I agree with the overall sentiment. It's a business transaction, but there's more to it than that for a hobby like playing an MMORPG extensively. I have a hunch we'll be hearing something next week regarding the Imperial City and overall battle plan, but that is purely speculation on my part.
There's new content?

@Elijah_Crow , what a delightfully accurate analogy, I think.
Steering a ship down the road ahead...
I think that probably sums it up (even if unintentionally!)

You dont know what the reason was, there are more things to take in consideration than just the status of the game. I can understand if someone changes jobs because he wants to take a different direction in his career for example.

Exactly. Some people cannot stay in one place. They come in, do great work, but get bored and need to move to something else after a while. I find this property in leaders more than followers.

So everyone complains about not getting new content and then when two main pieces leave and they complain because they left?
Is this not a GOOD thing? Could things be going down the drain? Sure.... but that is more short-sited with all the money to be made on the consoles.
Companies work on the premise of invest $X and get $X+Y%, there is a lot of money that can be made with consoles as we move forward. Put all new content on DLC and start the release cycle in November in time for the Christmas lists to come out.
