This is nice if it's in fact true. On a related note, anyone notice how Philius no longer even has the old base morphable pet fragments anymore? Right now he's selling all the fragments for Hoardhunter Ursauk, Sacred Hourglass of Akatosh, and Doomchar Plateau, but not the Soulfire Dragon Illusion, the Unstable Morpholith, or the Passion Dancer Blossom. They aren't going to be consumed for making new morphs going forward. This change will also apply to any older morphables (Nascent Indrik, Unstable Morpholith, Soulfire Dragon Illusion, Passion Dancer Blossom, Molag Bal Illusion Imp & Stonewisp of Truth and Law) once U49 goes live.
Eh, I think "morphs" is still fine. Maybe just have an in-game note that it no longer consumes the original along with it.Just wanted to follow up as others have commented. The ticket cost is correct. Going forward, the base item for the morphing collectible no longer disappears, so costs were adjusted to reflect that. We are looking into possibly changing the name since it no longer morphs, but that is currently under discussion.

And @scrappy1342 math is correct. Thanks for highlighting this!

I do hope the events last longer though to compensate for increased price for folk that want everything

And that will work for older pets too? What if I have pet and all fragments for second pet (stored to get missed morph parts, morph it and create pet for last time as actually pet)?

Yes, this will be the case for older pets in Update 49.

And what would be with extra pieces? When there is pet and pet fragments both. Deleted? Stuck in ui forever? Converted somehow?
Also, will there be any changes with displaying sections for already collected things? It's not obvious now what is collected and what wasn't even beginned.
I'm using it, yes. But would be much better if ui was clearer, with collected things hidden or at least marked as collected.Since you're on PC, I would suggest the Collectibles Tracker addon which will give you a clearer overview of the status of all of the event morphs from every year.
@ZOS_Kevin I was going to ask in the PTS forum, but since you're already active here on this thread... I noticed that on the PTS, the base morph pet does stay after morphing, but it's not retroactive. For example: I have an alt account on Live that has unlocked the Deadlands Firewalker personality, which required the Unstable Morpholith base pet to acquire, but it hadn't gotten enough of the base pet fragments to make another copy of the pet. On the PTS, this alt account still does not have the Unstable Morpholith base pet, even though it has unlocked things that were morphed from this pet.
I think these base morph pets should be granted retroactively to any account that has consumed the pet in the past.

I want to make the Doomchar Plateau on PC EU, but I have not played there during the corresponding event. So, I can buy the fragments for the house itself, but I have no way now to get the pet for it. I know that starting U49 we will not need to create the pet multiple times, but I do not have this pet AT ALL. @ZOS_Kevin Will I be able to create the house just from the house fragments or I'm completely locked out of the house on PC EU due to inability to get the Unstable Morpholith for the first time?
