended for us the players. They were for whomever is 'making them do it'.

It makes zero sense. They dropped Subclassing with pretty much no consideration about how it would affect combat, giving everyone who uses it properly a massive power boost, but they won't hybridize potions and food because it "could" be too strong? What's the logic here?

Do you have any feedback on the event quests?

In the PTS Patch Notes v11.2.0, Heart's Week states "In his series of four quests, you learn all about the holiday and how love has many forms, from the mythical romance between the lovers Polydor and Eloisa. ..."

This is further emphasized by "Heartsick Follies: Help a theater crew put on a play honoring the love of Polydor and Eloisa."

If I didn't read the PTS patch notes, I would not have known that the quest was about Polydor and Eloisa at all. I looked through all the dialogue I recorded, and I could not find any mention to their names anywhere.

Polydor and Eloisa were first mentioned in the first Elder Scrolls game back in 1995, and I am the type of person that gets excited when something obscure finally gets referenced. This would be 30 years later when it is finally expanded on so I was disappointed that their names were not mentioned. Not everyone reads patch notes either so the average person will not know what it's about. Unless it was changed last minute to not be about them, is this quest still intended to be about them?

My suggestion is to please include mentions of Polydor and Eloisa in-game, and maybe add a book next to Kuzam-jo that expands on Polydor and Eloisa, as I enjoy the creativity the writing team has for Tamriel's holidays.

Is there anything you would like to see in future iterations of this event?
I'd like the Impressario to have unique dialogue for when Heart's Week is active.

Also, an in-universe explanation on how Heart's Day transitioned from a day to a week and is now known as Heart's Week would be cool.

A more interesting dynamic would be to place the mark on a target.
You deal x% to that target, but the target also deals x% to you
you also deal -x% to all other targets, but all other targets deal -x% to you

So basically placing the mark on the target puts you into more of a 1v1 environment between you and the target which is fitting in terms of "the hunt" theme. So you do not hurt or get hurt by outside enemies as much. The X value could then be changed up to 10 to 15%. I would add a heal to the kill bonus to help reset the fight and enter into the next hunt.
