Siege Warfare quest in Cyrodiil bugged?

What if you have abandoned the quest? I couldn't get it back after that. Will I get the quest or will quest boards work or how is this problem solved?

Not yet fixed for me! I abandoned the quest and started it again, but hits with the catapult and the trebuchet do not register.

Yeah, this quest should be fixed with today's patch (but keep in mind it hasn't been deployed on the EU megaserver yet). @Nomana, are you on NA or EU?

It works on the NA server now. So what about making good on players that were affected? Not even an apology? PVP was broken for over a week for many players, while you continued to charge our credit cards.

I guested into a yellow campaign just now to make a skyshard run since Bloodthorn is all blue, and I tried the quest just for kicks. Surprisingly, it worked and now I can get Cyro mission board quests. Can other people try this to confirm whether or not this is a consistent workaround?

Yeah still not working on EU. Been over a week now that I haven't been able to finish the intro quest to get access to mission boards on my alt.

Really pissed of about it. How can a freaking introduction quest be broken this long? I understand if you let some tiny side-quest slip for a while, but not something as important as this, that's blocking all the daily quests.

Anyhow knowing it's getting fixed in a few hours makes me rage a bit less lol.

EU hasn't been patched yet. I believe maintenance is scheduled for 3am tonight.

While I am grateful I can actually progress because the bug has been fixed, I am also a but confused. Multiple people and sources have claimed that finishing the "Siege Warfare" quests would reward you with 2 skill pts as opposed to skipping the quest and getting only 1 point.

Well I waited over a week for that one extra skill point but when I finished I only got ONE skill pt. Were others mistaken and it only ever awarded 1 pt or was the skill pt award adjusted down to one skill pt along with the fix?

@PlagueMonk Actually the quests gives you enough PVP rank XP for 2 levels, that's where the skill points come from

To recap:
- For those affected by this game-breaking bug, PVP quests were broken for around 2 weeks.

- During this time, Zenimax did nothing to alert players and was unresponsive. New players could have avoided this bug, but Zenimax didn't care to tell them how!

- Not once has Zenimax acknowledged the troubles and irritation caused to players, and an apology has also been lacking.

Really? I know you money-grabbing folks would definitely not give free game time for those affected, but not even an apology? Not even an AP / XP multiplier or something along those lines?

Zenimax sold us something that was broken, they kept charging our credit cards, and they have shown little to no care for the gaming experience of players. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I just tried to complete this quest and was able to get credit for hitting target just fine, however the next step in the quest is bugged for me.

I am unable to use the repair kit I was given on any of the seige weapons...

I'm not bumping an old post for the wrong reason... but this may help other players that visit this thread trying to figure out how to use the Practice Siege Repair Kit whilst completing part 2 of the Siege Warfare introduction quest.

The Practice Siege Repair Kit is located in your inventory as a Consumable items and it needs to be added to your Quickslot bar, then use it like any Quickslot item whilst standing at the Siege Weapon.

It wasn't until I read the Practice Siege Repair Kit item details that I realised I was trying to use it incorrectly, so I hope this helps others in the same boat...

Hello people!

Even if it is said that "Welcome to Cyrodiil" quest bug was fixed I still experience some problem with taking quests in Cyrodiil. The problem is that one of my character can't take any quests in Cyrodiil (from alliance quest board or local quests, like "kill goblins" in the villages of Cyrodiil). With this character I've finished the "Welcome" quest, got access to other quests but then I've accidentially abandoned several of them because sometimes they become obsolete (like taking elderscroll from the keep that you already own) in the hope to retake them later and receive an actual task. But now I can't take any quests anymore. I tried to change my home server but it didn't help. And now I don't know what to do. My character is already V5 level, I played him for a year and I don't want to start over again by deleting him but my PVP levelling due to an absence of quests is so very slow! I even agree to reset my PVP experience if it helps and could somehow be done.

One should also notice that because of this bug I became clever with my other characters, I try to avoid abandoning quests in Cyrodiil and I must say that I don't have such problems playing other characters. But still, I can't progress normally with my principal character.

Can anyone please advice how this problem could be solved?

ZOS tech support team answer would be highly appreciated!

AUGUST 3rd, just started a campaign (at level 17) and really enjoying this game even paid for eso plus.....UNTIL NOW> stuck in campaign because I cannot repair a siege engine. There is a bug...STILL...this is ridiculous...get me the **** out of the campaign and back to solo questing at least that worked....really ticked off this is a major bug!!
