About this Mac:
Since the 64 bit client (and the rest of the update- cannot pinpoint exactly where the issue stems, but I assume its the new client), it seems like ambient occlusion and shadows play a lesser role in the image I see.
I took 2 screenshots to demonstrate what I usually see, one with Ambient occlusion turned on, and the other with it turned off. I can't tell which is which.
All locations outside of a direct source of light no longer have shadows whatsoever, and this makes for some pretty unrealistic lighting scenarios in a lot of indoor locations. To be honest, some areas are even reminiscent of Morrowind without the correct shadows in place.
Other issues:
- I've been experiencing crashes in PvP. These ones have been unique in that the screen does not turn black but turns white instead and I generally have to manually shut down the program. There is usually no crash reporter.
- Items and areas will load within my visual range in a much more noticeable fashion. Sometimes they will just appear, others they will go from low quality to higher quality, but every time it is a flicker that draws the attention, and detracts from overall quality.
- On some occasions upon logging in, the landscape would obtain long shadows on areas that are at an angle to my POV, meaning that there are dark lines and blobs that show up the further outward I look into my environment, taking the place of regular textures/shadows. This is not all the time, though when it did, it occurred in Glenumbra and Cyrodiil after logging in with Minimum settings. It does not often occur when I log in with the maximum settings, but that all might be coincidence.
(A screenshot of the last bug mentioned; taken after having logged in on minimum settings and changed to ultra high while in the character select screen):
The area of note is in the center of the screen, and while it is small in comparison to the environment here, in areas with a lot of variation in landscape depth, it becomes increasingly noticeable.
Got same in Wrothgar, EU/PC 64 bit client. Killing durzogs made static noise. Those creaks in me head! Butterflies, flap, wheeze, water, gnrrr, must ... concentrate ...lordrichter wrote: »Noticed a number of audio problems in Wailing Prison using the 64-bit PC client. Overlapping sounds, static (abnormal) sounds, sounds that start and stop abruptly, and maybe even sounds playing at the wrong speed. This seems to be related to the horn that constantly plays. I am not an audio person, so it is hard to describe. One sound is like the last gasp of someone choking while breathing through a straw. Other sounds sound like they are in the wrong place, like chains and cages that squeak, but are too close to me. I swear that someone ran the needle across an old music album and put that sound into the game, too. Every so often, there is a very loud (louder than all other sounds) burst of static. I also think there is a cat dying in there somewhere.
Edit: added client info... because I was not in the 64-bit thread like I thought I was.
Slotting Blazing Shield is not granting the Piercing Spear passive. All other Templar Aedric Spear abilities and morphs besides it are properly granting the 10% Critical Damage increase. While tested on PTS 2.3.4, this bug was encountered on Live servers.

No aggro, no bounty, I walk back into the city; a guard immediately accosts me again, and demands I pay my 0g bounty. I do to see what happens; all my stolen items are subsequently removed from my inventory, along with absolutely no gold.
If you have no aggro and no bounty, guards shouldn't accost you, as they have no reason to.
