Removal of Proc Sets from PvP Confirmed!

I am personally super hyped about this. I was concerned that they would do individual "balancing". You know, reducing damage on that set, increasing cooldown on this set, etc. etc. - which would just be a bandaid. I am very excited about the decision they took on just removing the proc ability on sets alltogether, when in Cyrodiil. RIP proc addicts.Cant wait for the update to hit the servers...

VD is confirmed to still be working though, which makes sense, since it is purely PvP targeted. But yeah, RM and Viper will be junk.

There are currently sets that exist, like Marksmen's Crest, that have conditional effects based on your target being a player. It probably wouldn't be too far of a jump for ZOS to make the reverse, conditional effects based on your target being a non-player.

Exactly, not that I actually believe any of this at the moment. Procs like Kena, Clever Alchemist, etc. are different in that they don't proc direct damage. Marksman is selective against NPCs, VD is selective toward other players. There's a separation already in place for many sets as far as what works on player characters and what works on NPC's.Edited by Sandman929 on 17 November 2016 16:470 -
