[Quest Bug] Imperial Infiltration

Seriously? I guess it shouldn't be surprising by now, but this is just ridiculous. MAIN questline is broken, preventing us from accessing 1/2 of Vet zones and you don't even deem it important enough to comment?!
This shouldn't be waiting til your next patch in a few weeks or whatever, this should be hotfixed the day(at most) you learn about it. Which was, lemme think...3 days ago. Or did you just accidentally delete all the hundreds/thousands bugreports you should've gotten by now?

Same issue for me in VR.

They won't get to this for awhile I'm thinking.

I'm going to head out and do the dungeons, overworld bosses, and Dolmens. When that's done, I'll go grind in Craglorn. VR levels take to long to waste time on this Groundhog Day of a quest until it's fixed.

As a matter of policy, ZOS should refund game time on any progression blocking bug that lasts more than 24hrs. I think these things would be repaired quickly if the suits saw people playing for free until the quest block was fixed.

OMFG fix this already.... bugged here - this and the other bugs are the only thing keeping me from Tamriel Hero title.

VR content bugged for me too. Marked the spies for the crows to kill and the quest resets. Went back and talked to Queen again, talked to the crow and marked the spies again....and it reset again.

Quest loop/dead end....needs a fix asap.

I've finished this quest a moth or so ago and can say for sure it wasn't like this. Now during my second play-through I've got this quest and see its broken.
I made a video to display what happens when you click on the last working objective and what happens next.

well to be fair, I think this is the first time a quest is just palin dropped for completing the objective. Think that requires some more investigation, and the normal things they may usually do wont work

I just checked and it is still broken. I really like this game, but they make it very hard for me to keep liking it. It's like a counterfeit Chinese Gibson Les Paul guitar... it is quite beautiful and easy on the eyes, but frustrating as hell to play.

AS there was just posted a hotfix for a different main quest stopping bug, I thought I might check this one, nope still breaks once the three spies are 'crowed'.

Same here, I tried numerous times and it says completed but doesn't let you go further. If you go back to the Queen she gives you the quest again. Please fix this soon.

What should happen after the third spy is marked:

"Mark the Imperial Spies 3/3"
"Investigate the South Alley"

The bug does instead:

"Completed: Mark the Imperial Spies"
Sound of abandoning quest -> The quest gets automatically abandoned instead of giving the next part

The wife & I both encountered this same bug tonight. This is really frustrating because we were planning on a push to VR6 to advance to AD content. I hope this doesn't linger more than a day.

Man I thought this was just me, I spent far too long trying to speak to the spies in different order etc. I haven't tried yet today, has anybody had any luck?

I tried just in case, but that was total waste of time because it will never work before an actual hotfix.

(I'm afraid, the more serious, urgent and blatant a bug is, the less likely it is to be even acknowledged)

(I have done all I can in Bangkorai (dungeons, wbs, anchors, all side quests) and cannot progress to AD. I have to skip 1/3 of the game (AD zones) completely and go to Craglorn). (Naturally all main quests in Bangkorai are unavailable as well, as this is the first one of them).

This is even more serious to DC players, as the bug is also in normal zones.

Wonder where are subs are going when we can not even get a comment on a MAJOR GAME BREAKING BUG.

Think i will just stop subbing and return in about 6 months when hopefuly they will have sorted most of the crap out ready for the console release.

I have the same problem too and as this is my second Main quest line bug in DC for VR I have un-subscribed. The lack of customer support and the fact you have to pay for a beta version of this game EACH MONTH is beyond ridiculous.

As it stands with the amount of bugs currently present in this game we should not be charged an ongoing fee just to pay the developers for fixing mistakes that shouldn't be there in the first place. I would be happy to pay $15 a month for premium customer support, extra content and maintenance of servers, but im not paying for an amateur team of programmers to realize their mistakes and take weeks fixing it at my expense.

The fact that there is no response to any of these complaints and upset customers demands an explanation and apology as well as justifying some sort of compensation for not being able to use this broken game that we are all paying for.

The german support seems to be much faster then the english, they replied in the german subforum after 2 posts. Basically they said they are now aware of the bug and investigating. Also they said we can help with sending /bug reports ingame as much as possible.

Some people in zone say they've completed it with no problems. A bunch of people say they can't. I've tried:
- Deleting all addons from the folder
- Leaving the zone and relogging both prior to picking up the quest and in the middle of it.
- Literally every possible permutation of which order to mark the spies.
- Avoiding the extra dialogue at the end of talking to the queen.
- Setting graphics to absolute minimum.
- Restarting the client.
- Setting graphics to absolute maximum.
- Asking people in zone chat for help.
- Giving a naked Nord some armor.
- Facing my avatar away from me before logging in.
- Switching to third person.
- Stripping naked and /dancing before marking the last spy.
- Switching to my primary weapon.

Let's hope the end of the world server maintenance in 5 minutes helps.

Tried just now, 6am pacific time, still broken, for once I am upset there was no maintenance this morning. I tried not playing at all yesterday. Downloaded three free to play games, deleted them all after about one minute, each. Must face my addiction head on, aka made an alt on a different faction so I don't run into this quest again.

Here's sincerely hoping they fix it in today's(tomorrow's? Are you on EU server or something, as NA maint is today?) maintenance, though. Because if they don't, well...forums are gonna RAGE. And people are gonna quit because this is already unacceptable to have it broken for days, but to have it still broken after maint...

Still broken after today's maintenance. so.....looking at a week or so being blocked from progressing, again.... Zenimax, I don't know how you stay in business...maybe a front for some Mexican cartel? It has to be something like that. Anyway, I'm not waiting anymore.

Given how quick today's NA maintenance was I'm not sure if they even deployed the hotfix for the other widely acknolweged broken quest, liberation of northpoint.
