VR Difficulty change?

    I'm not VR10, so I can't speak to any of the changes that they're seeing (at least going by some reports in threads here). However, at VR5, I am not seeing enemies with double HP. I am seeing, at most, a 10-20% increase.

    In VR 10, at least the rift, I am seeing the average is about 20% more hp. There are mobs that doubled hp though, giants, mammoths, etc. It does feel like they all hit harder as well.

    Seems kind of random to me. I just did a vr10 delve, and the boss seemed pretty normal, but the trash was more difficult. Two of the trash mobs seemed much harder to deal with than the boss.

    Yeah, I'm fairly certain it's only affecting normal mobs. Bosses seem unchanged.

    I hope this is an unintended change and they'll sort it out before the eu patch hits. Dealing with more than 2 mobs at a time is risky enough as it is, no further mob buff was really needed, imo.

    I'm a sorcerer with sort of a wonky build. It worked solo whenever I needed it, for the most part, all through normal levelling once I finalized the build. And when I switched to solo from group levelling in veteran content, I consistently had trouble with groups of three, they were barely possible for me to do yesterday, and I basically had to stunlock them all and hope they'd die before I ran out of stamina for Magnum Shot.

    With this patch, and this specific bug, I can't even take on one mob without having to stun lock and keep it very far away from me. Or else it will destroy me with auto attacks. The one ranged attack a lot of the dual weilding type enemies have does more than half of my health in damage.

    This is kinda absurd, and I hope it's fixed soon, or else I can't progress.

    VR6 and I'm lucky to live if facing more than one pve opponent; and so far, usually don't. Thought it was just me, not glad but relieved others are having such difficulty.

    Just kinda dropping another voice in to say folks in my guilds are reporting the same. Mobs seem to have more health and hit harder, specifically in the V7-V10 zones. People are reporting a lot of problems soloing in late VR content. I'm not personally there yet, so I have nothing to report on that end.. but I know lots of people don't bother with the forums.. so figured I'd forward their experiences where appropriate.

    Thank goodness I am not the only one see this. I am getting killed by 1000-1500 hits from mobs. And forget trying to do 3 mobs at one time. Even in heavy armor this is a nightmare. And the xp is exactly the same as before. The only difference is I can't seem to one shot or two shot mobs from stealth any more at all. They have to many hit points.

    You're expecting Zenimax to...post...on their own forums?

    Maybe if you can somehow wrap this problem inside of another problem you're having with, say, the font on the forums. Something like "Hey, ZOS Staffer, I'm seeing Arial when I should be seeing Helvetica, what's going on?! By the way, veteran zones are unplayable."

    Then you might be able to get their attention with such a crucial font issue.

    The patch notes mentioned making veteran mobs for certain levels less difficult to be appropriate for their zones, didn't they? Maybe this was an error related to this change?

    They are worth twice the XP, and give as much. Too bad in veteran content we earn VP, not XP... (wouldn't surprise me if this was the screwup they made).

    With the nerf to impulse and now this change, here is one previous fanboi who will serf the forum instead of play. I was getting through VR5 but it was already no picnic.

    Not sure what they are thinking in that company, it is not even in the patch notes.

    ya its alot harder now. Hit harder have more hitpoints, Sword and Board is totally useless now. I am VR7 and can barely take down 2 mobs now. I am about done with the game, this patch really pushed me over :)
    I have unsubscribed, I have 19 days left though, so hopefully they fix things soon and I will re-sub, if not, hello Wildstar.

    For the love of Talos! Why in the world were VR mobs buffed? This change is absurd.

    I bet one of the PTS players, probably at VR 10 already, asked for the VR mobs to be buffed just to prevent other players from reaching that level. This was probably another one of those "I've got mine but you can't have yours" type of situations.

    Would anyone at ZOS care to explain why the VR mobs were made more difficult? This is a subscription cancellation event for a lot of people who found the VR content to be too difficult before the patch and this buff to mobs.

    I will say this, I love how some folks are overreacting over something that's clearly an unintentional bug.

    One thing I've learned from playing MMO's over the years is that you can never take it for granted that anything is "obviously" an unintended change. I've seen the most ridiculous things turn out to be intended changes, or not even be acknowledged for months or years. So we can certainly hope it's an unintentional bug. But we certainly can't rest easy that it is, especially since they haven't even acknowledged or started looking into it yet.

    I'm sorry, but, what? Did you leave your sense of logic in the car or something? It's okay if you have, we can wait until you go and get it.

    The Devs are smart enough to not listen to a *** like you described. Why would they do this on purpose? It's not in the patch notes anywhere that "VR mobs are buffed" it's clearly a bug. Stop overreacting and accusing.

    Sounds like I'll be cancelling my sub after I run my other two alts through the next two alliances up to 49 if they don't change this. This has got to be a joke, or there's a total idiot in charge of making these kinds of decisions! Right now I have no desire whatsoever to play Vet anything, or to even set one foot in Cyrodil.
