So right before the last maintenance a few days ago, I found this floaty rock and took a picture and since my cat is magical I tried to make it look like she was the one making it float.

You really don't. It's awful.
Unequipping the staff only stops it until you equip it again. Relogging only works until you use some skills with the staff again. So yeah, totally messed up.
Also, multiple guildies have told me they experience it as well, so it's not an isolated glitch.
This is caused by the un-morphed version of Solar Flare.
If you morph it to Dark Flare it won't happen anymore.
Has been an issue FOREVER.
Maybe Jessica will notice and pass it along.
I can confirm it's the Solar Flare. I have it on my destro staff. I kinda like it, helps me see better in dark places

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! As soon as I heard him say "SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM" I began laughing, uncontrollably... Tears rolling down my face... Go outside to stop laughing... But, I just continue laughing about this video to myself as my neighbors watch me like I am a crazy lady. It has now been 9 minutes of laughing, and I can not stop.
Needless to say, this made my damn day

✭✭I snapped some fun screencaps today before the servers went down.
After an AA run that would have been quite non-stressful except that I disconnected about 80% through and had to run all the way through the dungeon, only to disconnect again right before joining the party at the last warp point and having to run all the way through again, I decided some fishing might be a nice peaceful pastime...
And then I got a little discombobulated doing my blacksmithing writ...
On a more serious note, I do hope that this fix also fixes whatever has been causing the frequent lag spikes and disconnecting for the last few days. The Breton outfits (first and third) still use a deformed male torso instead of a female torso, which leads to... Well, that. Outfits on the second and fourth pics are looking right, and therefore being used as comparison.
If you are not seeing it, the problem is that the character ends up with one big breast and no separation between them. It is like if their stern bone moved forward.
I know the first one even left the Crown Store already, but it is one of my favourite outfits in the game (especially now that I can dye it) and it would be so nice if it was fixed...Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.2 -

Yes, will do. A month or two ago, we had passed along a list of armors and costumes that were displaying something similar (possibly the same thing.) We'll add the two you pointed out to the list.
