Siege Warfare quest in Cyrodiil bugged?

I hate having to wait for a long time for a patch, just so they can patch everything at once, when they should be able to just hotfix or patch things like this right away. I've done this quest on another character, but didn't realize it was broken and picked it up on another. Now I'm stuck, like everyone else.. and apparently never know when this will be fixed.. But as far as the previous poster goes, MMOs are never *finished* when they are released.

So I'm just coming up to this step on my 3rd reroll be a use of it. Will Ibe able to use the battle boards if I just ask to skip training from the grand warlord?

that is what i've been wondering, unless skiping traing makes you go to the siege firing range, this should work. Don't forget to stop by the elderscrolls temple for the skyshard

I have the same problem but only the fire ballista works, the other ballistas or siege weapons doesn't

All multiplayer games have broken bits, even after years of playing them. But yeah, this ones broken for me too, and it needs to be high on the list to fix, because it's a deal breaker in Cyrodil. Every player that hits level ten is going to start hating on the game now. At the least, just kill the quest and forget about it.

But its needed one way or another to get at the bounty boards. I was posse when my lvl 10 sorc was actually contributing in PvP battles but I couldn't benefit from the bounty missions. I rerolled with the intention of skipping training and loosing the ap just to get access to the PvP missions. The fact they're not really acknowledging this or fixing it in the las patch is a joke I couldnt care less about my achievement showing but f'ing me out of gold and ap is unacceptable.

Having the same problem. I wanted to try PVP for the first time since Beta. Jokes on me!

Can someone suggest a work around? I really wanted to try out Cyrodiil. Do I need to do this quest?

I'm going to try bypassing the siege training tonite or tomorrow I'll post my findings about the bounty boards activating.

Just did welcome to cyrodil and skipped training, 750 ap, 130g, 1skill point. I believe that's what yo get if you actually do it. The bounty boards activate.

Actually you get more for completing the intro. 2 skill points for sure anyhow.

A official post on page 1 from 6 days ago saying they would look into it. Now litterly 100's of people are stuck here and still no fix in sight or any additional information.

Having the same issue. Only the ballista updates. And no, I do NOT want to skip this questline because I want the 2 free skill points that come with it.

P.S.: I'm just curious. What is it about this particular game that makes something in the questing system break after each patch? It's almost like EVERYTHING in the technology is so closely linked that every little action has a ripple effect. What gives?

This issue was not fixed with the patch today. 1.1.4.

Issue persists, Standing 100's of people unable to do cyrodil. That + so many buggy unbalanced PvE quests really makes me wonder what they expect people to do in this game.

This was reported on the PTS server, several days ago. This is the SECOND item that was reported as bugged on the PTS server that ZOS HAS IGNORED.

Exactly WHY is there a PTS, we are testing, ZOS is ignoring. Bolt Escape nerf is also broken, and was reported as such on the PTS.

I personally feel that ZOS owes us an explantion and FORMAL apology. How, how exactly do these things happen. Either ZOS is impcompent OR they intentionally push patches with KNOWN BUGS that are reported because, well i am not sure why, execpt in the case of the Bolt escape it was to nerf an ability and they just wanted to say hey look we nerf'd it, granted its broken now and we knew it was broken but its ok. We nerf'd this skill that was NOT OP that the Nerf only adversely effects non-magika build users and only in PvP.

It's been nearly a week, and no update from admins? We're all stuck without being able to properly play PvP. I love the Elder Scrolls, but it's bugs like this that make it hard to recommend the game to my friends.

I'm beginning to feel like an idiot for paying for 3 months of game time at once. We pay a monthly fee for the service of ZOS providing a game for us to play. If they're unable to uphold their end of the contract, then I think it's reasonable to get my money back for services not rendered.

I decided to finally, after reaching V2 purely through PvE, try what is supposedly one of this game's more shining features and........the first $#@#$$ quest is BUGGED? This should have been expedited and hot fixed days ago because it is the OPENING QUEST FOR THE WHOLE DAMN PVP PART OF THE GAME!!

I am fed up with the endless string of broken quests, non-functioning things that SHOULD have been working from day 1, features that patches break, and on and on and on..........and on.

What the hell am I and the other 1-3 million people (yes I know, just being optimistic here) paying 15 bucks a month for? I understand overhead but you honestly don't have the resources to fix these endless bugs in a more timely fashion? This is how MMOs tank and soon you won't have the revenue to fix the bugs because everyone has left BECAUSE of them.

FIX your game soon or you can count me in the mass exodus.

This is completely unacceptable. We are all paying customers and deserve better. Having such a game-breaking bug with no helpful response from Zenimax and no fixes is absolutely shameful.

Despite the numerous bugs, I have been enjoying the game so far. Re-logging and abandoning quests over and over again so I can work around ESO's numerous bugs.

But to have an opening / gating quest be broken like this, for days and days, just reeks of incompetence.

Where is our money going? Why are there no in-game GMs? Why does it take days to fix such a basic quest?

Zenimax, get your act together. You're throwing a great franchise down the drain.

What I don't understand is why they don't disable the quest since not completing it is preventing people from being able to do the board quests. Such a simple thing to do in other MMOs. At least that way more people would not get "stuck". Yes, some people will choose to wait because they want to get the stuff from the quest, but some people want to just skip it and move to the boards if it isn't going to work.

What I would do if I was them is insert a cutscene at each NPC showing how to do everything that you would do yourself if the quest worked and then give characters the credit for doing the quests. People can practice on the siege weapons without the quests.
