They should have the ability to abandon the entire quest chain. Especially for "gateway" quests - silly of them to think that nothing will ever go wrong. And when they found this quest was bugged they should have shut it down so it can't trap anymore ppl.1

First time in Cyrodiil, just trying to learn what to do but seems I am now in same boat as others. I do have other characters I can bring in and skip it, but wanted to play this one.0

DrWily2000Soul ShrivenI have to say, I'm really disappointed with this bug. I've done PvE to Craglorn and vet 12, and only entered Cyrodiil for the first time 3 days ago, when this bug was first reported. Until this is fixed, I don't feel like I can properly play PvP.

"Please, try be patient as we find a remedy for you and stay tuned to any server update (currently on 1.1.3, please make sure you have updated your game server) that comes about as they will always ensure you with a better gaming experience than before. Please, don't let it from further exploring Tamriel, as there are always many other quests to find."
Whats wrong in this piece is:
1) Why do we have to wait on a patch, an in-game GM can remedy the situation by editing the character sheet for the time being since they still have not addressed the problem.
2) I didn't realize an MMO can be played on an older version, if your going to hire tech support from India at least make sure they have a clue.
3) This bug IS stopping me from further exploring Tamriel...
That being that for a game that I've had to shell out money for in advance and maintain a subscription the game quality & customer service are HORRIBLE.
With the countless bugs and problems I have run into with this game you could get away with slapping "BETA" on it. This game is not finished, the fact that the Xbox One & PS4 versions are not out yet is proof in itself.
Zenimax as we are paying you for this, we EXPECT you to stay on top of these problems your lack thereof is going to cost you in the long run. I for one have cancelled my subscription, I may come back once you've hit the concrete and realize that your only option to regain players may be with a F2P model.
First impressions count alot, and your impression displays:
"We don't care about your game play experience, just give us the money."3
