[Quest Bug] Imperial Infiltration

    Logged in after maintenance and I can confirm, still broken.
    I'm going to call them and ask for a prorated portion of my monthly subscription fees for the 30% of the game content that I am not able to access due to their actions, and inaction at this point. I don't care if it's a dollar, they calculate costs based on number of calls they get, if I call in enough times it will off set my subscription fees. I may not get my money back, but I can make sure they don't make a profit off me as long as I'm not getting my moneys worth out of their product.

    EDIT: Just checked myself just to be sure, nope, still happily abandons after last spy. Awesome.

    It is Maintenance tomorrow for the EU if it not fixed in that then my Sub will be canceled.

    And i hope a lot of other people cancel as well.

    Tried after maintenance this morning, still bugged for VR10 zone. I did this in a regular zone on an alt a few weeks back and it worked fine. From the 2nd week of beta all the way to VR9/10 I have never seen this bug before.

    I am having the same problem. Mine started two days ago, which is when I got to the quest. I am HIGHLY disappointed with the fact that they are not saying anything on this thread, and did not fix it with the patch. I shouldn't have to go and play an alt or not play the game at all just because they can't fix something in their game. We are paying to play this game each month, and if we are unable to play because of a broken quest that keeps us from doing anything else then I hope they plan to reimburse us some.

    This problem brings to mind other MMO that I've played in the past. Many of them were designed with the clear knowledge that strange things can and will go wrong. You might have to wait several hours for a senior GM to be available to help you but they would have access to tools to let them advance your quest stage so at least you can carry on playing the game.

    It's pretty clear to me now that ZOS are out of their depth in so many ways, from the awful way they don't communicate with the community, from the terrible forums, from the awful web only support, from the impact bots have had on the game.

    It's as if they just didn't expect anything to go wrong ever.

    Meanwhile, we can determine that this is due to a change in the code somewhere. We know that it worked prior to this week's maintenance. That means that the places to look for the bug would be limited to code differences between the day before Maint and the day after.

    Now that we've limited that way, we look into what would have impacted that quest specifically. I can't speak to any of the code issues, but in general, its not hard to identify the cause of a bug which appeared after an update.

    If its a case of "we don't know", my money is on the "we" referring to the CSRs and not the devs. Maybe it hit between weekly calls with development? That would anger me.

    What I would like for them to do is be able maintain their own game. We aren't their bosses, we are their *** CUSTOMERS. You buy something from someone and it breaks, preventing you from using it as it was designed and when you FINALLY get a response from them, they say "eh, we'll fix it whenevz" are you seriously saying you wouldn't stop doing business with them? If you would keep buying their crap product, then you are a fool.

    we are their customers which aslo makes us their Clients, Know what clients do when they are un happy with their product they drop the person/company.

    No I would not if I was experience these issues, but I'm not. But if I was, I'm Know that complaining on the forums how it is still broken, is not going to speed things up, but by all means continue wasting your time so skin of my back. I'll just be sitting here laughing at all of your rage comments on how "This is how it should be now fix it" just unsub and be done with it if it really pisses you off, but something tells me you wont be because once it does get fix you will forget all about it. Honestly it is just unbelievable how people think that doing this on the forusm is going to help, you arent even report new information, just a mass of mindless zombies going "braaaaaaainssssssss, .....BRRRAAAAAAAIIIIINSSSSS" AND THEN DEVOURING THE FIRST ALIVE THING THEY SEEE, nomomomomomomomomomomomomomom

    If I were the boss of the employee who keeps breaking more things than he fixes and doesn't even bother to tell me when and what he is planning to do to fix the new problems he created...you're right, yelling at him would be useless, I'd just fire him.
    But since I cannot fire them and I am forced to pay them, I'd like to at least hear SOMETHING. Like them to spend precious 5 minutes to come here and tell us of their plans.

    And no, I'm certainly not going to be understanding about how they "cant just fix it". They could just break it perfectly fine, seeing as it worked before this Monday>.>

    How about this, the only place you can register your complaint is...get ready, this might spin your mind around a bit...these forums. The point is we don't WANT to quit and unsub, we WANT to keep giving these people our money. But we also want them to give us a usable product for that money and we want them to at least acknowledge the issues we run into in-game.
    As for someone who is not "experiencing these issues" coming in and crapping on us while we let Zenimax know that we are, understandably i believe, upset, all i can say is, being a fanboy is no way to go through life, son.

    I think those people that say they have completed it are confused. I was one of those people. The reason is after completing the final objective, the quest abandons itself and you seamlessly get another white objective as it flips to a different quest.     Also experiencing this bug and it needs to be addressed ASAP!

    I need to complete this quest to progress my character further and we're all blocked. This needs to be on priority.

    I have a friend who called in about it and customer support told him to "Go pvp until its fixed."

    However, while I don't mean to sound unappreciative, what is one supposed to do until Monday if this quest prevents progression?

    Assuming one doesn't like to play more than one character, this is subscription time wasted.

    Pretty sweet deal your company has taking money for a service you have no intention of providing for a week at a time to people paying monthly subs.

    Whoever the blatant full-tard is who decided not to IMMEDIATELY patch the issue with the broken quest chains that block all possible progression should be fired IMMEDIATELY.

    You don't put off this kind of bug for the next scheduled patch. You fix it the moment you have a solution. That is what we pay a monthly subscription for.

    We can get week long delays on critical bug fixes in any Free to Play MMO. Opening PTS to force players to do even more of your work for you is equally as ridiculous and is also already available by default to ANY free to play MMO.

    Remind me again what this subscription buys us that every major Free to Play MMO on the market is not already providing?

    My guild mate and I were finishing Cadwell's Silver together when he ran into this bug. I was fortunate and I managed to miss it and progress. But now I'm in Cadwell's Gold and he's still stuck in Cadwell's Silver. So you bring up a good point, this is a progression blocking bug and a major block between 50+ and 50++. And he's been working with Customer Support for several days only to get scripts recited to him to try this and try that. I think this deserves a "hot fix" and I think as paying customers we deserve that.
